Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) impact almost 2 billion people worldwide, with a disproportionate burden in impoverished communities. While these diseases are considered “neglected” for a variety of reasons, there are some passionate and knowledgeable professionals working to eliminate these diseases which drastically impact the quality of life of many individuals.
