National Stock Exchange of India: a world-class and transparent institution

In just under two decades Chitra Ramkrishna, MD & Chief Executive Officer of India's National Stock Exchange (NSE), and her leadership team have transformed India's securities markets and stock exchanges into a world-leading operation as the National Stock Exchange. In an interview for Cambridge Judge Business School's website she talked about the development of the Exchange as the first fully transparent, electronic, nationwide exchange, with real-time risk management and guaranteed settlements with short and certain settlement cycles.
