I don't know I've known g for a long time Yeah, I went there rough stuff feeling wounded anyway So I would like one of our players to let us know what happened in the last episode of the next night So we can all be caught up and up to date on does anybody not want to what happened last episode is the Team got an invite from Akita's brother Majima to visit the robo wrestling planet where giant mechs wrestle each other on TV during this episode He both Akita and sham meet their gods Topio the finish got of the forest who's promised to help sham bring his species back to life and Akita has met Amaterasu The Japanese god of the Sun in the creation who has been injured and is asking for his protection Marages backstage making plans with her god zixis the leader of an organized crime cartel and they're making schemes Akita agrees to wrestle for charity during the charity wrestling match Akita is asked to kill the other wrestler in order to pop the ratings and when he refuses to do so his brothers life and his life are threatened He deals with this problem by punching his robot in the stomach and causing it to explode Shama is trying to meet up with his new friend Ismay a pop idol from beyond the stars when he realizes that she's been captured by giant corporation security forces And their leader sheriff funkmaster a horrible at star child when they try to rescue her she gets off scott free But they are violently apprehended by the sheriff and his army of robo cops Something to add though is that uh the pop star is the same race as shama. Yes So it was I like a weird homecoming love story almost That's so sweet.
I love that didn't she have some book too. That was important Yeah, basically they can contact the god by using the book and this Akita can also contact his god by using the sword Whereas poor amarages stuck with using her brain So what happened after everybody was arrested? It's kind of a montage of everybody being you know shackled and whatnot and they have power restrictions on them and whatnot But the prisoners are sold to a prisoner barge that comes by the planets to pick up prisoners and buys them So everybody is transported to a ship and then this takes a little bit of time So everybody's all healed up, but everybody's transported to a ship and marched through the through the ship Is anybody going to do anything while you're being marched through the ship kind of a single fly line? I like to imagine that you all like mirages it there and then all of a sudden she is I'll just well like in the back of the line just like hey, I've been here the whole time no um Just sort of like right next to sham Okay, all right, so you end up right there with them Yeah, you're kind of beamed up to a ship that's passing by the planet you do get a glimpse of the ship before your beams to it The ship is very very large.
It's got a large floating cube near the front of it Kind of in kind of a like a floating position But it's kind of there's like large pieces of the ship kind of surrounding it and there's also a big circle Section in the middle of the ship, but it's very very enormous I'm going to broadcast to the entire crew. How the fuck did you all get in this mess you watch me get into this no I was It was like I was backstage trying to make a business deal and next thing I know you all get arrested what the fuck It's the tree I said it's the tree the tree sprung a root for a pop star and fucked us all over Alright everyone is beamed to the ship single file and you're walked through rows of cells This looks like a large prison ship and there's a plenty of people in the cells It does not look super well maintained and the guards on the ship are variety of races They don't seem to even have like a uniform and they have kind of mixed matched weapons as well And a lot of the the guards that are leading you through seem rough and tumble They'd look like brigands and just not not real well kept inside is there any company symbols anything like that as far as where we're actually at It looks like they're used to be company symbols But they've all been defaced with like a spray painting symbol of a couple of letters in the language You don't know is the symbol familiar even though like we can't read what it says it is not no But it's spray painted over all the other like company symbols and everything that seem to be defaced It looks like there is like some sort of mutiny or something that took so like whatever whoever ran the ship before no longer does So kind of high ready. Yeah, kind of you get you're really getting that piratey feel as someone who has ties to the criminal background and stuff Can I roll something to see if I have heard of the ship overall and then anything that may have happened on the ship to change Chance absolutely. Yeah, absolutely go for it Well, what would you like me to roll roll?
