I know nothing. So do you have anything that we might have missed out about Trek or why do you love the Trek? I don't know. It's really strange because it's like I'm one of those people who basically like don't really enjoy the original series, but I absolutely adore like the middle area, you know, like where you had like next year and you had DS9, you had Voyager and I'm like, that is like this golden era for me.
And it was really weird because I got to DS9 like very late and then it's probably become my favourite. Like, you know that weird thing where you have a comfort show, like it's very much in Mirdham where you have this comfort fandom where like makes a mind of restart Buffy or the restarts sort of like, you know, like Babylon 5 or something, but those are the only unhinged ones. And you know, I find myself being like, oh, the lockdown, I think I watched through DS9 like twice and considering it's like seven seasons long. Wow.
Yeah. Yeah. I'm watching it now. I totally get it though, Game of Thrones is like my comfort show, but I get to like season five and I'm like, we're gonna do it, can I finish it?
No, I can't. Do we find that people like, I find myself struggling to get into Nurdham that people like love because there's so much of it? Like a mate of mine, I've never seen like Star Gate. And the mate of mine was like, oh, you'll love it.
You have to watch this. But then you look at it and you're like, oh, how many episodes are there? Oh, okay. To sign my life away now, shall I?
People get like that with supernatural law as well now, because there's 15 seasons and 24 episodes per season and each episode's 50 minutes to an hour. So it's a hell of a chunk to give your life away as well. But my comfort one at the moment is probably Brooklyn 99 just because of the humour, the characters and just busy how kind of entertainment they can be as well. Now everyone else popping up to come and join the podcast.
Oh my God. Everyone's feeling brave and feeling they're jumping up now. I think I watch the American office about 7 billion times during lockdown. Well, but you could have, that's going to be a simple one.
What is your comfort one to so many people? Well, I mean, obviously Star Trek is a staple. However, my ultimate comfort is Parks and Recreation. It is so upbeat.
It just cheers me up when I feel really, really low. And it's bright. You've got Ron Swanson for God's sake. Yes.
Come on. And you've got a bit of greatness. Sebastian, is Sebastian the horse? Sebastian.
Little Sebastian. And it's just a wonderful, wonderful show with Amy Poehler and Chris Pratt. And there's not a mean born in that show, that's all. And when you're ever, I mean, obviously, it's like it's Star Trek to comfort.
Star Trek will always be the comfort. But it's Parks and Recreation all the way. And then Mystery Science to these 3000, which I hammered on about in the podcast. No, there's no other side.

Uh, we're still in the realm. So I've like for me, made future armor. It's probably long. And I just keep going back to and back to and back to.
You know, much as I've said about kind of the expanse of certain shores and what have you and how long they've been going. There's a couple of seasons and there's a good few episodes, especially towards the end and second to last season where I just kind of went. Oh, the the the Flog and the Dead Horse a little bit here, but they did manage the public round book. What Graham said there before about like expansive kind of universes and not being able to get into them.
Star Trek's always been like that for me. Go off to drama sci-fi. I've got the Alien T-shirt on here on my favorite author's sci-fi, but Star Trek is a whole lot of never been able to engage with it. Up until recently the that Picard series that they did on-prem, there were places where I almost wept.
That was absolutely beautiful. And I can't remember the name of the series, but there's one that they've done with one of the glasses from Orange's New Black in it. I was really enjoying it. I was really enjoying it.
I'm not going to disengage with it. Yeah. You know, something about a fancy engine or something like that with the ship. I started enjoying it and then started watching it and never got back in.
But yeah, sci-fi all the way from a future armor, a lot of over and over again. Well, of course we've been bringing out new. So I asked future armor though, aren't they? Like, yeah.
Because I've got a bit of dispute with the guy from the voice in Bender or something like that. That went on a period. Joe DiMaggio, isn't it? Yeah, I think he's near.
Didn't he marry Marilyn? He's in Maryland. It's in Maryland, DiMaggio. But like I said, I think then it decided that would be a mistake to try and recast and have a different voice, shall we say.
So it kind of changed a little bit. But yeah, future armor's one-one. I can keep going back. There is another comfort show that I probably do touch on from time to time.

It is one of the best I've seen for a long, long time. The chemistry, even though the two men actually hate themselves like through the show, is just magic to watch. And if you ever like say, watching like a stupid, just outlandishly daft cop show, I would always recommend castle as a big one. The problem you've got Paul is you levied excellent games like Batman and Mass Effect against nostalgia. Yeah, you're right. The final, like no way in the world that I think Pokemon, like the Game Boy game would have got anywhere near the type of games that we'll put in the book games. I would have put Pokemon really highly, the same as Final Fantasy 7.
Even if you take the nostalgia out of it, you're like that is a fantastic game. But things as well, like through is like Gears of War didn't even make the top 16. That just broke my heart. Oh, it's made for every game of all time.

But then like having Evil Dead one, it's probably not as good as like two and three, like in terms of, I don't know, popular opinion. So it's a bit weird because I'd say the first one is the horror one and then everything else has great horror elements. But it's, you know, you're like, it's like a horror comedy kind of thing. Why are you always classed as a campy horror?
