An injured hiker was forced to spend Monday night at the base of Dragontail Peak above Colchuck Lake in the Enchantments before being rescued Tuesday morning.A firefighter in training with the Wenatchee Valley Department has been charged with felony harassment and misdemeanor assault for allegedly making threats to a superior and to a fellow firefighter during a mental health crisis, and for fighting with team members when they came to his home to intervene.And the Wenatchee Valley woke up to moderate air quality this morning as smoke from wildfires on the west side travels east.
