Nate Boyer is a retired Army Green Beret, serving in multiple Special Forces groups, and a former football player for the University of Texas as well as a short career in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks. Boyer is best known to many for penning a letter to Colin Kaepernick in Army Times regarding his protest during the National Anthem, and later meeting with the former San Francisco 49er.
