Good luck with that. It's been a pleasure to have you. Bye. Bye.

Bye everyone and welcome to another episode of the Nelly Up North Podcast. I'm all thrown off since I've been getting over done as a dungeon. This is the Nelly Podcast, also by Northern North and one of your hosts Sam. And now we have the host Paul.

And we joined the team podcast Granddad Charlotte. Yes. Well guys, I hope everyone's well. Now this is kind of a special episode.

It's kind of crept up us without really realizing it's our 50th podcast episode, which fuck me how was looking. Poor as likely. We've still talking bullshit and still carrying on, basically. Pretty much.

Yep. So Sam missed the first episode last week. Yeah, she made prior re-engineering such a missed the lovely Cali and Donna and Charlotte as we've done everything. That was a bit goth.

I was gushes. I was absolutely gushes. I got me out of it already for it. I was going to prop it off.

But he's did so well and Donna just made me so proud. Or proud. That's. Yes.

So this week, I thought we'd go have a trip down memory lane, shall we say. Talk about all things from our childhood and probably in our adolescence because we're still big kids, these, especially me with me toys and everything around us. We're going to go a bit old school as well and talk about childhood cartoons. But yes, so again, we've almost hit another milestone on the Facebook group as well.

We're almost at what was it? 4,500 members. So we're creating up there. So still keep on going.

Just growing. Just accepting it. Yes. But yeah, so it's been like an interesting week.

Shall we say what we're trying to find with everyone's faces and talk about the favourite cartoons. Yeah. So before we do that, yeah, this crap it out the way away and just say that everything discussed in tonight's episode is our opinions and our opinions along. If you want to discuss any topic from tonight's conversation, please come and join us in the Facebook group and we can have an open discussion or we won't have anyone coming for us and tell us our opinions are wrong.

We can agree to disagree in fundants. Let's keep it fun and keep it kind and let's keep it toxic behavior out of nerdism. We can do try and do. It's getting harder and harder each week, but we do try and do.

We live by that statement. So we are trying. Yes. So let's say I know me, Grant and Sam are all around the same age.

So I think our cartoon experiences are going to be around some of things. I think Grant's might be a little bit more out there. Should we see it? Grant is a little bit more out there.

So these cartoons just going to match that. Yeah. And I think Charlotte's like she's a 90s baby. So she'll have the kind of network exploration show we said that came about.

But yeah, quite interested to see your start and point what your early memory. Shall we see a brand? Um, muscles universe. Right.

When I was the earliest cartoon memory, I was obsessed with masters of the universe, but Castle Grey's goal and figures and sit and fixated on the TV when I was about five or six year old. Looking back at it now, it's a lot of Netflix. Not long ago, but the original book. I was obsessed with this.

And I was obsessed with this. And I say the other one, which we'll mention a little bit. But yeah, as you said, the figures was everything. The thing is, in the 80s, you can't talk about the cartoons without having the figures hand in hand, but they literally came with each other.

And I was exactly the same. I always remember my VHS copy sitting. I can still picture the day. And I'm like, Oh, that's Telly, like a little Telly with a video player.

And now video was stuck next to it. You know the ones with the green and red sleeves, and then the recorded ones, and Mehimann, just been right there, right there. I had all of the figures and obviously she wrote up afterwards, so yeah, I am totally in. I still watch the Mixer at the new one as well.

I was actually going to play with one, good. Oh, that was fantastic. Doing well. Kevin Smith.

But it was your favorite in the X-man not now because I'd probably guess it would be now. Gosh. It's got his voice on it. Um.

Oh, God, it would have probably been P-Man and some. Yeah. See, I was a big Orgle fan. I love that because it was one of the toys that you picked up, but it had a little haul.

It was a thing in the pocket and followed out. I used to zoom all over the place. I had the carpet floor. Mine always has to be Battlecard, because I love the fact that you could put his armor on.

And then you could take it off and use the Cringer again and then he's Battlecard. I think I had the purple one as well. And he was like a belcro-y kind of feel. It was like, I still remember that.

But I had so many catchy catch-fuses as well. The amount of times I run around to school yards and get smacked all up, bullied relentlessly for just screaming. I was a skinny, squawing kid back then. That was probably the first element of fantasy.

