Nebulous Nights #13

from S.H.U.

The crew decides to head to some information brokers known as the Work Force over in the United Colonies section of space. The Work Force has a nice place on the planet Drai'noire, but from most of the crews recolection, the Work Force are not known to be info brokers. With them setting course however, it seems like Mirage is still upset after the encounter with one of Shamm's kind, one that seems to know Shamm very well. Can the crew track down some teleportation tech and get to Earth? What about the power vacuum from the missing gods? Meanwhile on Drai'noire, there seems to be someone who has a tail on them, and well, on them, literally. Well, guess it's time to get to work... Nebulous Nights is a FATE based real play podcast. Greetings Space Cadets and welcome to episode 13 of the Nebula Snights. We have some amazing people with us here to play with us in SPRES of the Canonical SHU universe. Is that like ATM machine? We already discussed that.

We have some amazing people here like Jay playing Bonsar. Hi everybody, you might know me from Amber Villier-O's where I play other characters or from the gutter on the outside of your house. Watching. Just waiting.

No, I'm tired, I'm just trying to take a nap. Sleeping. I don't think we have access to the Coon from South Park. Anyway, because you're in the gutters and in the trap.

I don't know. Someone's taking me from this, nothing I've become. Robert, hey. Hi, Jay, you're driving the gutter.

Just knock on that you in. Yeah, but you don't have a nice gutter inside. No, I have beds. I'm okay.

Beds are like padded gutters. And that talking about padded gutters is not morgue. I was just about to say morgue. It's not morgue.

That's... We are morgue. Morgue is Mike. Everyone, I'm Mike and I play morgue the G-Tayon, the Texavant of the Savagelands.

I still need to figure out how the fuck is spelled out, even though you probably give it to me a couple of times. It's in the character sheet. Okay, I'll look there. We also have a new guest today with us today, not replacing Eli.

Eli is actually going to be out, but you'll hear parts of him during the episode. It's magic. Well, we have a new contender in this space sector. We have with us Logan.

Hello. This is my first time, please be gentle. No one can hear you scream in space? I'm not sure about that.

Unless you're podcasting. Hi, I'm Logan. I'm playing Akita Yamaguchi. Which we will get to here pretty soon.

I have plans within plans. Not really. Don't worry about it. I'm jam.

That's also a heavy deals planetary gear system. We also have with us in this closet over here that we find separate from the rest of the group. Oh, hi, Eli. Cody, let me the fuck out of this closet.

What are you doing? No, you stay in there. No, no. Oh, God.

He's going to introduce himself. Hold on. Come on, Eli. Introduce yourself at least.

I mean, it's Cody. It's been a month. You could have at least met me. Here's some scraps.

Go fuck yourself. Introduce yourself so I could put you back in this closet. No, if I don't introduce myself, you won't close the door. I'm Eli, I'm a Raj.

Okay. All right, cool. We'll see you next month. Bye.

Bye. Does someone want to give me the recap of what happened on a last episode? Sure. So we last episode, we were set off with the tasks, the three main goals of figuring out a way to get a portal to Earth, figuring out a way to protect the rest of the gods.

So we don't have some sort of massive power vacuum of other gods going like, oh, and we still got to protect the sector because we get paid for that. So the team goes back to hexatory five sans zanthrop because he's off doing science. So we have to try to see if we can recover some of the portal tech that they were working on at hexatory five and the research labs there. Raj and Shamm have a stealth mission to try to get into the facility and make some plant friends.

And it turns out that they hate doors, especially ones that have shamm's evil twin species brother, who knows, behind said doors because that is one big old der clamp bone starch right to be a distraction for them, but momentarily forgot how to fly. So a practical retreat was beat right before we pulled out of the system because we like not dying. Morg was able to hack the science vessel for the white star battalion and got some info about some of the more recent places that they had jumped to relating to just God stuff in general because Christian Dorman has very bad security. One of them was hexatory five, which we're at, so that's done.

There's the great Octamine library that we could try to check out. We could try to get in touch with the information brokers at the workforce contractors limited. And there was another data point, but it was there's some sort of transmission error between the Wi-Fi of the different ship. And we're going to get a clear enough signal to find out what that last one was.

And what that actually means is Cody didn't have another thing, but I do know. I do know that transmission signal does pop back on right before you zoom out of this portion of space. And it says the last known location that they've been to recently was a planet named Carcala. There doesn't seem to be a lot of notes here.

