Narcissistic Abuse and It’s Relation to Cults

Cults have many similarities with narcissistically abusive relationships. Firstly, cults do not allow for individuality and use many narcissistically abusive mind control techniques to keep victims stuck and in servitude. Secondly, cults will use scapegoating and manipulate victims to see anyone who doesn’t agree with their ideologies as other and needing to be fought. Cults will look to gaslight victims into not trusting their own self and taking on the cults groupthink viewpoints as a way of making sure everyone complied to the abusive tyrant leader.
