Hello everybody and welcome to Nebula Snites. My name is Jay and I will be your GM today. This is the SHU Superhero Space Show and Canon with everything else on this feed. Anyway, this is the Patreon Show, which means we have some folks here, thanks to their really generous sponsorship on Patreon, are here to play in this beautiful space game.
I know that everybody introduced themselves individually, but let's get the ball rolling with Logan. I am Logan and I play Akira Yama. He is a bike in which is kind of like a cross-pin human and a canine. I'm Eli, I play Mirage.
She's a cat person. I'm Robert and I play Sean, a plant species. Hello, I'm Zach and I play Harlew, who's purple. Also you do tie magic, right?
Yes. We got one more person in the group, who is that? His name's Jesse. Hello, I'm Jesse.
I play a new man and he's an asshole who's lost in space and now addicted to drugs. I predicted a damn ringtone. That's about it. To recap what happened last time and really to recap what's happened on the whole thing series.
The Nebula Snites are a bunch of bounty hunters for hire that got waylaid by a couple of Earth gods that tried to capitate one of them and didn't do well. And so they've been spending their time searching down all the gods in their local space sector, trying to figure out why the Earth gods would get involved. After a bunch of travails, they finally got their hands on Eurelic known as the Divine Lens, which lets them track where gods are all throughout creation. They learn there's a big mess of them on Earth and there's a big mess of them on an old route and temple planet.
It's been abandoned centuries ago. They jump down on the planet and each do their investigation. And all are touched by gods in various ways. Sean meets Arlu, for instance, whose patron gods are good friends and want to stop the upcoming god war.
Mirage has encouraged to loot some coffins for fun and money. And does so. And does so, and I would say with some zest. Quiver meets a unusual octamine fairy god who quickly gets him addicted to fairy dust and then X-M-Ona to pick a fight he can't win against an elder god known as Brainsport, the sentient fungus colony.
It keel learns that Brainsport is bad news pretty quickly. All of the members of the crew get back to the carcass. And when everything looks most bleak, Mirage takes control of the ship's weapons, blasts Brainsport off just enough to keep him at bay and just shoots into orbit. You're welcome.
Unfortunately, once you reach escape velocity, you realize you're going out of the frying van and into the fire. Because what was once a bin all quiet space sector has erupted into all-out war. Didn't Sean wreck like kind of resurrect the planet? He did resurrect the planet.
You learn that Sean has some kind of resurrection magic or power or something. There seems to be increased when he is around other members of his species. I want to send a message to my god, just warning them that if they do come to this planet to finish pilfering the weapons that, you know, there's a whole thing that they have to fight so don't send people that Brainsport can take over. You receive a message back to you in your head.
Mirage, you've gotten everything we need off of that planet. Oh cool. We also needed it to be brought back to life. Well, that's done too.
These seem strange to you, but it's a distraction for that pantheon. They're fighting within themselves. Every step of the way you've managed to put these people against each other. Because our, at the unthrives in conflict, you've done a stellar job.
We're always going to give herself a gold star. You're having this communique while you're sort of driving the carcass out of the orbit of this temple planet. And you are going headfirst into a dogfight between about 30 different ships. You're not immediately there yet, but you can see it in the distance if you keep going in the direction you're going.
If only we were in a three-dimensional space where there are infinitely many directions to go that are away from that. I'm going to go away from that. Oh, you are now, are you? Yes.
So are you, are you trying to avoid it altogether? Are you trying to go back towards the planet? What do you think? Do I recognize any of the ships involved or anything like that?
You sure do. You've got about 15 of the giant corporations fleet and you've got about 15 of the right corporations fleet. Yeah, I'm going to choose any one of an infinitely number of vectors away from both the planet and the fight and go that way. Okay, go ahead, Nicky.
Notice wrong? Because both of these options seem bad. I got a three total. Okay, you notice down on your radar, this entire system is enveloped in war and you're going to have a really hard time just driving straight out of it.