It seems to be the rest of this information is sort of hidden, but you do notice there is a significant note, sort of like the asterisk next to the workforce one about them being information brokers. This one is just like right next to it just says very, very moist. Please let's not go here again, stand representative next time. Yeah.

That's right. So head of info, very moist, very uncomfortable with the white star battalion. Do not want it seems like the asterisk you're getting are like his personal notes. The more data sort of related to this planetoid is sort of like back within like white star battalion stuff that you can't seem to get to.

It's like someone having their own individual notes and a PDF gets kind of tagged into it. So I guess just to complete my notes, we got some info about who the workforce are because bone star has worked with them in the past and has a contact with them, more potentially has worked with them or at least worked through their subcontractors for the past for smuggling jobs. And bone star has a contact named Laddis work there and they're currently around the planet Dry Noir led by a queen dry and it's outside the colony world's territory. And those are the worlds that the Knights have contract worked with.

So we got some options. We should probably not check out these workforce contractors and just hair off towards Carcala just to make Cody very uncomfortable and Logan. Yeah, it's not like I have specific places that you guys need to go at least for now to pick up certain people. But yeah.

Yeah, JK, let's let's check out the workforce. So you guys head on out there. But one thing I do want to start doing is I want to be guys are flying around the sector, so to speak. I want to make use of these piloting roles and navigation stuff.

So here's what I want to do. I have sort of like a sheet where actually I need to get a paper and pencil because I want to get a paper and pencil because I have a little thing that you guys want to do. I would like someone to pilot the ship, someone to do navigations and then someone to do I don't want to say research, but like, you know how there's like usually a captain, like engine, I'm sorry, engines, engines repair. So more you can't do two things, but I want one of you to do a sort of maybe like a will role or craft role to tend to the engines.

And then you will do a will or lower role for navigations and then one of you will do a piloting role. I'm driving. And instead of just taking the number, what I want is I want how many pluses you get, how many negatives you get and how many neutrals you get. Sweet.

I love this. So it's like a luck role, but will our actual ability modify it at all? Yeah, I will take it into account. Yes.

I will also let you know that all of these can be used in replacement, like you can use will instead, but will have a lesson effect, lower or craft will have a higher effect. Okay, so I rolled a five total natural inclination is for driving. I have two pluses, one minus and one neutral. Sorry.

Okay, I will handle the ship engines repairs and maintenance. My base stat for craft and repair rolls is effectively a five if I can use the army tools in my axe. Yeah. I rolled three pluses and a negative seven, but three pluses and a negative.

Okay. And show I think you that leaves me navigating. Yep. So my will is plus two.

Okay. And I got two pluses and two minus and two. Plus is in two minus and so you came out with an even zero. So with a two overall.

All righty. So I'm not going to be using this right now, but I'm just going to kind of like using it in the background in the future. We'll be using this sort of like inter interludes, but maybe something goes wrong with the engines or maybe you have a visitor on your ship or something, but it seems like your guys is smooth navigation or I'm sorry. Well, not so much with navigation, but smooth sort of ride through the sector towards drain or goes pretty well after a bit.

Is anyone check on the rush? I'll check on the rush. I've got to go down to the boner and get a new ass. Okay.

Yep. As it's listed in the ships manifest the bone zone. I can check on her when I go down and do that. Okay.

You go to the door. You just sort of like see it's locked though. I saw her knocked out right? Yeah.

So did she like her own door or did someone like the door for her? They walked onto the ship, but it looked like that she just went back here and locked herself in. You're assuming she was tired from what had happened. I'm just going to assume she just needs to recover from getting beat up or whatever.

So I'm just going to keep on walking. If she wants to lock her door, she can lock her door. Do me a favor real quick. Roll me a will.

Okay. You know he has zero will. Yeah. That's a one.

But as far as you walk away, you get this weird tingle in the back of your head. Go ahead and increase your will by three for the next scenes. Okay. Wow.

My head's on fire. It feels great. My brain is crackling. I think even as a bone star returns, you see the it's very bright.

The bone star's son is actually a lot brighter than what it used to be. I got myself a fresh ass and I feel like a new man. With your fresh ass and your new manliness, you guys continue on to her drain door and it seems to be relatively smooth. Like I said before, next we go to Mirage.

You've been sort of a ways since the last mission. The last mission in which you and Shams sort of went down to the planet of Hexadari 5. Went inside and found Shams long lost. Brother, cousin, you're not exactly sure.

