National Lampoon’s Vacation
from Reel Sisters Rewind Hosted by Reel Sisters Rewind
Buckle up, folks—just in time for the holiday weekend, this week on Reel Sisters Rewind, sisters Amanda Stephens and Missy Washam are hitting the road with the Griswolds as they revisit the outrageous 1983 comedy National Lampoon’s Vacation. From exploding sandwiches to Aunt Edna’s final ride, this road trip gone wrong delivers nonstop laughs and unforgettable family moments. Joining them for a special pit stop are their cousins Hal McMahon and Tracy Burnham, partners in crime on many family vacations growing up. With their dads co-founding Mac’s Construction, summers meant work for the men and special trips for the rest of the crew. Hal and Tracy hop in for a nostalgic detour filled with stories, sibling antics, and classic 80s chaos that sometimes felt straight out of a Griswold getaway. So pack the snacks and join Amanda and Missy as they rewind this comedic classic that proves getting there is half the fun.