I didn't stop it with the he-man. Yeah, probably mine as well. Like my first like, dealt with the fandom was the amount because you just became obsessed with it. Like, as a kid, I'm not really a bothered but as an adult, watching back and listening to Skeletor now.

Hilarious. Like, absolutely hilarious. Like, the fact that he kept calling him on a boot. Like...

Well to be fair though, like say the comics like in the Dias used to have one, because a punch and sign and stuff like that. So the things he used to get away with and like, it was quite innocent time back then. But I think the makers of the cartoon knew what they were doing. Because one of him and the actual cartoon to resonate with adult audience as well.

Especially with the female characters. Like Taylor and Eva Lynn were just like, giving this, giving this outfit, yeah, boobed out. Literally walking boobs first. Isn't he-man, didn't he-man the cartoon come because of the figures and knock the other way around?

That's correct. Yeah. Because they've got one to make a line of figures. I think it was on that show.

Yeah, the points that made us. Because originally they brought died the idea of the figures to be released with a comic boog. So I think the early figures come with a little boog. Yeah.

I can't really recall it because I just got the second hand figures unfortunately. Some of mine were, I haven't an old person who we had the share things with. But so then they released the cartoon. But I love the cartoon just at the end because they used to have like a little noticing.

But which the rip the piss out of now with all the sell-off things when he just gives you a little fox. But he used to make little like wands like he got to be goed to the elderly or something like that. Always left and right when crossing the road kids. Because we used to be that stupid back in the day as well.

We had so many safety videos. It's got all the rest of the road. It's got a lot of stranger danger ones as well though. Yeah.

Don't say candy from people. Don't corner with red forwards there. It's all the red forwards. Always.

See how many cars the people in the North, these ones have been forward for. We're not making that assumption that anyone with a red forward or yes there was a red. I'm not a red forward for yes. Although you were saying I'd be having a strong feelings about he-man or was it a little bit before your time there, bless you.

I can't remember saying it but I think it's just kind of, I think I was more like right at the end of the year. So I think it's all passing me by a little bit. So my comeback though. I did like the new ones.

What was it called? Revelations, wasn't it? Yeah. I've got the comics to go with it as well.

Absolutely phenomenal. It was just so good. It was so different. Just, I don't know, absolutely adult-y man.

Absolutely. I think we were looking in for the planet yesterday and had the old retro figures in. The old ones. They're still being remade but they're giving old mode.

Do they look like the card room? It looks like someone's basically squashed into old man's face and just made a thing. It was so lazily done as well. I've got an evil in there, to give it a revelation.

The vintage one, which list on Amazon? I know that the new ones are fantastic. Well worth the money, but I can't believe. I remember them being really easy to break as well because they used to be like the ones with the elastic with the arms and stuff rather than the head.

It used to pull apart because they used to be like the legs and the arms and nothing was attached by the elastic in the middle. So he twisted them the wrong way. He used to snap at the... Oh yeah, and then she wrote when we put our head back on.

He used to come down here so she had me neck. It looked ridiculous. But that was the spinoff though, wasn't it? Because back in the eighties, boys and girls couldn't have the same poison.

It was viewed as wrong and stuff. She wrote for the female audience as well. How did they just read Don't She R? Possibly by 15 times.

It's on Netflix. I've been watching it. It's really good. It's no while Stevenson.

I'm a comic book writer. She did it. It's really brilliant. It's really good.

I would recommend it. Good shout those. The first thing. Well, you should be your very first foray into cartoons.

Apparently, my mum killers have had originally this. Apparently, I really loved a cartoon called Boom for the Elephant. Right. I'm in the bump.

I barely remember. But apparently, I loved it. It was the only thing that we get is to sleep. You don't have to sing the theme song to us.

I can't remember. I did have a look on YouTube yesterday for the theme song and I'll be a glue member. I don't remember the cartoon. I'm trying to think now because I might have got it.

It's a blue elephant in the breeze. Her hood. Her hood is a friend. I think Kelly used to like, balloon.

I think, yeah. Yes, she did. She used to have the shoes. They have the swishy type rubber.