Does the carcass have any kind of cloaking technology on it? Make me a drive roll? Oh, great. Drive my highest scale.
That's a minus two total. Okay. Yeah, you think so. Okay.
I'm going to flip that switch. Okay. Make me a notice roll. It's a one.
You're windshield wipers are on. You need help there. Yeah, I'm just trying to figure out how to cloak us and get us out of here because there's a bunch of war going on between the giant corporation, the Riker corporation, kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place here. And the key to roll anything to see if there is actually a cloaking.
Yeah, I made a drive squirrel. Nice for this. Okay, cool. Plus one to that.
That's a plus one of the dice. So plus two. Okay, there is no cloaking device on the show. There is no cloaking device.
Cool. I'm going to get on the comms and say, all right, I have a team meeting. Everybody come to the cockpit. My wake.
You just woke up. You're on the ground. You got a huge headache. You have to piss.
I'm not putting clothes on. I'm saying in my underwear. I'm keeping all that shit on my face. He does going to ask Mirage.
You know how to drive or do you need me to drive? I have driven before. Okay. Do you have a piloting license?
I've never needed one. Okay. You mind if I take over? No, it's cool.
Just as soon as everybody else gets to the cockpit, I'm going to give them an update on what's going on and say, ah, there's apparently war all over the sector and all through the seller system. These are options and I will list out probably like show the places where the battling is the least prevalent and say, which one should we go towards? Which side wants to kill us the least? Feel like both of them want to kill us equally.
Alright. I know the giant corporation wants to kill us because what's his face that fucking sheriff took over? Ah, okay. But the Riker Corporation is a bunch of fuck heads anyway.
You know, you could probably hyper drive out. That's as me speaking, as me saying, like, I mean, it's super risky because if you run into literally anything, we'll all die. Let's do it. I don't know, Sean.
Sean, do you remember that planet thing that I was talking about? Okay. Hi. Like he said that our people were on this annex planet.
Yes. Can I find that planet on my star chart? You can find it. You can find the coordinates, but there's no location listed on your chart.
It seems like it's in deep space and not a lot of that has been mapped. I will suggest that direction then, but otherwise. I've got nothing. So it's an uncharted space, but we know the general direction.
We try and get through as many of these ships as we can and try and hyper drive through it. But we're also, wait a second. Are there any other coordinates on the ship you could hyper drive through, right? What are bone stars favorites?
Or bone stars favorites? Probably. Yeah. Yeah.
If you feel like that's a bad idea. If you take a look at six different switches that also get trouble Jay, is there a giant button that says hyper drive, do not press unless you have coordinates? Oh, you know there is. Okay.
I'm going to immediately press it. Can I roll anything to stop that. I'm taking a roll for reaction. That's a plus four on the dice.
Plus we have his eight. Can I roll something to you? That's a plus seven to do this. Yeah.
Making a will roll because I will let you use your psychic powers to press the button if you try some jump down. Cool. That's also a plus four on the dice. well.
And I'm going to use my aspect, single-minded to get a plus two, so plus five. Oh, God. I'm going to say that you both lunge in at the same time and do to some just perfect timing headbutt each other. But on the way down, Marajik, do use your psychic powers to press the button underneath the glass.
Yay. And the ship takes off into hyperspace. They go super fast as fast as possible. Right towards its destination, which, you know, since one only has one favorite is Gampel Treplus.
Okay. You are thrown through a tunnel. Whoever, you've only been through hyperspace once. I'm puking and shitting all over the place.
I mean, I'm hung over and we're going through hyperspace. Things are coming out of me all over the place. You look down when you're vomiting and you see that someone has written big boy on top of your feet. So I'm just standing there in my underwear, just like pulled a waistband out and look down and see if anything's going on down there too.
You're underwares filled with gems. Like expensive gems? I'm not even mad about that. Was my little Octogout's name?
Kuan. Kuan. That's right. Yes.
I'm just gonna kind of look in the air. We're like, that one's not even a joke. Thanks. So you see the Earth Archer vomit, look at his own genitals and then give an imaginary guy a high five.
