Nehemiah's Prayer

The sermon explores the example of Nehemiah, who responded to the devastation of Jerusalem with weeping, fasting, and fervent prayer. It emphasizes the necessity of believers today to similarly intercede for their communities, churches, and government when facing spiritual decline. The preacher highlights the role of the Holy Spirit in bringing God's Word to remembrance, enabling faithful prayer and witness during trials. Personal anecdotes illustrate how trusting in God's sovereignty provides comfort amidst personal suffering and uncertainty. Ultimately, the message calls the congregation to maintain faith, hope, and love while actively lifting up Jesus' name.
