Andrea Clare is a 59-year-old artist and Mum of 3 humans and 3 dogs. As well as having extensive life experience, including firsthand experience of neurodiversity, she is a qualified FE teacher and, after 20 years in training and development finally discovered her real passion 2 years ago - art - and has undertaken a large number of pet portrait commissions since. However, she’s not just an artist, She is The Menopause Artist! She helps women understand and navigate their menopause journey using the healing power of art. After a horrendous perimenopause experience 10 years ago when ‘perimenopause’ wasn’t a thing and she was simply medicated for depression, she made it her mission to empower women with information so that their menopause experience is easier. At the same time she allows them to take time out for themselves, to get creative and practice self-love. Andrea does this through her private FB information group, her online 8-week program, Meno-PAUSE-Art, and collaborations with other wellness practitioners. She is also co-author of Beyond the Ordinary - Discover the Power of Creative and Neurodiverse Women, launching in October 2024.