Lore unless you can pitch me a different skill that you would tie to your criminal background How about contacts that works? Yep, you can roll that you can know a guy that knew a guy plus two on the dice plus one contacts for a three Alright, yeah, you have seen this symbol before vaguely some people are pretty afraid of it You know that there was a prison ship that belonged to a specific planet that kind of used the ship to orbit the planet and keep prisoners So they weren't on planet of course long long ago There was a prison break and it got taken over by the prisoners But then you've heard that one of the former guards retook the ship after the prisoners took it and has been traveling from planet to planet Buying prisoners and they call him just the warden I will relay all of this information through the psychic link and then say so that's what we're dealing with so we just got bought cool So you guys are led to a large room It looks almost like a throne room, but like a mix between a throne room and an office So not so opulent but not so business like either and there's a lot of guards around and one very large alien sitting in a chair He's about nine feet tall. He's got three eyes four arms He's like a deep blue and he's got like a black outfit on and you guys are all lined up in front of him And the room is kind of silent for a little while he just kind of is looking back and forth and looking at you all I'm gonna raise a single Paul still like shackled hello I'm gonna put it back down He looks at you. Are you all ready for judgment?
Excuse me more only God can judge me There are no gods here bring me the papers and one of the Other aliens brings a bunch of documents and he starts going through them silently It's really awkward and quiet as you're sitting here waiting for him. He's going through a bunch of documents Mirage starts humming a song she heard one time while taking control of bone star and it sounds and it sounds like a careless whisper But slightly off because it's through the bones Okay, I need you to roll me a notice That is a Minus one on the dice so that would be a plus one overall You hear like a something off in the the side of the room and out of the corner of your eye You see that all of your gear has been gathered and some of the the guards are going through it and one of the guards It kind of looks like a weird spider person. He picks up your sword Get your hands off that he's like oh, this is nice And he kind of straps it to a side and they keep going through all your shit Eventually the guy that you assume is the ward and says none of you are particularly dangerous You're all to the cube and then the guards are shuffling you in a different direction as they're kind of shuffling us away I'm just going to cry out like that's mine. It's very sentimental.
It was handed down Can I at least just have my bag you see there's nothing in it? It means a lot to me One of the guards it looks kind of like a like a you'll snake kind of gets really close your face He's like you can earn your sentimental items back if you do well in the fights Please it's like a security blanket. He'll just bitch and moan the whole time if he doesn't have it It's just like it's gonna be better for everyone Well, I like when you pitch and moan so it's not better for me. You're not gonna like him keep going keep going and The guards keep shuffling you by Are they still paying attention to The actual bag or anything They kind of have it in a pile off to the side They're like sifting through for stuff that they want and they just kind of threw into the pile of stuff They don't seem to want but it's kind of like in a in a bin that they're gonna That you'd assume they're gonna take somewhere else because on wheels Okay as we pass by can I wait until people aren't looking and then try to Dreddy's Delkeneseses to bring it over to us I'd like you to roll at least a stealth to try to see if you can do it without anyone noticing Okay, I'll roll a stealth and then a will for the actual like to tell canesus part is that okay?

My will is also a plus four you are able to pull it over to you before anyone notices because that was a very good Stealth, are you gonna you're gonna hide it on yourself then? Yeah, they escort you back through some of the cell areas and then you come to a large door that opens up into space and You see in the distance the large cube is kind of spinning and it locks into place where there's a portal on the other side of this Door the bridge extends up to the cube and the door opens and they lead you through well They don't even lead you through they point a cannon down the down the bridge and they're like get on get into the cube All right, all right, and I head towards the cube go on.
Oh, yeah They're kind of pushing at you get on get the cube does everybody go to the cube Excuse me more Mm-hmm. What I would like my one phone call, please. We don't do that You should have had your one phone call on the planet if they didn't give it to you. That's not a responsibility Fucking bureaucracy Inside the cube it seems like gravity is on every side of it and this is this very very large Cube there's like some buildings and stuff on some of the walls and the floors and you can wander around freely in here And there's a bunch of aliens they all look like prisoners because they don't have anything else But there's like others a mess hall on one of the walls Bones are rolling a notice.

