‘Navigating Job Loss & Overcoming Career Grief’ With & Co-Founder of Bear Recruiting, Kevin Kilday

On this episode of The Power of Love Show we welcome special guest, Kevin Kilday. Kevin is an entrepreneur and Co-Founder of the recruitment firm, Bear Recruiting. Currently, Kevin lives in Delray Beach which is located in south Florida. Outside of running his business, Kevin enjoys all aspects of health and fitness and spending time relaxing at the beach. Kevin grew up in Northern Virginia and after high school, was recruited to play Division 1 basketball at Radford University in Virginia. Ultimately, he made the decision to not play basketball, but instead focus fully on his education. After graduating from Radford University with a degree in Marketing, Kevin began his career in sales. After a couple of years, he got into the medical sales field, where he enjoyed assisting doctors in helping their patients by providing better clinical outcomes. Eventually, he transitioned into a completely different industry to further develop his skillset and knowledge as a sales and business professional. In 2020 at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, Kevin and a colleague by the name of Keith Lee, decided to partner up and launch their company. Today, Bear Recruiting primarily serves the healthcare industry, by partnering with companies to help them find and hire top medical sales talent of all levels. More recently, Kevin and Bear Recruiting began helping job seekers to market and brand themselves more effectively on LinkedIn, which is the largest online business networking platform. For Kevin, one of the most rewarding things in his business is being able to help others succeed with a very important aspect of their lives — their careers.
