This week Nehemiah 8:1-18 Small Group Questions 1. Can you remember the main points of the sermon? 2. The Israelites were hungry for the Word of God v.1 and v.3. How can we encourage that hunger in one another? What have you found that keeps you reading the Bible and hearing God speak to you? 3. Why does God want us to confess our sins v.9 (compare with Matthew 5:12)? Why should we do that if we know we've already been forgiven? 4. Why does a Christian know the joy of the Lord v.10? How can that be our strength? Can you share examples of when you have known that? 5. What is a right motivation to obey God and what is a wrong motivation? 6. Spend some time asking God to revive us as a church and to bring revival to our town and nation.
