I’m using the phrase mum guilt but of course this can apply to either parent. Mum guilt is real, It’s something I’ve struggled with since my children were born…. Are you doing this right? should you do that? etc… Mum guilt leaves you questioning yourself when you’re with the children and equally when you do take some time out. It’s as though you can’t win. It’s exhausting and in my opinion it doesn’t always get easier the older they get.
