Near Death Experiences with Dr. Melvin Morse | Music and the Science of NDE’s
from The Observatory | Discovery of Consciousness & Awareness · host The Observatory Podcast
We’re so happy to welcome our guest, Dr. Melvin Morse, who is a former physician that worked in a children’s hospital in Seattle, and he has a lot of stories to tell about children having near death experiences. We talk about that as well as music and frequency, and some beautiful things that he can share as only he can. He tells us about various patients they interviewed and did studies on to try and understand what was going on with the brain while it was so low on oxygen, during these moments that the patients temporarily died, and their findings on consciousness and the brain were pretty remarkable. Things don’t always seem to make sense, at least scientifically. Dr. Melvin’s background and experiences 1:45Being awake and aware at the time of death 8:33How this has changed what he believes 13:02Be kind and how this has profoundly affected Melvin 20:20Near death experience of a young boy underwater for 45 minutes 28:101 over F Music (1/F) 31:19Bathing the brains of autistic children with this music 38:19Experiencing the vibration and rhythm 49:51“She was 7 years old. She said she went to a place that she called heaven and she met Jesus, and I’ll never forget. She looked at me and said ‘I wasn’t dead. I wasn’t dead at all. Some part of me was still alive’ and she said it with such wonder. I feel so grateful that I’m able to hear these stories for the very first time because there’s such a sense of awe and wonder in the look in their eye.” 4:24
