Nemo (Nightwish cover)
from Vanitas Hosted by Vanitas
Extreme jazz reharmonization of Nightwish's "Nemo". Roughly 50-100 hours of work for this. While Nemo is not my favorite song, it's kind of an earworm with its repetitive simplicity. While singing the song at work, I felt it would go nicely in 7/8 time instead of 4/4. I sketched out the first few bars with some spicy chords, liked the sound, and the rest is history.