What I mean, there's the whole process of asking for pardon I mean you you you have to fight the warden, but he's he's not a pushover If I the warden doesn't have to be one on one You know what I never really asked that because that dude is tough. I've seen his kind before there They've got a wide range of abilities that Quite scary so I mean you could do that or wait for your fights or come up with some other daring whatever up to you Dude, what happens if we go to the fights then what like how do we get out? Are they just gonna lock us in a room like this or what? I mean you probably keep getting locked back in the cube as you're as you guys fight each other or fight other prisoners And then as you move up the ranks improve yourself you then swear loyalty become a guard I mean that might take a couple years if you're willing to you know compromise yourself and then you become a guard Do what you can to try to escape and then hopefully the warden doesn't crush your head when you leave That seems like the plan most of the people here are going with Nobody well, then you're in my shoes.

Well, I mean really what's the risk they find out they throw us into some fights. They don't find out They throw us in some fights.

It's a seven You blast a big chunk of ground out. It seems like you're maybe a third of the way through I'm gonna keep going then if nothing else happens. Okay, so you're currently down one number So yeah anything else until the morning and the other teammates that you want to prematurely kill As far as I'm concerned now The time comes and you guys are escorted to the arena area When you get to the arena area you notice all of your stuff is piled on one side of the arena The opposite side from which you come in and uh standing in front of all your stuff is the warden When one of the guards comes in he says down this hall that we just came through if you go straight There's a skate pods and on the other side of him is your stuff. You can decide what's more important getting your stuff or getting out of here That's uh that's up to you. I kind of need my shit I'm thinking my shit So then the guards get out of your way and he's standing there and there's like a A bunch of the guards it kind of in bleachers around and they're kind of like yelling and throwing shit at you Distract him and I'll try and sneak around and collect all of our shit And then we'll be good to go I think we can get that covered Of course, I'm gonna rush at the warden and scream at him.
You cannot handle bone slog. You don't know what the fuck you're doing dude The first person to act is quiver. We're gonna put my hand on a beetle guy and ask him how hard of a hit can actually take I don't know it's pretty hard Can you get me to the other side of this arena? Stay at the wall and I can position myself between him and the wall and start making a run to try and get around Yeah All right, so stack he's gonna he's gonna like try to run around and cover you forager.
It is your turn Uh, I would like to look at this around and see if the sea guards have thrown anything useful Uh mostly run fruit. Uh, I can work with that I would pick it up Okay, so you're just gonna turn picking up rotten fruit. Yes foraging it if you will Uh, sham Okay, I am going to run at the warden and use my body morph to try and hold him still roll what you're all for that Uh, that is a five a five. Okay, you roll the five you grabbed him with a five bone star is your turn Okay, I'm gonna rush towards him at full speed.
I know that my job is to distract. So I'm trying to get as much attention as I can on Uh should like a fight or yeah fight. Yeah, um, I got a five And I'm gonna say out loud while I'm going in all right. Uh, it's like now's the time to be heroic and make a noble sacrifice That's what a real hero does.
I do it all the time. All right. I'm putting slog back on to the the lineup That is not what he wants to do. Okay, so Akita, not as your turn.
Akita is gonna take a defensive stance This fight and he is actually going to run up after bone star and try and just claw the warden in the face All right, go for it Minus one on the dice. So that'd be a plus three You give him a claw to the face Uh, mirage is your turn I really hope I don't get the rest of the crew kill I'm going to try and stealth run over to the stuff and I'm going to use my hidden from the mine's eye stunt Okay, plus two to stealth when traveling alone. So that's a plus three on the dice Uh plus two stealth plus two from my stunt. So that's a seven total So you are stealthing around the other side the opposite side that quiver and stagger running or sassa frass or whatever you want to call Sort of like I'm not hugging the wall, but I'm like going around So after mirage is slog slog is not okay with any kind of noble sacrifice He jumps off of bone star sails across the arena and attaches to professor perfect The orange robot with buzz saws also runs up to the warden and attacks And he hits it with a buzz saw but it doesn't seem to cut through his warden's tough skin Professor perfect now taking over by slog turns around and runs towards the escape pods Now now it is the warden for warden's first turn He breaks out of shams Morphin hole because I like branches come out of the ground right grab him He just kind of breaks out of it and then he I laser sassa frass and kills him Uh, he then grabs bone star by the head bone star.
