Ndong’s Marquette Commitment | Big East Basketball News

Philipe Ndong, a raw but promising 6-8 power forward from The Newman School, has committed to Marquette for the 2027 class—filling one of their two scholarships and sparking questions about roster strategy under new eligibility rules. Scouts see him as a developmental project with untapped potential: lean, needing strength, but blessed with size, skill, and basketball IQ. He’s a sharp shooter (38% from three) and aggressive at the rim (79% finish rate), with a pro pedigree thanks to his father’s professional career. While ranked inconsistently without an ESPN evaluation, Marquette and Creighton were his top contenders, with both offering scholarships in mid-June. His frame is all arms and legs—but with work, he could become a force. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
