On today’s podcast Jessica interviews Dr. Lindsey Schneider, Assistant Professor of Native American Studies in the Department of Ethnic Studies at Colorado State University. We dive deep into the Indigenous Science, Technology, Arts, & Resilience (ISTAR) Camp that she collaboratively developed with Indigenous community members in Fort Collins, the Poudre School District, Bohemian Foundation, CSU Access Center and Fort Collins Museum of Discovery. We talk about in depth about developing youth camps and other programs in general with Indigenous communities, especially in suburban or semi-urban areas.