Marajik just assumes that's how all people from Earth are. I'm not cleaning that up. When you go to give thanks, Jesse, the permanent marker on your body disappears. So you go through the wormhole and get through the other side.
This is how hyperspace travel works. Don't ask me, I'm a scientist. It's true. I have a degree in scientist.
So you get to this space sector, the space sector where you know where Gamper droplets is. And it is not exactly how you left it because it's not existing anymore. It looks like something has torn Gamper droplets into several different pieces. And the debris is just floating throughout the space sector, wantonly like pinballs.
Well, what the shit happened here? At least there's not a war going on. We have time to think. Okay, don't do that again.
Look, I knew we had like six and seven chance of ending up here and a one and seven chance of ending up literally anywhere else or like a 90% chance of crashing into another ship. Look, I liked our odds. Okay. So it's kind of hard to tell what happened here, but it is just devastated.
And you know that this is kind of where a lot of the news and media gets published from. So is my kind of like frantically looking through her data pad is just going like nothing. I see nothing. I see nothing.
But I'd be able to use contacts to try and get a hold of somebody to figure out what maybe happened here. Yeah, no context. Well, plus one on the dice plus three contacts. So plus four.
You realized that you haven't had a chance to reach out and see if your brother's okay. And he would also be the person most likely to know what kind of underhanded shit is going down on the crime satellite. Let's see if I can get a hold of him. Yeah, he actually picks up his uh, indicator and goes, okay, are you okay?
Uh, where are you kind of right now? We're outside of Gamper droplets. A lot of shit's happened. Okay.
Where are you? You're outside of Gamper droplets? That please, I was kind of a stri-man, I'm not ha- Well, it was out of this or being in the middle of a huge battle, so... Oh, I mean, I guess it's fair.
Yeah. War is breaking out everywhere, you can't really stop it. I mean, look, I had to, after what happened on Colosseum World, I ducked out, I faked my own death. I'm living like a king, baby.
Good. Yeah. Real good. In fact, I just bought the copyright to Gampel Tropos, which means I'm gonna build a new one, and this'll be mine.
Okay. We make tons of money together. Sounds good. Anything we should know about.
We've kind of been in jail for a while, and then, last shit's gone down. Basically, a bunch of really important people have been assassinated, and that sparked a bunch of wars between all these corporations, and, you know, the Weiser Battalion and the Nebula Snights, they get involved, but it's just... doesn't help anything. It's going on for months.
As soon as that giant corporation see you, we've got murdered on TV, everybody. I guess it's been like a fever or something going on, people. Gampel Tropos got destroyed in a fight. We're torn apart in a dogfight, and all people will still on it.
It was fully occupied. I guess what I'm saying is you need to get somewhere safe. I'm not anywhere safe right now, but I'm trying to get to one, and if I do, I'll let you know. Alright, good.
Stay safe. You stay safe, too, bro. I'm real happy to know that you didn't die when that robot went down. Yeah.
Glad to know you're alright. Thanks. Okay, so the trouble's got destroyed in a dogfight, and now my brother owns it. I learned how did it happen?
Recently. Apparently a lot of people went down with it. I don't know a lot about spaceships, but you guys have scanned for life buttons or something. Should we try to figure out what happened, or do we not care?
I don't know if I actually care. Just making a suggestion. Mirage wants to scan, not necessarily for life. Like if that comes up as well, that's cool, but like any technology I can pilfer.
Okay, go ahead and make two piloting rolls. Unless you can argue that you can use a different skill to operate the ship's game. Can Nikita maybe assist with this? Yeah, for sure.
Both of you roll. Cool. I got a plus one total pilot. I got a plus two total.
Mirage, the only technology you can tell are like chunks of ship holes and stuff that are just gonna float not there in the debris. Mm-hmm. You could probably pick through it and maybe scrap into a few things, but it isn't worth a lot of money. Yeah, it's kind of like a cheap place built on cheap goods.
