NDP Episode 53: Mentorship Hour with Dr. Anthony Mak

In this episode I had the Awesome privilege of sitting down with one of Australia’s premier dentists Dr. Anthony Mak. Dr. Mak is a University of Sydney graduate and along with many CPD hours, received a Graduate Diploma in Implants from the University of Sydney as well. Dr. Mak has worked in some of Sydney’s top dental practices prior to opening his own practice, W Dental where we focuses on advanced restorative treatments. He is passionate about digital dentistry, indirect restorative as well as implant dentistry and has built up his practice to allow him to focus on these procedures. Outside of clinical work, Dr. Mak is also a highly respected educator running several courses throughout Australia on a broad range of topics including adhesive dentistry and aesthetic dentistry. Overall, I found this interview to be filled with so many pearls that I think you guys will get a ton of value from. We talk about his first job, how to plan for and become a better clinician, the importance of communication, digital and restorative dentistry.
