Nasrin's Bitter Story

from Afghan Radio - Sound of Life · host Hope for Afghans

In human society, and especially in our society, poverty and backwardness usually provide the causes of suffering and pain for people, especially women. In our modern society, women are oppressed and imprisoned within the walls of their homes under the name of Sharia, culture, patriarchy, and jealousy. They have been deprived of all rights. They have neither the right to education, nor the right to work, nor the right to wear clothes of their own choice, they have been deprived of all the rights and entitlements that God has given to women. If we look carefully, God has created women for a purpose. A woman is the best wife for a man, a mother for her children, and the best sister for her brother. Therefore, we must respect women.