It was one of his other species, you know, one of his species, or similar one of himself. So you went back onto the ship. You sort of secluded yourself in your room and decided to go down for a rest, an app, something to sort of like recuperate yourself. You find yourself at rest, sort of recuperate from what happened before.

And you find yourself dreaming, your mind's sort of wandering. One of your very first dreams is sort of a memory recollection of your time with the veers as a military group. Tell me about one of the times in which your group faced hardship that you didn't believe they could get through, but did. You had a very large group.

We don't have to get into specific details. I just want to know what happened. Why did you think you couldn't survive? We had gotten pinned down and we couldn't get through to high command.

We were trapped, we were outnumbered, outgunned, and granted this a situation that we had been prepped for. But it was more of a, if you're in the situation and there's no way you're going to get out, it is better for you to keep the enemy from getting any information about the veers. So, Maraj assumed that was going to be the only way out. So it was either stand and fight and force your way out or make sure that no one could ever punch your bodies again.

Yes, and a lot of the war pack had been hurt. There were a few that were completely out gold. So to drag them through hostile enemy lines and fight, it just seemed like all of the odds were against us. What happened?

What changed or did Maraj just push through? Maraj doesn't really remember. I think that was the first time that Maraj used her abilities to their full power. And she got so, she doesn't remember what happens.

And then she just knows that one minute they were completely pinned down, completely hopeless. And then she felt this tingling in the back of her head. And then the next thing she knows, they are getting, and the next thing she knows, they are getting onto a transport ship and getting off planet. And anytime she would ask the rest of the war pack, no one would tell her what happened.

That's going to be awfully tough, especially whenever you're getting debriefed and being asked what happens by, your sort of higher commanders as they're sort of interrogating you and you won't, or you can't tell them what happened. Yeah. I think even then that the viewers have techniques to sort of extract things from people's minds. That's sort of their MO.

But even the techniques they used against you didn't seem to come through. I think they did, but even high command wouldn't tell Maraj what it was. So I think somewhere out there, there is some kind of report about what happened, but Maraj never seen that Maraj still doesn't know what happened. You get recollections of this, not sort of what happened that you don't remember, but a point leading up to it.

You remember feeling that sort of tingle in the back of your mind. But as this happens, your perspective shifts. And you are in a different location. You feel different.

You're sort of sitting in this large marble-esque chair and all around you. You seem to be in a building made completely of stone. It's hard and rough, but the pattern is on the wall, sort of that marble where that dark line's between the wall. The line appears through it all around you.

There's carvings sort of like feel-a-gree on the walls as well. When you look around and it feels familiar, it feels like home. You recognize the places where you and friends play. And then you look down at what you were eating and you realize that these hands are not yours.

And then you realize that these hands are yours. And then you hear a scream from outside. A friend doesn't trouble what you do. I immediately get up and grab the closest thing that could be used as a weapon and run outside.

So you run out towards the door as you're sort of frantically looking around. You, on the way out, you grab next to the doorway. Just a pile of tools here, sort of farming supplies that you have a small garden outside. You grab one of them and you run outside.

And you see a large, you know, a decently sized garden patch with a white fence made of marble shaped well. And you see pressed against it one of the marble pillars, these marble fence struck through one of your own. This woman that has alabaster skin, red, sort of tangly hair, very thick with ropes and drapes down. And you see blood start gushing through her chest.

As you see four, five, six, large, insect-like creatures on six legs. Two arms would come out like praying mantises. There are large, yellow eyes staring down at her. And you become angry at this because this is your friend that is being pale.

What do you do? Mirage would first reach for her powers to try and control the creatures. You reach out towards the creatures with your abilities, but it feels different. It doesn't feel the same as what you had before.

Some of them turn to you, but you realize that you've tried this before and these creatures have no, they have no minds to control. You need something more, you need something more tangible to grab a hold of. Then I would run forward and attack them. So you run forward and you swing out with this weapon that you had before, but they seem to be backstepping you.

You're swinging and you're getting surrounded by these creatures, these things. And as you swing, you sort of miss the hoe that you grabbed is just passing in front of their faces. And you feel their blades sort of start to sink into you as they attack you one at a time. And you go down to one knee and then two.

And then your dream fades. As you guys get closer to the planet, some of the sort of United Colonies, like police military sort of hail you guys. One of them is just sort of like comes on the radio. A designation caucus.

What's your business in this section? You guys don't really want me to do the exact idea? Oh, shit. Our face is out of commission.