He rolls a six for fight What do you get? I ended up really a four he grabs your skull head and he's like squeezing it And the cow skull usually where run your son is like cracking Dude, don't be a dick. This is my favorite skull For his fourth and final turn he is going to punch the robot and he punches the robot pretty darn good in the chest And the robot goes flying back and crashes into a wall Um So now we're back up to quiver. It is your turn the beetle guy that you're with it said he could take a hit just got eyelaser to death Yeah one shot.
Yeah Awesome I'm going to Pull an arrow from the quiver and rather than like using the bow to shoot I'm just gonna throw it but I'm going to pull out, uh, basically like a big smoke bomb stealth type arrow So you can't see what's around so I'm just trying to create like an advantage go for it All right So I got a plus three on the throw So you you create an advantage of like like a smoke screen There is a smoke screen that can be used once for a plus two for a journey is your turn You have picked up a like armful a run fruit Oh, uh, I would like to take a Z-fruit and try to shoot some of the juice into his eyes All right, you're trying to fruit juice base attack, uh roll shoot Oh, I'm crying but Satisfied you do create advantage. There is juice in the eye Juice in the eye. There are two uses of it plus two All right, so there's a smoke screen and two juices in his eyes. Cleo's three eyes and only two have juice in it now Uh, I like to shoot Yeah, got a good old juichu.
All right. Shama is your turn right this time I want to try and actually grab him and sort of restrain him Uh plus three All right, uh, you are able to create a plus one plus one advantage of held by branches Bone star I would like to use bone stars ability heat generation to ignite the smoke But I want to I don't want to do it if I know that Akita's gonna hurt Oh, yeah, Akita's right up in it Okay, so I guess in that case what I'm gonna do is try to nudge him out of the way And then start charging my laser and staring at the uh award So you're gonna try to push uh Akita out of the way and I'm gonna say like I got this I'm gonna light him up If you tell him that you're gonna do something up and he'll like back off All right, so it is Akita's turn because bone stars charge in his laser All right then Akita is going to Run around and try and grab his things. Uh since you were close you get to the things on for that turn Um miraj it is your turn So I realize I said that most of my things were probably on the ship But I did say when we got to the planet that I had my guns on me. So um, I'm gonna try and sneak closer to those first Okay, so you roll me another sneak sneak if you're sneaking I am sneaking Uh still using my hidden from the mind's eye so that is a four total You sneak background and at the beginning of your next turn you will be at the stuff The buzz saw robot he shoots three buzz saws from a distance and hits the ward in a couple of times But doesn't seem to do anything the wardens turn he's going to try to break the whole held by branches Uh he gets a four to hold break the held by branches, but that does take one of his turns another turn He's going to squeeze bone star.
He gets a five bone star for a physical attack on me Uh, I'm gonna try to dodge but I ended up rolling a three Okay, so he does two damage to you. Your favorite skull is breaking This son of a bitch is gonna get dunked if he's breaking my shit He's going to shoot a laser one of his eye lasers at quiver Probably use that juice in the eye get a plus two to your dodge and he got an eight for his laser God damn. Okay That's not terrible. Um, so I got a seven on my dodge He blasts a big eyeliner to you and it cinches you it doesn't kill you it doesn't hurt you that bad But it does it does nick you you're grazed Um, and it's a big old powerful eyelizer.
