National Child Abuse Prevention Month - Part 2

National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to strengthen families to prevent child abuse and neglect. Through this collaboration, prevention services and supports help protect children and produce thriving families. In this episode we will discuss what abuse is, who the perpetrators are, what a abuse perpetrator is, and some general characteristics of a abuse perpetrator. You will be shocked to find out who most of the perpetrators are. Each week this month we will be discussing some aspect of child abuse and how we might prevent it.