A designation caucus. What is your business in this section? It's just the routine thing. Oh, shit.

Fucking bone start. What? I'm just hanging out, man. Don't stop.

What are you doing here? I think we have to go in for work. What was it again? Yeah, we're we're investigating.

We're going to be going towards Dry Noir to be able to get in touch with some of the workforce. Okay. Contracting job. All right.

Drain or someone get a better insurance policy on drain or. Kind of rude. Hey, every time you come here, bone starts, something gets blown up. Okay.

People want to try and blow me up all the time. You know, it's good fun. All right. Wait a second.

Is that spankens? Didn't I do some some contract work for you also? I mean, I'm not talking about this. This is a public channel.

Okay. I'm everything I did was all above board officer. Yeah, that's right. Just as a personal job.

Yeah, it's okay. That's okay. All right. Now, you guys are free to pass.

It's on the side of the sector. You guys know what I'm assuming you guys know what drain noise. Come on. I'll let the workforce know you're coming.

Okay. Thank you. All right. So you guys are heading into the system itself.

You guys see drain or it's sort of this a large ish sort of red and black planet. You see like very large installations, sort of like these cities, but like mega cities in these of round of rings on the planet. Most of the planet is habitable, but it was no longer that way anymore. It seems like pollution is sort of set into it for the most part.

But you also know that underneath drain or is sort of like this under like there's the crush to the planet and then underneath it. There is sort of this underground mega city. And as you guys go closer to it, we switch over to Akita. Okay.

Akita, you're on one of your most recent jobs. This is probably not the best one that you've probably been on. This one gets paid decently, but it's really annoying because you have to deal with some children. Oh, fun.

There is a local chapter of one of the schools and they have gone on a field trip. You're sort of there as bodyguard as these kids go on this field trip. You sort of like see the school bus in the distance. There is this large playground slash museum that they have gone to.

There is also one of the workforce there with you named schoolwork properly enough and they sort of like walk up to you. They're a pro-roshian actually. Pro-roshian sort of like they almost look like a substitute teacher in a way. And she walks up to you and she has like a little clipboard.

She's like marking it all off. Thank you so much Akita for coming here. The kids love you and they seem to be having a great time. Okay, and then you have a little take run away.

Okay. And then one of these little pro-roshian types start running away and starts going on the playground again. The schoolwork looks back to you and she says they really do seem to enjoy your company here. Sorry about the weird job.

We didn't really have anything as of late. It's fine. As long as I get paid. If you will, you will.

Any news on your search? Not really. I did hear about these night guys. I don't know.

They work at night or something. They might have something. I'm not sure who you're talking about. Night's going.

It's very good for you. If you want to go back to school. There's a lot more things you can sort of like lean into. If you want to do that, just let me know.

And she sort of like turns to the kids and starts running them up to go back on the bus. But as you do, you see from across the way, an interesting site. One of your species is sort of walking down the street. Sort of like tapping at a data pad.

I'm going to walk up to them and see if I recognize them. As you walk up to them, you don't seem to recognize their face in any way. But when they look up, they sort of see a flash of recognition towards you. And they sort of look around.

They're sort of tall. They're not as big as you are. But they are pretty decently sized. He sort of looks into the data pad and looks back up to you.

Is there something I can help you with? No, it's just surprising to see another bike in out here. Yes. He sort of like takes a furtive glance down at his data pad again.

It looks back up at you. Row me empathy. All right. I guess I'll plus two.

So be up one. Definitely looks a little nervous. You see his ears. He sort of looks like a dush hound.

What's a dush hound? Dush hound. He's got these long ears. But you see that they're actually sort of hiked a little bit.

He definitely looks on alert, but you're not really sure why. You feeling okay, man? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just a guy get to the work day, you know, start the work day.

Sort of like does whoo. I got one. Brad's. Did you just say Wolf as a dog person, Cody?

I did. He looks behind you at the kids. Looks back at you. Oh.

So the teacher? Kind of more of a chaperone. A shepherd. Shut down.

Look. I'm eating myself. Oh, God. He's done well.

He sort of nervously looks around. I guess I'll get going. I'll leave you to watching the kids. All right.

And he starts walking off down the street. Oh, no, I'm just going to leave. Okay. So you kind of get on the space school bus, the magic school bus that this will work out.

Keep calling it and you basically take the kids back to. You basically take the kids back to their school, but after a bit, you actually get a ping sort of like on one of your communication devices in one of your contacts. Says that your name has actually popped up recently on sort of like the underground pack, community like relays. Fun.