Bigger's on them as well. That's all that I was in a barber. That's what I thought it was. The one I remember most is probably X-Men on TV.

I knew you could see that. I could have got money on that. I'm not the best in June as well. It's not in the past.

That's the one that sounded like me. I remember most. Cartoon Network and Regrats. I remember that.

I remember going back to the X-Men one. I remember the first two seasons being absolutely brilliant. But then the ones afterwards didn't stop doing them in order and started to imagine stories and stuff like that. The animation is different as well.

It's not the same. It's not the same as Chris Claremont. Look at the lucky of the X-Men. We've been re-watching them because we're getting ready for the new series coming out.

And they still hold up to it. You can't skip the intro. You've got to listen to it all the time. I was obsessed with Jubilatia.

It was the most pointless character ever. I was obsessed with Jubilatia. I was obsessed with Jubilatia. It was a lot of people.

I was obsessed with Jubilatia. It was a lot of people. I was obsessed with Jubilatia. It was the most pointless character ever.

It really was. But I was obsessed with her. I wanted to be rogue so badly. I wanted to be a southern Belle.

I wanted an accent. She was ideal. My first ever crush was on-campus. No, Shari.

A kid in accent when I was like, oh, I'm in this. That was definitely a cartoon. That wasn't the end of kids at all as well. I had all themes and stuff about relationships and conflict and interests and stuff like that.

I was like, oh, god, yeah. The X-Men comics all we threw was all about breaking boundaries and diversion and stuff like that. And diversity and it kind of hits on topics that you don't really realize. You don't really realize that you don't like the divide between the two sides of the mutants.

You don't realize how that is. It's kind of like imprinted in how real life is. It's so good. It went pretty hard on the cartoon as well because it didn't dumb it down.

The storylines were pretty there from actual comics. That's why I think I said, look, that's out. There was a lot of my straight that used to love drawing all the X-Men like, Cartoons and he was near as not, but used to go around and see all the pictures of all the huge busts and stuff like that on the wall like Jane Grey or Rogue. Like, see the tightest spandex you'll ever see in your life as well.

And Storm was just absolutely fantastic. And I said, like, such a powerful and given a voice to someone that always wouldn't have had that voice in other Cartoons as well. I remember that time. Absolutely.

She wasn't like, no pun intended, but she was a force to be written. And you know what, there's much as they had the busts and everything and the tight spandex. It didn't feel all sexualized for the women. I'm just agreeing because that's my point.

My husband will probably agree with you, but I don't see it. Like, watching it now. I don't see it that way. Like, I don't see the sexualization of them.

I'm not, unless I'm just being really naive and I'm not looking at it. I think it is, but it's not compared to like, some Cartoons. It's not as bad as it is. It's still quite always actualized, but it's not as bad compared to some.

Yeah. Hey, I was thinking about how girls here. I knew you were going to pick X-Men all the way. I'm not going to pick X-Men all the way.

How could you not? So if you're not going to the merchant stuff, don't worry. I'm sorry. I should not win, nobody.

I know I heard you had a job run. I couldn't find me, but I was really nervous. I had to go. I was like, any time you're going to find me, I just couldn't find me.

Okay, there's probably something that is not on me. Everybody's smooth. It's smooth. It's not as smooth as smooth as smooth as smooth.

It's all for voice. So it's the voice of the podcast. It's care for me. Okay.

I think we should shut down and stuff soon for this big comparison. I've been horrendous to people as well. Well, yes. What about you, Sam?

The first memories of Cartons? Obviously, that's the universe. Huge one. I've got two.

I'm going to mention this one because it was the pinnacle of a side of all, and you would watch, you know, a side of all in TV, which was full of kids cartoons. And the one that really always sticks out for us because I lived me like by one of the characters was a raccoons. The first raccoon was my hero. Like, I'm not like, there's a reason I love striking clothes for us because we were a stretch.

But yeah, I lived me life for a bird raccoon. Like, he ate a peanut butter sandwiches. They want to eat a peanut butter sandwich for ten years of me life. That's probably all I ate.

No exaggeration. He was my absolute everything. But when I watch it now, there's no magic there anymore. I love listening to the opening of it.

