Through 2 Corinthians 1 and the restoration of Peter, we see that Jesus doesn't disqualify us by our failures — He intercedes for us, meets us in our shame, and calls us back to Himself. We aren't redeemed unto nothing. We are redeemed unto purpose. And the comfort we've received is not meant to stop with us.
