Natural Disaster? Or God’s judgment, the prelude of the Great Tribulation?

from English Service - WGM Church

6-27-2021 Weekly Message Meditation of the Week: Psalm 91:1-16 Text: Psalm 11:1-7 Sermon Title: Natural Disaster? Or God’s judgment, the prelude of the Great Tribulation?          Now almost every day we hear that every continent of the planet is constantly suffering from devastating natural disasters. Great floods, hail, earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, storms, wildfires, and so on beyond human capacity are occurring. It must not be forgotten that God not only created  natures, but he controls in the midst of them.          Now we are living in the end times according to the Bible. Also, all nations of  people living in this age have forgotten the grace that God has given them and are committing all kinds of evil. The world has become even worse than when God judged the world with the flood in the day of Noah, as well as the time of Sodom and Gomorrah in the old days.       In the days of Noah, all people except Noah did not serve God, but followed the lusts of the flesh, eating, drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage, not realizing themselves of their wickedness until the flood came and they were totally destroyed. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha and cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire(Jude 1:7).                   The Bible says that the LORD God in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men . The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup(Ps 11:4-6) The Bible also says that fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfills the word of God (Ps.  148:8).          Apostle John ascended to the heavenly throne in the Spirit, and testified of the things he had seen: “And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.” (Revelation 4:5).           When God judged the wicked king of Egypt, he brought down what appeared to be natural disasters: ” And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt. 24So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.” (Exodus 9:23-24).          Even when Joshua was fighting against the Amorites, God sent hail from heaven to help Joshua win the battle: ” And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword. “(Joshua 10:11)         One of the common disasters occurring in almost all continents now is hail disaster. Among the questions God asked Job in his affliction, he spoke of hail: ” Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, 23Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?” (Job 38:22-23).         ” The time of trouble”  refers to the time of great tribulation that shall soon emerge into the earth, and on the day of battles and wars, when Joshua was fighting against the Amorites, hail fell and more people died from the hailstones than from the swords. The biggest hailstones that fall on many countries now are as big as baseballs, but the Bible says that during the great tribulation to judge the world in the future, unimaginable hailstones fall from heaven: “And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.” (Revelation 16:21).         Apostle John testified of what he had seen of how great and unimaginable the calamities that fall upon the world during the Great Tribulation: ” The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. 8And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. 10And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. 12And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.” (Rev 8:7-12).          Also of the last woes Apostle John testified: ” And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. 5And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. 6And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. 7And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. 10And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.” (Rev 9:1-10).           Jesus spoke of the days of plagues before the Great Tribulation: “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8All these are the beginning of sorrows.” (Matthew 24:7-8).         The calamities that are taking place in the world right now are good news for Christians  belong to the born again church of God, but  scary and trembling news for those who are not saved. According to the timetable in the Bible, most of the churches have turned away from the faith in Jesus Christ in apostate, claiming that there is also salvation in other religions other than Jesus Christ, and all religions have come to a state of unity. We hear the almost completion of the Great Reset in the areas of politics, economy, society, as well as culture that has been plotted by  the forces of  Deep States over the past several hundred years to bring the whole world together under the coming Antichrist. Now there is someone withholding the scheme to be delayed some time, but when he is removed, immediately  the first seal is to be opened, the Antichrist will appear and the whole world will be turned into as the hell.          Therefore, Christians who await the appearing of Christ must prepare themselves to be  pure bride of Christ  in thorough repentance. Also, those who are not saved shall enter into the great tribulation and live a life like slaves under the Antichrist unless they repent and believe in Jesus Christ to be born again if the Holy Spirit before the coming of the great tribulation. There is not much time left. Now is the time to be in alert.       The time has come to meditate deeply on Jesus’ words to the Jews who will go through the Great Tribulation: ” Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21:26-28). Amen! Hallelujah!