Me and my husband have lost hours listening to the organas of 80s and 90s cartoons on YouTube, like hours. Yeah. And the best of ever. I love seeing now.

No, no. There's a couple of music, but like the power metal in that behind them songs, they were brilliant, but the backrooms won't always, like, get us a bit. It's definitely because I love, I absolutely love this, but watching an actual episode, I'm like, oh, yeah, I'm old. I don't get it anymore.

I was to be a fellow. I've probably spent most of my time confused about raccoons trying to work out what's their name was meant to be. Was he a pig? Was he a dad vogue?

Was he a rock-own-ad-a-pig? Did someone have any answers in my graciaships with Batman or? I think he was an arthog. I think he looks like an arthog.

He's a little like an arthog. No, they were just these family were pigs. No, they were just these their henchmen. I thought he was family members?

No, I'm sure the henchmen. No, I'm sure the henchmen. He had a nephew, which was first hench. I think the nephew was annoying.

Oh, he was a Cedric. He bought a time, man. Come on. He was adorable.

And Ralph the dog. Was it Ralph? I remember the dog being cute. Yeah.

Because it might have done us, not done us, but done us from the American TV show. His dog was a sale. I just, I loved it. Like, because it was Saturday morning, like, that's what, it was a go-alive, go-alive.

Go-alive, go-alive. It was going live and then live and kick. And it was just, like, I'm trying to get me, but you were a recorder, ready to just go to the garage. Yeah.

And it was a score field because I said the winter and all of them. Yeah. Scorthield was Andy Craig, before that. Andy Craig and Sarah Green.

Yes, Sarah Green. That was actually another Sarah Green. Sarah Green? Because I got free, Andrew, of course, that's Sarah Green now.

Everyone got free because of her being honest, because she was, like, she was an absolute sweet child of Tele and she's doing a ghost program. It really, really, really people, I got y'all, but yeah, I reckon it's definitely the number one place. I'd love to do a death met and a version of the Ryan's thing. Please.

Also, if you're taking requests, Kev is, because Kev is one of the ones for us, I love the cabelles. I still got a lot of teddy bear and they're doing me absolute favourites and I still watch the movie the other day. The second one. The second one.

I'm the one with the boog that's the only photo. I used to collect my little pony because I was obsessed with horses and living very rubbery. What do you do with this horse? Every time he comes on I always say something inappropriate.

I'll put a disclaimer on as well. Do not try this at home kids. Or do. You know what I'm talking about.

You want to watch the movie? Have you ever got a broomstick stuff I've got to get to take off stand as well? Watch the existed. The Thunderbolts got to take off as he used to vibrate and all the families used to find.

I'm a good actor. I'm a good actor. I'm a good actor. Bob someone please move on.

Right. Mine was probably a little bit more innocent in some shows. It was the raccoons. I'm sorry people if you listen.

Mine was probably. I'll call the brony. We'll make money through some of those songs. Welcome back.

My name is Tommy Jerry and the dad was a huge like old school like fan of like the others watching all the old And like marks were the films and stuff and I was very under like Laurel and Hardy So it was round about the same type of humor. So Tom and Jerry I remember I say the when because I said it wasn't really all the time whether the black me and woman gone to harvest Not sure who was really the bad guy in that too because Jerry was a little shit and used to wind Tom up But Tom used to be like to go around the houses to do everything you kind of get this mouse But yeah, I'm sorry but Tom isn't angel. It Jerry was the instigator. He was just defending himself I'm gonna defend a cast and so yeah, Tom was an angel the movie that the day in the 90s brilliant It's absolutely what you hear them talk for the best time.

