Nebraska 42 Georgia Southern *dies of laughter* 45. The Eagles ran the ball down Nebraska's throats and exploit the Huskers in the air game as well. They totaled 642 total yards of offense on the blackshirts, while the Huskers produced an offensive frenzy of their own with 575 yards of offense. This game can be described in many words, but I'm going to keep it to just a few. Disgusting, disappointing, comedy, maddening, confusing, etc, perfectly fit this game. Keep in mind, that I predicted this team would go 10-2. The offense is doing everything in its power to win, and unfortunately, the defense cannot get a stop to save its own life. QB Casey Thompson had his best game of the year, going 23/34 for 318 yards and 1 touchdown through the air. He also had 31 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. RBs Anthony Grant and Ajay Allen had great performances as well. despite injuries and struggles on the offensive line. Poor tackling, blown assignments, and terrible trench penetration were once again themes of this defense.
