What this episode covers
It’s the height of summer, and we’re all still on summer vacation. And what do well adjusted, normal people do every year during this time, with their kids out of school and time off? Well, if they’re the Griswolds, they pack everyone into the Family Truckster and drive across country on a pilgrimage – no, a QUEST! to visit Roy Wally’s Wally World! John Hughes did spectacularly for this film, capturing what could go wrong on a family trip, from running into the relatives you hate to having one die in the car with you while being completely wiped out of money after being robbed. But this is perhaps Chevy Chase’s best film, so join us as we discuss the Griswold family vacation in National Lampoon’s Vacation!