Okay. So maybe not to talk to this ranger. I'm just going to kind of ignore it for now. I mean, I know we'll pop up there occasionally, but I mean, he doesn't like care too much right now.

Yeah. So you guys make it back to the school. So the schoolwork sort of like puts the kids back in the classroom and whatnot. Thanks you profecially.

Transfers the credits into your account. And she asks, do you want to ride back to HQ? That'd be nice. Yeah.

Thanks. And the two of you will ride back to HQ. Schoolwork doesn't have it's almost like a really like broken down spaceship. That she drives back to school.

Even back to HQ, even in outer space, guys, teachers aren't paid enough. Okay. Just for warning. Damn, he went there.

I did go there. Very hard. But as soon as you get back to the workforce, you guys, you have like your own little apartment building setup in the HQ and whatnot. They treat you pretty well.

But it seems like you're free to do whatever you would like for the rest of the night. What does Akita usually do with his free time? I feel like he'd probably like do some research, like look into see if you can find any new information. If not, then he'll probably just start looking for more jobs and maybe just work out train.

Okay. Go ahead and do me a quick, either a lower or a will roll. I'll do will. Okay.

That's a wash. So I got minus one on the dice and plus one will. So you don't get much of anything. Most of what you get is actually just an email from your brother who says he's got a new and upcoming idol.

That's probably going to make a sweeping like a sweeping declaration here soon. So keep your ears open for that. He's just like constantly. This is the big time.

This is the big shot. We're gonna get back into everything. Okay. We're gonna be in gamble trotless by no time.

Like we will get into the major big leagues, but that seems to be it. If anything else you're doing with your time or you probably wander around or if you're like you said, if you're working out. Probably work out for a bit and then just go outside, lay down on the grass. Okay.

So you just let's how he likes to relax after working out. I like it. I like the image of just like this this huge ass building that just says like the workforce on it, but like out in the very, very front where like all the stuff is parked. There's like this sort of decent plot of grass with a bunch of trees and you just like sort of lay down right in the middle of it starts like that.

As that sort of like sees you, the shot sort of like pans goes like starts zooming out into the atmosphere until we have the carcass and the carcass is landing. You guys gonna land at the HQ or you'll land somewhere else in the city? Probably somewhere else in the city. So we wander around a little bit first.

Okay. Preferably wherever parking is cheapest. I will keep that in mind. So yeah, you guys sort of like head to a sort of like a cheap space parking garage, park your ship there and start heading out.

Like just skyscrapers everywhere. There's like sparse plants, plant life here. They're just like city streets, neon lights and everything. It is very intense.

There's a lot of private eyes everywhere. Every other corner has a private eye on like a private eye advertisement on it. There are like brothels and whatnot. This is not a place for kids for sure.

Bonstar's gonna reach out and go la la la. Welcome to the shithole. It sucks. It stinks, but at least the sewers are big.

How does the sewers are what? The sewers are big. It looks like there's a lot of places that you can get to get your bones polished also. I haven't seen a single bone doctor.

Anywhere specific you guys want to go or you're just wondering around the city? Maybe go to the local speakeasy. See if you can pick up some news on what's going on on the planet. See if lattice work is is indeed in town and if there's any trouble going on around them?

Well, if you guys can't go to the local speakeasy, there's some different species there drinking and having a good time. On the news, you sort of like see in like they have multiple screens up everywhere. And one of the screens that you actually see a update on the siege of Yaya June, the coolest homeworld, where there seems to be a gigantic ghost planet who is slowly sort of like in its orbit and slowly approaching the planet of Yaya June. You talk to some of the other people in the place that speak easy to give me a rapport.

If you're gonna like maybe ask around about lattice work. That will be a flat roll for me. So this may be entertaining. Is anyone else going to be checking in also?

Well, I was planning to, but I also got a flight zero. Then plus one. Plus one. They mostly the guys that you talk to are most of the species that you talk to are just sort of giving you general information about like, oh, the workforce, yeah, they're up there.

I don't know lattice work personally, but this isn't usually his joint. Ooh, I just realized something. Should I have rolled contacts instead of rapport because I have contacts at plus one at least? Yeah, sure.

I would say you can have that in then. Okay, so that makes it a mighty two. I'm willing to spend a fate point to tag gets the job done, no matter the cost, to kind of reflect that I've done work with these kinds of people before. Maybe not directly the lattice work or them, but like people in their general circle.