It's spooky. It's scary for his third turn he rushes at the orange robot and Punches him into smithereens and kills him And then we're gonna go back up to the top quiver it is your turn you are at the stuff now So yeah, I'll grab my bow and I'm just going to yell to these guys I think we should just try and get to the pods and I'm going to fire another one of those arrows So shoot them not juice shooting but shoot Uh, I got a five on the shot two more uses of smoke screen because that's what you're shooting, right? Yeah, all right. So there's more smoke.
There's a lot of smoke. I'm looking for a jury. It is your turn Uh, I would like to try to I just see him again. Okay.
Go for more. I choose There's still one use of I choose a left. So Uh, suit, uh, I would like to use a fate point. Okay, so I was a critical failure.
Uh, That is a three. Okay, so you get one more plus one by juice. Oh Juice all right Shum, it is your turn. Uh, you you do hear quivers, uh, please Right, uh, can I just try to hold him down again?
Even if I'm just Uh, that is uh, five this time. All right. Oh wow. He got a bad role.
So you get you got a plus four for holding him I want to use plus four bone star. Can I light up the smoke? Go for it. I want to use all the advantages available All right.
So there's two four six smokes. Um, and then I ended up getting a seven eight eight on my role So you do a 14 and it does it does hit the area and you are in that area Yeah, can I say that um my skeleton like is flown back by the explosion and it's hits a wall and like the bones just scatter everywhere Yeah, so you're just a son. He's holding on to it and it's like a big fireball Yeah, but while I'm I'm sitting there in his face blowing up. I'm gonna look at him and be like Your skeleton looks neat.
I want it when you do that. You notice that that's probably the first thing that he's felt Uh, kita. It is your turn. So I have my stuff.
Is there anybody else's stuff that's left? Uh, roll me a notice There's a plus two So there's there's some odds and ends there is um mirages weaponry quiver picked up theirs You do notice a laser gun. It's got like a bulbous top to it under the under the handle and it's got like the three rings with a Spike it looks like a 1950s ray gun and it's got two peas on it and peas have like lightning bolts on the bottom And you also notice a relatively ornate knife those two I guess won't be needing those anymore. So I will pick those up Take them with us.
Are you gonna start running back towards the pod areas then? Yeah, mirages your turn I'm gonna grab as much stuff as I can Obviously the first priority is my stuff And then anything else I see that's left. I'm also gonna scoop it up So it's probably just shoms odds and ends Okay, cool. And maybe like a packers jersey or something And then I am going to use my stunt that says um spend a fake point roll deceive to create a duplicate aspect with invokes to force enemy to reroll So I'm basically creating a copy of myself that will hopefully confuse it Okay, you're creating force ghosts nice.
So that's an eight total. Okay, you do that So then his turn he's gonna try to break out who he had to do twice to break out But he breaks out of the the hold can I force him to reroll? Yeah, you can make him reroll and he rerolls Do he got the best rolling up as we get he does shoot another eyelazer at quiver and he gets a four I'm just gonna roll another dodge and use a I juice. Okay.
I just gives you a plus two. All right Oh shit I'm gonna use a fake point. Okay. Hey, that's way better.
Um, so I got a Five He got he rolled a four. He rolled pretty bad. So you're able to dodge With my stunts Um because of how athletic I am I'm allowed to fire off a free shot if I was able to beat him By enough so I'm gonna say that I just do like a sweet backflip over the laser and mid air Just fire a normal arrow at him Go for it And I got a four on the shoot for that you hit him with the arrow it breaks on his chest So for his last maneuver, he's going to squeeze on bone star again and he gets a five He's rolling goes he got his plus four and then he's gonna shit Well, I rolled very bad. So I ended up with two.
All right, so he squeezes you for you got your three quiver and how does your turn? So he seems like super thick skin did not much is doing anything to him I'm gonna pull out an arrow that has like corrosive properties to it Okay, notch it and just aim and try to create an advantage for myself So I'm going to sacrifice any of my defense or dodge for the next turn. Okay to just get a bonus for aiming at him Okay, cool. Um, I will let you know what one she gets when it comes back to your turn Four dirt is your turn.
