NEED FOR A MENTAL EXODUS

The clamour for a mental exodus among the African youth is a clarion call for both Mr John Youhannes Magok, an expert on Mineral Resources Development at the African Union and Hon. Lekan Adejare a one-term councillor in Nigeria and former board member of Ogun State Television to speak on the liberation of the African mind. It calls for youths to seek intellectual independence, cultural reclamation, and self-sustaining innovation. This departure is not just desirable, but quintessential, for the realisation of Africa's developmental aspirations. As the continent continues to stride towards prosperity, its youth must free themselves from historical mental constraints to harness their full potential. The mental exodus necessary for Africa's renaissance can become a reality through deliberate policies, educational reforms, and the embracement of digital and cultural tools. Only then can the youths of Africa truly steer their continent towards a future that resonates with their unique identities and aspirations.
