Die Nato plant im September das Großmanöver "Northern Coast" in der Ostsee. Dieses Jahr liegt der Schwerpunkt auf der Verteidigung und der Freihaltung von Seewegen in die baltischen Staaten. So üben die insgesamt 14 beteiligten Nationen laut der Deutschen Marine die Abwehr von Bedrohungen "auf, über und unter Wasser sowie von Land". Wie genau das Seemanöver ablaufen wird und welche Reaktion von Russland ausgehen könnte, berichtet Hauke Friedrichs, Sicherheitspolitischer Korrespondent bei ZEIT ONLINE. Das Denguefieber schafft es in kleineren Infektionsclustern immer wieder nach Deutschland. Aktuell gibt es in Europa kleinere Ausbrüche von Denguefieber in Paris und am Gardasee, während man weltweit von bis zu 400 Millionen Infektionen pro Jahr ausgeht.
