Navigating family politics

Politics these days.. is well.. a sticky subject.. especially “family politics”..Daily things, the bigger things and all of our humanness.How is this showing up in your own life?Do feel your failing or flowering?Personally, I’m feeling BOTH.I was on a roll with my voice project for myself, you and young people and ..Swoosh.. reality came in.. And, at 2AM I booked a flight, packed and got ready for an entirely new phase.These last weeks, I’ve been managing that family mix of ick and wonderful.. reality with an unexpected moment of my dad landing in the hospital..And, amidst it  all.. pausing for gratitude for what HAS and IS showing up..Breathing with the ick that fear, greed and insecurity bring in..  feeling sadness for the humanness of it all.. And, seeing the beauty of all the souls that I’ve missed and reconnecting.While, Ella is showing and feeling with her body.. what is ACTUALLY in the room..And, we’re all just doing our best.This time, beside the tears.. was so power-full.. no regrets for coming, supporting, reconnecting and more..And, Ella.. brought in the play and joy between it all..
