Jonas Adler and Alexander Pritzel are moving to Anthropic. Adler worked on AI coding, while Pritzel worked on model training. Europe is facing a very hot summer with record temperatures. Cities are using design solutions to help citizens stay cool. For example, Paris created cool zones called cooling islands. These areas use water, vegetation (植被,草木), and shade to reduce heat. They can make a space four to seven degrees cooler. Paris now has over one thousand four hundred cooling spots. Residents can find them on a digital map. French schools are painting windows with chalk powder mixed with water to reflect sunlight. In Marseilles, the city is planting thousands of trees. Trees cool the air naturally by blocking the sun and releasing water from their leaves.