What I will say though is you notice two life-sick. I'm gonna point those out and advise Akita to head towards them. One is roughly the size of Gamble Dropless. The other is about a seven foot tall or so.
Both are 4-g-in, which is bone-star-spaced. Okay, in that case, when I notice that I'll say, hey, take note of these and drive away from them. Yeah, we don't want to get close to them again. Nope.
Alright. Should I hit the hyperdrive button again? See where we end up? This makes sense.
You might want to change the coordinates? Yes. What's not? Is there a button to randomize the coordinates?
That's not a good idea. Yeah, no. Look, Sean's God gave us a planet to go to. And if nothing else, we can go there and we can rescue my people.
We have coordinates, like exact coordinates for that planet. Yeah, it's just not on the map. Alright. You just have to have some faith, I guess.
Anything's better than this right now, so. Get a little punch in those coordinates and... Maraschitsen. Okay, quiver, you're going in that wormhole again, but...
Oh no! You're feeling good this time. Oh, I do? Okay.
Yeah, you realize you have an eerie sense of calm. There's nothing left in me. That's a part of it. And if you look up around you, you can see these little pink sparkles falling from the ceiling.
It's snow, but tiny. Alright, getting sprinkled with that good good. You're no longer nauseous. Great.
And in fact, you feel pretty fun good. Awesome. God damn, chibi sparkles. You can be hopped up on drugs the whole God more.
Can you make this thing do a loop-doo loop? Let's go! You see who on briefly appear in front of you, quiver, and give you a big wink? I'm gonna shoot him some finger guns.
Right? Thanks, bud. Feelin' alright now. Eight tentacles worth of finger guns right back there.
I don't think a loop-doo loop will work since the carcass generates its own gravity, so no matter what direction we're pointed, it'll still feel like we're traveling with having our feet on the ground. Don't do it, man. I'm gonna do a backflip then. You do not see, like, he's so far gone off of whatever the fuck happened to him on the planet.
I can tell him that he's the king of this sector, and he won't know what I'm saying. Look, a lie should have just let him have fun. While you're having this discussion, you're looking at him and he's like rolling your shoulders and giving some finger guns? See?
Do you try for a backflip, by the way? Oh, yeah, hell yeah. I can't make a physique roll. Let's do it.
Uh, uh, I got a minus one. So I'm gonna say that you forget that when you're traveling at light speed, this would be a little bit of a gravitational pull. So you go for a backflip and you violently slam into the wall, knocking down a glass trophy case with a green-bay packers jersey in it. You're just covered in broken glass laying on the ground, but it felt great.
I mean, you broke through. It was cool. All right. Sean, can you check on him?
I'm just gonna pop up and like throw the arms up like I stuck the landing. I'm still kind of just wearing an underwear, so let's throw on that jersey. Well, someone has scored him to his quarters today. By the way, you notice when he does a backflip, just tons of precious gemstones fly out of the front of his underwear.
I want to use telekinesis to collect those and pull them towards me. Hey, make me a stealth roll. Uh, it's a plus two on the dice plus two stealth for a four. You got those gems.
Nice. You might want to watch those first. You finally arrive through the other side of the wormhole while all of this is going on. Thank God.
And you kind of arrive behind a moon. That's no moon. Now this is a moon and I'm gonna pull my pants down. Goddamn it.
Just a giant cascade of gemstones fall onto the ground. I'm gonna use telekinesis to get more of them. What the hell happened to him? Arlo, can you make me a little roll?
Let's work again. Now that you're not moving through hyperspace, it's a little bit clearer. Whoever's been infected by some kind of chaos magic. It's probably not good.
It's probably not good. And you know it might spread if you don't do something about it. Uh, so he's like all infected with, uh, like chaos magic and stuff? Anything like that?
Spore thing then? Fucking us. Is it? Nah, this stuff's good.
Brain spore is an elder god, which uses eldritch magic. Um, and this is a different type of magic. So it's just like mental magic. Chaos magic has to do with randomness, probability, chance, whereas eldritch magic has to do with planes beyond our no existence or understanding.