Just to drive it up to a four so we can drive the story along. Mostly the general information about like, oh, you know, workforce lattice work. Oh, last work is a one of the higher up people. But one thing you do get is he actually goes, he's frequent, he doesn't frequent this week easy, but he does frequent a place called the crisscross conclave.

But it's sort of like exclusive, but other than that, they kind of just give you the information. If you just want to go up to the workforce and ask for lattice work, you usually can't just do that unless you want to talk to him in private and the system sort of like under thing. Lattice work is not known for that, but lattice work does what you do. Shyam, I'm wondering, are you talking to anybody?

You just sort of like, no, I think Shyam's just overwhelmed by the state of the planet. Okay, it's kind of standing and probably especially you. There's actually quite a few people who sort of like, stare at you for a little bit as you walk by. There's probably like one Victorian woman who sort of like stops you and says, are you those walking trees that they've been developing to help with the atmosphere around?

I didn't realize it. I just brought pasta. Just not giving out the time of time. She kind of like looks back at another Victorian woman.

She goes, can you believe that Maurice? The nerve. But as you guys are in the species, one other thing does pop up as well as the sort of siege of Yaya June. There seems to be an old cyber-currier system found that sort of like has the old like very, very old first contact like system stations that they would be set up in order to contact across like across galaxies.

And apparently it has just been recently located. Most of the old cyber-currier systems you guys would know that like they used to, it was basically the old internet back in the day before like the species could actually talk to one another. They set up this courier system to actually like transport information, but it would usually take like a few years because FTL hadn't been like fully developed yet. But it seems like this one might actually contain more than just like, you know, old portraiture and like tumbler and space tumbler and like space Twitter in the trash.

Some people think that actually might be a sort of like a repository for a lot of information where like a lot of governments of these species would talk together. So people are very interested in this. Ooh, that's, we're going to make a note of that in the quest log of geez, I need to try to hack into that and get some of that info. That could be good pay data and belongs in a museum.

It's currently being, it was taken by the Octomains and they are currently kind of working on it at one of the tachery, octomina worlds. Oh, is this the great Octomine library? No, it's different. So they're trying to get a not as great Octomine library going.

They probably wouldn't add it to the library if anything. Octomains are very like give all of it to us and then store it somewhere. Like chipmunks with nuts only it's info and there are more tentacles. Alright, so where are you guys headed?

I'm going to head up to the bar and give a couple drinks to everybody. Okay. And I'm going to ask the bartender if there's any sort of competition I can do that'll put my photo on the wall. You have a large sandwich?

This large, big, Korean bartender just sort of like makes a few drinks for you and looks over to the wall. You actually see a few notables here. There's actually a picture of what you see as a dog. Not Akita.

You know what, Akita, would you frequent bars, do you think? I might go once or twice if somebody from the workforce asked him. I don't think he would frequent bars. Oh fuck.

Someone from the workforce has definitely been here. Hold on. Oh yeah, you see a bunch of people up there. Gampel Man is actually up there.

It's sort of like framed and has its own place on the wall. But there's a bunch of random people up there too. He's going to play an actual Gampel Man guy. At least no one better than that piece of shit.

The Vigorian slams down a few drinks he's been making for you. You're not insulting Gampel Man in this establishment are you? Oh shit. Gampel Man, I've heard good things about that dude.

From who? Like he's the champion of Gampel Droppolas. Yeah, he's the champion. All right.

He's the champion of, I don't know, not doing things well. If you go in shakes his head, you have no idea what you're talking about. Just take your drinks. If you want to do the challenge, you can.

What I'm saying, you just have to eat the garbage plate special that my friend back there is. You should mix up. Hell yeah. Throw me in the garbage, baby.

Garbage plate special, you say. You want to get on in this too? I mean, hell, it may actually work for my physiology for being able to digest stuff. So always, always willing to try new things.

Okay, so I'll bring them the drinks at the table. I'll have one for Morgan, one for Sean, just say, hey, we might as well just eat like the locals here for a second. Catch a breath. We don't need to be going everywhere, zoom in as fast as possible.

The whole point of driving around is enjoying ourselves. For the record, this is more for a more adrenaline junkie aspect than lighting a keto style. Sorry about that. I just realized that.

Oh, that's one of their aspects. Oh crap. So, you see the big horn go to the back. He taps on this little glass case and you see a, oh God, forgetting names of mine, species again, theoressops.

