Nehemiah 10 – Commitment to Covenant: Living Set Apart for God

Holiness still matters.✅ Honoring the Sabbath:“We will not buy on the Sabbath…” (v. 31)They restore God’s rhythm of rest. Sabbath wasn’t just a rule—it was a way to remember who provides. True obedience often means saying “no” to culture in order to say “yes” to God.✅ Stewardship and Generosity:From wood offerings to tithes to firstfruits, they commit to sacrificial giving (vv. 32–39). They’re not just building walls—they’re rebuilding worship. Revival touches how we manage what God has given us.✅ A Powerful Declaration:“We will not neglect the house of our God.” (v. 39)This is the heartbeat of the chapter.
