Nationals Snag Hampton for Free | Washington Nationals News

The Nationals pulled off a savvy move, snagging top prospect Chase Hampton off waivers from the Yankees for free—sending a clear message about their front office’s sharpness. Hampton, once a top-100 prospect and even linked to a potential trade for CJ Abrams, is now headed to Double-A Harrisburg after a rough post-Tommy John comeback. His control issues have plagued him since surgery, but landing him at no cost speaks volumes about Washington’s confidence in his upside—and their ability to spot value where others see decline. With Matt Waldron now on the IL, this could be the start of a rebuilding push with Hampton as the centerpiece. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