Chaos magic is known to kind of infect entire group. So if you have infect entire groups or mobs of people at a time, it's usually why random unprobable things happen in the universe. So like how would that be manifested? Would it be inside of him in some way?
No, it looks like it's an aura surrounding him. And in fact, go ahead and make another will roll. Ooh, plus five. Okay, so you can see that it's actually like, it looks like a snow raining down on him.
And, uh, you notice the fairy kind of fly right back into your eyesight and say, what are you doing here? I mean, I thought we had to deal, you know, like. Oh no, you go ahead and make me one more will roll. Plus four again.
However, the cast magic surrounding you is dispersed. You feel hung over again. Uh, can I try and do something to remove his hangover, like healing or something? Make me a will roll for healing magic.
Plus five. Yeah, Jesse, you are completely healed of your hangover. This mysterious purple skinned person has come over and it seems that magic swirling out of their arms. And you see it envelop you and take that pink dust away.
And then feel another cloud envelop you and pull this like horrible yellow smoke from your body. You instantly feel fine. You don't feel jacked up. You don't feel hungover.
You just feel like you're at an even keel. Sir, an airlock. I would like to space the dust ship. Yeah, you can vacuum the dust shit into a sight vent.
It was when you do that, the fairy disappears. I feel like that fairy is not going to be happy with me. Feel good now. Yeah.
Quiver like looks down at this jersey he's wearing and underwear and probably some couple little cuts from the glass and be like, uh, not really sure what came over me, but I'm going to take a shower. Um, go get dressed. Where are we at? What are we doing?
Hmm. We're at a planet that doesn't technically exist. Alright. Well, yeah.
Give me five. I'll be right with you guys. Yeah, you go do that. Please also clean up your vomit.
Yeah. Alright. So while Quiver runs off to go in the shower, the rest of you all gather around your mapping software. You can see that there is indeed a planet here even if it doesn't show up on Star Trek.
It's a smaller planet and at a distance you can see it surrounded by a panda 20 ships. It seems to be doing a patrol in the orbit. If you go ahead and give the scanner closer look, it seems to be a factory planet. You guys said that some of your people are here.
Yeah, that's what we were told. But it looks like they're going to either be working or slaving. Sean, you feel a hand on your shoulder and everybody else sees this figure kind of instantly operate next to Sean and I'm from shoulder. It's a green man.
So it's a man made out of greenery and leaves. What the fuck is that? What the hell? And he says, my name is topio and I'm a god.
Sean is my herald. My goal is to stop this God war before it even starts. But to do that, I need Sananday. I need the Sananday people to be united.
They have powerful magics that can disrupt divine energies. But that power only grows when they're in a group. I understand all of you are on the board, so to speak. Some of you are even in the same pantheon.
But nobody wants to go to the board, do they? No. He looks at you, Sean. No, I want to stop this.
It's not worth all the hurt it's going to cause. Then he looks at you, Mirage. I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention. This is Raguar Annex Planet 12.
Essentially a factory. You are born in the factory, you die in the factory. This is all that's left of most of the Sananday. All I'm asking is for your assistance to rescue these people.
The Raguar Corporation is a powerful enemy. I don't believe that you can fight them. I just believe that you can escape. It's all we've been doing lately.
I mean, as long as in rescuing them, we also get to take out most of the planet and hurt the corporation I'm in. I was going to make all of you an offer. I'm listening. I would like to offer you shelter.
I am the god of shelter. I will take you away from this space sector. Hide you from these corporations. I can even shelter you away from the gods themselves.
If you like. All I ask is that you do this for me. How about instead? I do this and I get one favor from you.
To be named at a later date. He walks over to you. Very close. He looks down at you, he's tall.
He looks in your eyes. What do you want? I don't know yet. I want a favor.
You get nothing out of helping people. You get nothing out of rescuing a society that was born into retail. Look, the thing you're offering, shelter. I've been doing that on my own.
