National Association of Counties Award Winners

Vermillion County recieved two awards.The National Association of Counties, usually called NACo, is a national organization that represents county governments in the United States. It gives counties a voice in federal policymaking, helps county leaders share ideas and best practices, provides research and education, and supports county officials and staff across the country. NACo works with America’s counties, parishes, and boroughs on issues like public safety, health, infrastructure, economic development, emergency management, and government funding. In simple terms: NACo is like the national advocate and resource hub for county governments. It helps counties work together and speak with one voice in Washington, D.C.
