NDIS advocate jailed for $700,000 fraud

Former NDIS advocate James Davies has been sentenced to 32 months in jail after defrauding the National Disability Insurance Scheme of $700,000. Davies, who worked as an NDIS planner and is himself an NDIS recipient, fraudulently increased the plans of two participants who were then billed for services they did not receive.
