Nearly 69,000 respiratory cases reported in Indonesian volcano ash-hit areas

Indonesia has recorded nearly 69,000 cumulative cases of acute respiratory infections in areas affected by ash from the erupting Anak Krakatau volcano. Health authorities said over 17,000 cases were recorded on Sept. 8 alone in four provinces affected by ashfall.