So, I will help your people. You're already offering something. I am merely suggesting a different trade. A favor to be named later.
In exchange for my help. It's basically the thing that you're already offering. I'm kicking that can down the line a little. I'm happy I turned around to you, Sharvin.
I trust this offer, Sharvin. I mean, she'll ask for a favor. Definitely. It's going to be a big one.
Is it worth it? It's fine. It's all the problem she's caused me. She has incredible power.
I think she'll be an asset. You did just all save you. She saved every single one of you. I'm brain spore.
Yeah. I'm around to you have a deal. Great. You can keep anything you find.
Sounds good. I would advise that one of you take out a relay satellite to prevent the security forces from being able to coordinate. Some of you go on planet and extract the son into themselves. And one of you stay on the ship.
Ready for get away. I'm going to come out of the shower right now. Hey, what's up, guys? Got another new guy on the ship?
Yeah, we keep picking these up. He turns around and he goes, quiver. Hey, you. I am the Earth's God top you.
I know of you. Earth's God. Finland. I believe the Americans know it as.
How do you know of me? What have you heard? I know of what happens on Earth. Boy, I'm still a God.
I was asking for your assistance in liberating Shomp's people. In exchange. I'll take you back to Earth. Nice deal.
Let's go. That's it. Yeah, I'm good. Is that easy?
Yeah. Top you turn around and look at Mirage like really man. He's a simple man. Quiver, you do like a big jump off of the ship and use a tether and you can float yourself your space close enough that you can get to the satellite.
You can make me stealth roll. Four plus is to six. You land on the satellite without a hitch. Mirage, you have visual confirmation that Quiver is they are safe and unseen.
Quiver, you landed successfully onto the satellite. You landed on what essentially looks like a docking bay. And there's a number of people dressed in black slacks, white polos. Okay.
Like earth clothes. And they are of a billion different species, most of which you've never seen before. But they're all kind of joylessly shuffling around and looking at their shoes while directing traffic. In front of you, there's a big office building with a spire built into it that goes up as far as you can tell in your 20-20 floors.
You can also tell an approach that there's a similar spire on the bottom of the satellite. I'm going to start searching for any type of control rooms. Ducking behind crates, shadow kind of stuff. Just start making my way through this bay.
Make a stealth roll. Yeah, only one. You are... See.
Okay. By a human who briefly looks up from their feet, kind of looks around and then runs over to you. Is he running at me like threatening or is he like excited? He is excited, but you can tell he's also trying to shuffle with his head looking towards the ground, so he's not trying to erase suspicion.
But yeah, he looks very excited. And he says, human? Yes. How can I help you?
You can help me get through here. And I'm going to quick shot him and take a shot at him while he's tucked behind these areas. He's not going to react. What are you shooting him with?
Just like a blunt arrow just trying to knock him out. I'm going to try to get through here. And I'm going to quick shot him and take a shot at him while he's tucked behind these areas. He's not going to react.
What are you shooting him with? Just like a blunt arrow just trying to knock him unconscious. But I'm not trying to kill him. I'm just trying to knock him out.
He doesn't defend, but he does from the impact of the arrow blast away from you. You can hear him sort of in a sickly gurgle laying on the ground saying, I hope you had a positive customer experience. Okay. And then you notice that the other workers shuffling around are starting to raise their heads and look around for a potential customer.
And they all look up and they look towards the sky like frantic chipmunks and customer, customer. What I want to do is, if I can do this without being seen, is restrain him and just bind his mouth as well so he can't make too much noise. And I'm going to take his uniform and I'm going to change clothes, just become one of these dudes and then just start shuffling out into the area, kind of looking at my feet, not really doing anything. Can you make me a deceiver?
I got a plus two. Okay. Yeah. You're pretty convincing actually.
The folks that are looking around for a customer just kind of notice that nothing's going on. They all shrug. You hear a loud speaker peep up with a sharp voice, feminine voice saying inefficiency, inefficiency, inefficiency. Okay.
