Hurricane Harvey left a trail of destruction, in Houston Texas and many were ill prepared to deal with the grievous affliction of a natural disaster. As Black America continues to face police terrorism and unforeseen circumstances, we have to be prepared. The category 4 hurricane that hit Houston was another wake-up call, just like Katrina and many of us are ill equipped to ensure the safety of our family.
