Hypertension is a leading cause of kidney disease and in part four of this multipart podcast series, Dr. Benjamin Broome, a nephrologist with Nephrology Associates in Birmingham, Alabama, is joined by Dr. Donald DiPette, who serves on faculty in the department of internal medicine at the University of South Carolina in Columbia to discuss the clinical implications of hypertension as a significant cardiovascular risk factor.