Large theoressops in the back. And you see them just sort of putting a bunch of random stuff together. You see them take the grill and scrape all the grease off and put it on a plate. And then they sort of like dump it into the, like scrape it off into this bowl that has a bunch of weird fruit from a bunch of different locations in it.

And then they start taking the go out and they start taking drinks off of the bar, putting them in this bowl and they put it into what you guys recognize as a dehydrator. And they dehydrate it out of all of the moisture out of it. They take it back out and they mix it up. You see them bake it for like an instant bake for like 10 minutes and they bring you both out this like cake that says like not happy birthday, but like a sort of like a happy birth, it's like a happy cycle, the cycle day or something.

Happy life day. Happy life day. Yeah. And they just put it in front of you and they just, he backs away and says you got 20 minutes.

Oh, that won't be a problem at all. He just grabbed it immediately shoved it into his face and atomized it. Yeah. At first Cody, I thought that you were going with a poutine kind of thing, but I'm okay with absurd Greece cake fruit, fruit cake thing because Morgan is a hungry boy.

Okay. So bone stars, whole situation is affected by whatever he's consuming. How does eating this make me feel? You think in my back he has a three to will right now.

Yeah, I'm very willful right now. I've got a lot of starch in my shorts. So, Morg, I need a physique role. Bone star, you feel like just hyper is shit.

You just want to get things done and you feel very like someone gave you some Adderall. Like you're hyper focused. So, so I got a five for my physique because I rolled plus three. Yeah, you're you like, you just like scarf it down.

All of it's gone. Sean, you see this like, you see bone star eat this thing. You see Morg just like shovel this cake ish thing into his mouth and like you see Morg turns like a brighter shade of green and then like immediately stops and Morg, this feels like sort of like a depression for you. Oh, and I think at this point before someone throws up, we're going to switch back over to Akita.

I can't even laying out here in the sun for a little bit. And you see some of the workforce people they just started like milling about. Some of them have taken lunch already of this sort of like towards the end of the day. But one of them sort of comes out to you, someone that you recognize.

As soon as I figure out where they are at, you recognize someone known as needlework. And it is sort of this octamine and sort of like a full black bodysuit with like blue pinstripes down the sides and they sort of like on there. They try to look humanoid in a way, but they sort of like squirm over to you. Even though this person to be actually where a lot of your information comes from.

But they sort of like look down at you and they sort of like warble at you. What are you doing Akita? Just like to lay out here, get warm after I work out. Are you done for the day?

I've wanted to go home, but I'm too lazy just to go straight there. I kind of want to go do something fun. We want to go get a drink, maybe something to eat. I'd be interested in seeing you drink.

Do you take alcohol well? Eh, deal with it fine. I know a place. And that's how we get the party together because as you and needlework kind of like walk in, you notice there seems to be sort of this commotion about there's like a whole crowd of people gather around a table with two beings, three beings that you've never seen before.

And the entire crowd is just like just chaining barf barf barf barf barf like staring at Morgan trying to get into barf bone start. You have already completed. You're done. I'm going to stand up on the table and start pointing at Morgan screaming barf for the audience.

Make these people happy. Uh, Cody. What? I'm going to invoke my fast healer ability.

So I will initially take a mild physical consequence from eating this horrendous thing presumably, but then I can clear a mild physical consequence as my action for the round. Okay. Just to kind of justify Mark looking like he's about to work and then he just kind of tenses up and punches himself in the stomach. And people think that he's doing that to try to force himself to vomit, but really it's forcing his digesting to kick into high gear.

And he just howls at the sky like, I will not puke. That's the worst of that food. Give me a rapport roll to see if you can arrive at the crowd. Uh, would provoke work?

Uh, yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, that is a four for provoke.

Like, yeah, yeah, the entire crowd once I say you do this, scream out loud, not wasting good food. Like they all of them start like booing, but it's that sort of like wrestling boo. Like, aw, you fuck like they start screaming at you and the vaguarian comes over and takes a picture of you both sort of like more. You're doing it mid-screen bone star.

It's bone star on the table and he sort of goes over and puts the pictures on the wall. Uh, Akita, you come into this and needlework is next to you and he's just sort of doing like, uh, sort of like a kick, kick, like laughing at this is you. Kick, kick, kick, kick, kick, kick, kick, kick. I'm going to talk to Neil work.

