Nehemiah’s Prayer Has Now Become Ours

Nehemiah, a cupbearer for the king prayed to God for forgiveness on behalf of his countrymen who had been exiled and banished to other countries and nations. While he and others worked hard to rebuild the walls and closed the gates of the city, they were humiliated, ridiculed, intimidated and threatened with death. They allowed nothing to stop their task. It was love of God, family, people, and their country that caused their faith and strength to remain strong allowing them to restore the country. Like Nehemiah, we MUST do the same.
