NCHC Icecast: Denver's David Carle Discusses Winning The World Juniors

David Carle added another impressive item to his resume last weekend when he was the head coach for Team USA, which went undefeated to win the gold medal at the IIHF World Junior Championship. Carle has led Denver to back-to-back regular season NCHC titles and the 2022 NCAA Division I championship. Carle talks about leading the Americans to the gold medal in Sweden and working with St. Cloud State head coach Brett Larson at the tournament. He also discusses the talent of Denver freshman defenseman Zeev Buium, who is considered a probably first-round NHL draft pick,the return to the lineup of Pioneers goalie Matt Davis and keys to this weekend's series against St. Cloud State.