And so they all immediately put their feet back towards the ground, it's just shuffling around like they were before you got there. Go ahead and make me a self rule. I got a three on that one. Perfectly successful.
You get into the spire. No problem. There's no guards. There's no security.
Just speakers and cameras on every wall and window. You notice when you get in, there's a detailed floor plan because all of the fire escapes are clearly marked on a document on the wall. Take note of that. If I have anything that can just like snap a picture to you.
Yeah, you have a data pad. The rooms are labeled with what they are. They are labeled Office 1, Office 2, Office 3, except for two floors. One says security center and one says management.
So I will head towards the security center continuing to still try to shuffle in the same way as I saw these other people doing. Okay. As you're walking through the building, you know, going for floor to floor or whatever, you kind of get a glimpse. You see a lot of people working in these buildings.
The entire floor is flat. There are half cubicles that surround the whole thing. They're all just sitting there working and working and working and never turning away from the screen. You go through floor and floor and floor and floor and floor with this before you get to the security floor.
Okay. Sorry, you can talk on that. I didn't even do something. No, no, no, no.
It just sounds gross. It sounds boring. This place sucks. You get to the security floor and you can tell that this place is locked down pretty hard.
They've got a couple security forces there. They're not wearing the white polos. They're wearing blue polos. I'm going to dip back into something again.
Maybe just a bathroom going to a stall, like a closet, wherever just somewhere I can slip into again. Make me a notice roll. Yeah. I got a two.
There are no bathrooms. You haven't seen a bathroom such a guy. Oh, is there any other places like a closet? A janitor supply place, anything like that?
Nope. Wide open room, flat floor plan. Make a self roll. Yeah.
I got a two on the self. Okay. I'm going to say that you can kind of like cook your way out of a window and make your way through one of the fire entrances, which is like a balcony on the side of the fire. I mean, it's pretty high up, but you know, that's kind of thing before.
When you get into the room, you see that most of the system's just massive computers with those security folks patrolling it. Are they inside that room or they're just outside guarding it? They're inside. Inside as well.
How many are in the room? Okay. Is it clear that there is a main server or any computer specifically that looks to be controlling the operation or specific server tower in the middle of the room? It actually looks super familiar to a lot of the setups and organizations that you've seen on Earth.
Oh, this is very standard. So like any office job that you don't work. Gotcha. All right.
Well, that seems pretty straightforward then. So I am going to against a stealthy and see if I can get myself near that area unseen. Okay. Go ahead and make another stealth roll.
Oh, that was a good one. That's a five. You managed to get in right up in there. No problem.
These security guys, there's a lot of them, but they're not super attentive. Since it's just a basic ass computer, I'm going to open up the case and reach into my quiver and pull out a corrosive arrow. I'm not going to fire it. I'm just going to jam it into the motherboard of this computer.
Soon as you do, you feel the entire satellite system shut down. Okay. Jesus. The whole thing goes down.
And that's kind of a weird thing because you're pretty sure that the satellite has been kept aloft by this energy. You can feel like kind of hurtling through space. The security guards all kind of just hit their head and stuff and fall down. You're a little more dexterous than that.
But what's your game plan on getting out of the sinking satellite? So in that loading bay, did I see any skate pods, ships, anything like that? Oh, there are a ton of them and they're all flying through the air now. Since these guys all seem like chumps now that I saw their reaction to this, I'm going to drop the ruse and just start running out and try to make my way to where I was not worrying about stealth more so just speed and ignoring everything around me.
Go ahead and make a zero. A four. Okay. So I'm going to say that you kind of you get halfway through the spire until you notice that it's going to crack in half.
You can see a gap into where the things falling apart and you notice that there are a bunch of ships just kind of immediately floating out there. So I'm going to say that your physical comes in when you're able to essentially take a big flying leap from the satellite onto one of those ships, like down to the side of it. You can recognize too that there must still be some remnants of the artificial atmosphere because you can breathe out here. Oh, I don't have to anyway.
Oh, that's right. I forgot about that. You're free. Yeah.
