Benjamin H. Milligan is a former US Navy SEAL, author, and military historian that served in SEAL Teams from 2001 to 2009. A native of Indianapolis, he received a BA in History at Purdue University before deploying with SEAL Team 4 in Europe and deploying into combat at SEAL Team 5. Since then, he's penned 'By Water Beneath the Walls: The Rise of the Navy SEALs', a gripping history chronicling the fits and starts of American Special Operations the ultimate rise of the Navy SEALs from unarmed frogmen to elite, go-anywhere commandos as told by one of their own.
