In our latest argument episode, we put on our socialist glasses and talk about a new phenomena in our lives, identity politics. Today, the spirit of the very first socialists after the French revolution is revived, as we take issue with a new societal trend that claims identity is the key definer for one's privilege in society. In this episode we show that this idea is wrong using both philosophy and science. But most of all we show that this type of politics bitterly divides us, and not only does nothing to help those it claims to, but ultimately results in only helping the most powerful forces in society.