It's may looks up at you, Sean, Nikita, Arlou, and says, all right, let's do this. And if it doesn't go, if it doesn't, it doesn't go right. Thank you. And then she hops out the spaceship.
It'll jump right after. I'll fall out. I'm staying here. I'm going to leap a faith off of this thing.
Is there a hay bale underneath me? When you're going down, you can still speak in your communicators. And is may says, I can see where the ships are being parked. I'm to go off that way.
And so she kind of veers off to the right. Arlou and Sean, you're approaching this part of the planet under this giant factory from which you can see from what you just look at, and it'll be on your no end. But you're relatively close to those magic signatures. You have a couple of meters or so.
Like he does not there with you. He doesn't land. It's concerning. Okay, we need to stop splitting up like this.
Always lose communication. So Sean, you basically land on the roof of this factory Arlou you land right afterwards. And you can tell that there are a ton of like spires and smokestacks and stuff. So there are lots of entry points into these factories as long as you want to get in.
Otherwise, if you want to look at the surroundings, it's mostly like any open air that's not a building is like a smelting yard or something. I don't like this place. Let's find my people and then we can get off this planet. Sean, go ahead and make me a notice roll.
That is a plus two notice. When you make your notice roll, you notice just from looking down at all the various smelts yards in front of you. There's not a single San Anday monon. Can I still see their magic for us?
Yes, they seem to be all concentrated into one building. It doesn't look to be any San Anday out here. Oh yeah, there are a lot of them in the building over there. At least I think they are.
Boy, that'd be a really tragic if they're not actually there. Well, can we see the station that Quiver went to? You can look up into the sky and see that a space station open space has been cracked in half and is flying rapidly towards the inky blackness of space. Okay, well, it looks like Quiver has done what he needed to do.
So hopefully that'll help us with security on down here as well. So the closer you approach the building, the more you can feel the magical energy swell, are you? Sean, you can also feel a little bit of magical energy yourself. You don't really know it as magic.
It's foreign to you, but it's kind of like an ambient feeling of warmth. And you can follow that feeling. If you like, you're basically on the roof of this building. It's a large warehouse style building.
It doesn't seem like there are any smokes, stacks or anything, but there are a few windows on the side. Well, I'll start by looking through a window then. You see the San Anday there about 1,800 or so, although I don't know if you can be able to to estimate that very easily. And they are all lifelessly taking stickers off of something and then putting different stickers If you're trying to get on the ground floor, you'd have to look around.
It's kind of hard to see. The windows are large enough for you to get through if you want. I still like that. Good.
So I will try going through the window. Go ahead and make me a physique roll. That is a plus four. Okay.
Can you describe what it looks like when you're trying to do it? Like go from the roof of a building in through a window or using your powers at all? Yes, I'm hanging from the edge of the roof and sort of growing down to kick the window in. Arlu, you watch Sean body morph into a giant vine-like plant guy and slick his way through the window.
I look impressed. I'm going to do the kind of thing where I try and look through the walls and see if they're like any guards in there. Okay. You can say there aren't any guards in the building, but they certainly are outside the door.
There are a number of electronic devices in the room as well. Cameras, stuff like that. Can I try and pull some of the magic energy from the Sanne day and destroy the cameras? Ooh, I really like that.
Go ahead and make me an empathy roll and then a will roll. Minus one empathy. And then making a will roll. Plus four on will again.
Sean you watch the Sanne day like wince as if they've been hurt slightly and see a bunch of smoke swirling out of their bodies and into various cameras and electronic devices in the room and then you see those devices just kind of disintegrate into dust. It didn't mean to hurt them. Oops. First off I'd like to come to is made to see if check in with her how she's doing on finding a ship.
When you check into the comm you can hear a bunch of laser shots and then after three or four seconds she goes, oh I'm doing good. I'm about ready to take this ship. It's just I met a couple of people with a couple of guns. It's nothing.
Okay. I'm out. So you're ready for us. I don't have the ship yet.