I'm going to say I can't believe idiots actually eat that garbage. It's a supposedly a test of strength, but I've got some things that they could eat that would make them sick for, well, sick from sick for cycles. Just don't try to slip any of that in my food. You see them look over with their one big eye and they sort of shake it.

Never Akita. We don't mess with the workforces own. And he leads you over and he buys you a decent drink. Like a pretty, not like an expensive one, but like a decent expensive one.

Alright, I'll drink it. So I think after a bit, the crowd sort of like calms down a little bit. The Victorian has sort of like a apologize to you guys. It's sort of like, alright, alright, you guys can be here.

I just know what we're talking about about the implement, okay? Uh, don't start. Uh, does not respond to the question. His head flies off and he's just flying around the ceiling laughing to himself.

Ha ha ha ha. He's actually laughing his head off. He said he was hyper. True.

He's going to look to the shaman morgue. Uh, can you calm him down? Uh, to be honest, it all depends on what he dressed ate. So, uh, do you have anything?

Okay, this is a shot in the dark. Do you have any GTAN Putin? He's like in Narrows' eyes. I don't think that's regulated.

Not yet, my dude. Not yet. But I mean, oh wait, no crap, that wouldn't work on him because he just got more energy from burning all of the fat and calories in it instead of getting less. Do you have a whole crapload of space celery?

I think we can, I think we can figure something out. I'll get something from the back. Uh, you. Okay, it's all anti-calorie, so that should work.

He shakes his head. Uh, do you want anything? Uh, uh, uh, plant just the drink's fine. Okay.

Alright. Uh, he sort of like slaps the table and leaves. Uh, he walks back over and he does another round of drinks for needlework and whatnot. Uh, bone stars, you're sort of like going around, uh, the top of this place.

Uh, make me a athletics defencil. Okay. Um, holy shit. Uh, seven.

Uh, you see this Octomaine at- Oh wait, sorry, no, you said this. Sorry, you said athletics and not fight. Uh, three. I think that's probably the same.

Uh, you see this Octomaine, uh, reach up and try to grab your skull as you're sort of like going around the, uh, like, laughing your head off. Yeah, supposedly. Oh, yeah. Try as a reach up and grab your skull.

That's fine. You can do that. Are you gonna let him do that? Yeah, I'm making friends.

Okay, he's gonna snatch you down from the sky and sort of like put you on the table and sort of like, like, his little eye. It's like, you, it's probably like a, the size of like a basketball and sort of like narrows and looks at you. What are you doing? You're making a lot of noise.

I have a lot of fun. I had a really great food. Uh, like it sort of like narrows some more. Oh, god damn it.

Bone star. Mm-hmm. What are you doing here? I have a lot of fun.

There's a, there's a good food here. There's a good drink. There's a good company. Everyone loves the vomit.

You see out of like one of the tentacles, you see like some mechanical devices come out and there's like several vials and he pours into your son. He's going to try to pour into your son a drop of some chemical. Bring on the chemicals big boy. Uh, as soon as it hits the surface of your son, it starts to burn.

Okay. This is a, an intriguing sensation. It hurts like hell. Yeah, is it a good bird or a bad bird?

It's a bad bird. Oh. He's gonna look over at a kita. You see, this is a very special type of species here.

Bone star here is a 4g-in. Their chemical composition is very intricate. But if you add the right chemicals to it, you can change a lot of things. And he's going to drop another little thing of chemicals into it.

And your son's gonna turn blue. He's gonna let out a little scream and then go, this is awesome. I haven't felt pain in 150 years. Hey, uh, hey Cody.

What? What morgue necessarily noticed that some person is pouring concoctions into bone stars some? Um, I would say yes. It is, it is just a bar and he was laughing, but now he's no longer not screaming.

I haven't felt pain like this in 150 years across the bar. Yeah, I'm gonna go over and say, uh, yeah, excuse me, Kesca fuck. What the hell are you doing to my boss? Me and my friend here, Kita, were just having a discussion about 4g-in anatomy.

Yeah, uh, could you not go with the visceral anatomy lessons? Your heart should not buzz over here, fuck wad. I apologize. He's gonna sort of like look you up and down with his large eye.

Where do you come from? morgue is just going to grin and say, oh, what do you like to know? What, you want to try to pour a whole bunch of shit into me? You see one of the tentacles, uh, produces more mechanical like arms and vials start coming out?

I mean, I'm down for anything if you pay me enough, but... And, uh, what about you, uh, Mr. Husky Person? Are you okay with your friend just randomly poisoning people?