I would like to start moving towards the pods. You move towards the pods shaman is your turn Hold the warden again All right, go for it Four this time you get another plus four on hold bone star is your turn I want to try to roll to break free of his grapple. Mm-hmm and then try to climb in his mouth Uh, he does not have a mouth. Oh shit.
He has three eyes. He has like he has two eyes where normal would be and then the third eyes where his mouth would be Okay, we'll try again that mouth eye Okay, it's just an eye, but yeah, I'm just trying to hit it. It's not in a mouth. It's just where his mouth would be I'm trying to see if I can climb into his body in any way So I can give him a nice roasting from the inside Well, I'm gonna roll first to break out of the grapple which I got a six Uh, you're able to break out his grapple and then I'm gonna try to um, just I guess make an attack to do that And if he spots me away, so that's me away.
All right, roll attack. I got a neutral zero. So that is a four All right, uh, he doesn't swat you away, but you're not able to get inside of his eye. Okay, uh, all right So Akita is your turn If bone star is out of his grass then he is just gonna spend his whole turn just Looking at towards the pods.
All right, looking at towards the pods. Mirage is your turn Mirage is going to book it towards the pods as well And is keeping an eye on the bone star situation to have the duplicate intervene if necessary The warden he's going to try to break out and then try to break out he breaks out He's going to well bone star trying to climb in his eye. He's going to eye legs or Um, and he does he gets a seven for eye lasers I'm gonna force him to reroll. Okay.
Oh, he's got a six for eye lasers. I wrote the critical failure Oh, no Alex there's something you need to know about this character which is whenever I make a critical failure or a critical success There are two instances of the scenes getting an invoke because I explode So one explosion throws back the warden back into the wall, but his eye laser pushes bone star down the hallway towards the pods There were three pods and now there are two because bone star hits one of the three pods and blows up and blows it to shit So now there's just two pods left and those that are booking towards the pods because like a lye Eye laser with bone star in it comes Because flying by you guys blows up one of the pods and then down there you see professor perfect just dodged that and then he goes Fuck y'all jack-obs and he jumps in one of the pods and takes off So another jolly one pod left All right, so bone star is floating down by the pods we get out here what? Quiver you and sham are the only ones left in the arena the warden has been blasted back by an explosion in the wall He's kind of he's laying on his back, but he does look like he'll start to get up when his turn comes What kind of bonus did I get for my aim? You get to roll twice I add them together.
What about that? Okay. I'm just doing doing special stuff off the cuff. We don't play fake correctly It's like biotigital jazz.
Yeah fucking goddamn it's I am going to I'm gonna roll twice And I'm going to That's what it was. Okay. There's a three options. Sorry.
Sorry. We're gonna do one your maximum dice roll Two two dice rolls or three roll your dice to multiply by two Let's go times two. I'm going to pop a fate point and use my stunt of uncanny accuracy And add a three to my shot And I'm gonna go for the times two that leaves me with one fate point left by the way I'm gonna keep it plus three on die. Okay, so then you got a plus six So I'm six plus the three plus my shoot of four So 13 does he still have juice in the eye?
Yes, there's one use of eye juice left. So let's make it 15 Okay, and I'm shooting the corrosive arrow at the eye in order to try and stop his eye laser attack Okay, you peg him right in the eye his his armor's weak spot So you shoot a corrosive corrosive arrow right into his eye. You got it. Nice All right, so everybody's running except for quiver currently The warden is getting up.
He's starting to like brush the shit out of his eye because it hurts and he's distracted So quiver it is backed up to your turn So he's on the ground, but he seems like he'll be able to get up on his his whole turn was standing back up I'll again sacrifice any kind of dodge or defense and make a dead sprint um towards the pods All right, so we're gonna go out of combat back into a cinematic mode Everybody's running and you guys get to the pods.
