National Bourbon Heritage Month: Indiana Bourbon Whiskey with Alan Bishop and Spirits of French Lick

To celebrate and continue our focus on National Bourbon Heritage Month, Bourbon expert Tom Fischer welcomes alchemist and distiller Alan Bishop to talk about and taste Indiana Bourbon. Fischer and Bishop taste the new Hindostan Falls Heirloom Bourbon Whiskey from Spirits of French Lick Distillery. Bishop also shares some history on the importance of the state of Indiana in Bourbon whiskey. Hindostan crafted in West Baden Springs, Indiana with a unique blend of 150+ open-pollinated and landrace corns, this bourbon spotlights the diverse flavor profiles from the heirloom corn's distinct coloration and amino acid breakdown. Named after Hindostan Falls in Indiana, once a bustling town but abandoned after disease outbreaks, this bourbon pays tribute to a lost legacy.
