Goal: Everyone belonging to church will understand (be able to discern) the culture being formed by “evangelical” avoiding misunderstanding and malpractices of evangelical churches in Nepal. Therefore, be excited and creative to engage gospel by living it. And, another motivation is to bring these understanding to our daughter churches. Evangelical means many things to many people. Every church defines it as they’ve learned or want to practice. There are many misunderstandings and malpractices inside evangelical churches or Nepal, we must be discerning and yet proactive in engaging both ideas (understanding) and living (actions and habits). Cross-Way is an evangelical church, but our understanding is peculiar way we interpret and understand the Bible. Evangelical means gospel of Jesus Christ centered. Church understands to preach the pure gospel of Jesus Christ (as he understood it and lived it), and to teach/preach its implications in our context of Nepal and our church.
