Ne Plus Ultra - Episode 7: Pop Culture Culture
from Comrade Cast · host Spencer Downing
Welcome everyone to the seventh episode of Ne Plus Ultra - Pop Culture Culture. Today, we explore something that people often seem to claim doesn't exist, North American culture. The countries which populate the continent are extremely new in the grand scale of human history. So they lacked defining cultural connectors that exist in older countries throughout the world. That was, until they created an entirely new form of cultural connections and found a way to export their culture across the planet, ultimately becoming the dominate force in the world. How did they achieve this? How did America eventually end up declaring a cultural victory? Listen and find out. Come and join me if you will as we explore the culture of popular culture. In the second segment of the podcast, we talk a lot about the Iowa caucuses and what this means for the future of the Presidential race in the United States. As well, we take on our first piece of harsh criticism from a Black Lives Matter supporter. It's another wild ride for the part of your brain that enjoys the finer things here on Ne Plus Ultra. Stay thinking my friends. -Spencer Announcements! It's time we talk about money and the podcast. Ultimately I hope to make this my full time profession, and some of you have been asking if we would set up a Patreon account. So we have set up the official Ne Plus Ultra Patreon account!
