Navigating Relationships with Adult Children with Susie Funk

I'm so excited to share my conversation fellow coach Susie Funk. Susie specializes in helping mothers navigate relationships with their adult children. When we become mothers of adult children our role needs to changes to more of an equal ground yet we may find ourselves still trying to parent our adult child. Susie and I have a great conversation about this and how to increase connection with your adult child.We also talk about confidence in our role as mother and even though raising our children part is over, we still have much to offer. The important thing is what space we are in when we do so. Susie talks about how to let go of trying to control our child and their actions and how their choices have nothing to do with what kind of mother we are.One of my most powerful takeaways is giving myself permission to be a confident leader in my role as matriarch and to allow myself to be me even if my kids don't acknowledge what I said or did.