I lost it for me because I Because it was a type of humor where you didn't need and like see that they could do so much We can't own back in the day or where I see it you kind of got it and They've moved on from like say Tom and Jerry which I absolutely adore so do this I think the humus there when we're in the bulldog and the bulldog son in as well As it was the stake hole with the one in the middle My dad works in the butchers now you asked my dad about that music. Yeah, that does not exist at all The Roger Rabbit effect was like half-action half-cart and from there moved on there actually the learning terms in Hannah Barbero I remember watching Swiddly did Lee on Adam Ant was it where you had a helmet and he was like Adam and he used to Think it was yeah Swiddly did Lee and see what school as well I think my wings made of steel was clearly a Batman ripoff was just absolutely perfect I actually adored like to type of animation as well I suspend like when I had time so I was okay I used to spend drawing these as well and trying to replicate and probably why I'm such a big Disney fan as well Like so classic animation stuff Yeah, it's a still motion one and Yeah, and I love the books money car room. I do the Valkyrie. Yes.

It is one of the best Like it still stands up today. I absolutely loved it. I love these people elmified. Yeah It's it's it's perfect still like I'll quit go away now and watch it and it's age.

I loved it. I love it Has anybody seen a cat burglar on Netflix? It's a new cartoon with interactive And we put it on the other day just off something after watch it's interactive You basically get questions at the bottom you've answered the questions and not pick the outcome But it's probably like it's so Hannah Barbera like the animation the the story it's like a proper throwback if you can't do it It's not very long if you haven't seen it is really really good It was saying there was a ride in Florida. I believe it's the Shrek right now or Jimmy Newton or something like that But that was once the Hannah Barbera experience And you got to sit in the chairs like 4d moving around the screen kind of thing It was all Hannah Barbera Carter.

It was it was lovely But I think I got replaced with Jimmy Newton or the Shrek writers on that same street right? So was our university or Yeah, yeah, the old one and the original and it was good because I've been going Florida since I was 15 So like in the 90s and that was just it was a house. It was just perfect Like it it's the back of the future right there. It's so badly like the lines and everything was so blurred by the time It got taken out that one didn't it was still it was still perfect.

It was such a shame to remove it I actually don't know that right. That's funny. I'm not I'm not going to get into the big debate about like what was right? What was wrong at the time was oh, yeah, it's difficult one definitely But there's only turns I think one of brothers have made a mistake where Disney haven't in a way Because one of others are now re-ed and cutting stuff out with the cartoons I'm not sure on certain characters and not sure in certain episodes It's kind of like going the wrong way about it where Disney put the ones up This is not the time and stuff it out which I think's a bit more acceptable and all Like say the big one which causes a lot of controversy online is the pebble pubing totally omitted from like history Yeah, no, like say no needs a strong sex festival at the time.

It's It was childish human stuff like that. But if they explain that this isn't acceptable I still think he still has a place in in my history and mixing cardins and stuff like that If I still get if I still get in pop big as a chubby bravo, yeah I'm not a chubby like you. Yeah, that's like the biggest surprise as well I don't even thought about that, yeah You kind of raise things from history because it doesn't fit the narrative to how it is today You just learn from them. You learn from them and you grow from it.

You don't need to erase them I don't think anyway But I think that's where my little great was like because I know all the loony tunes where everyone was going all excited because of Going on HBO Max over in America I think certain aspects like was called out because they were scared like Except again, I could be wrong by no things like books when you dress like a girl rabbit and stuff like that I was supposed to be and not taking well But again, it's it's a sign of the time It's the human stuff I got there's an innocence to it which I don't think people kind of because they're not meant for adults They're not meant for to be taken seriously like I'm sorry But books when he put in character in a shock on the stock and get his head blown off But uh, like hard eyes love the battles between like say a dirty duck and Well funny like them that little like when you go head to head used to just piss me so laughing every day Many nicknames like I called by and one of them is tweet me pie because my cheeks I could be worse it could be called worst thing shall we say I Like the celluloids of the art owns and stuff Blowing mind my dad's got a CD of daf Christmas songs and we'll play it every year when I put the Christmas trail and on it is Was your favorite lunita and curry good please don't say a pebble you I Always like marvin the Martian getting involved There's one of them often the Martian episodes I remember very little about it other than it being trippy as anything. It's like a chase sequence whether the run of the remnants But it's all glass platforms. I think it's in the daffy dog And it's like a riveted memory from childhood but I haven't seen that cartoon since I was a kid I think yes that it could Marvin the Martian probably sculpted who I am today look because it's quite dark It was a quite a because he just wanted to destroy the world wasn't it that was his well mission He just wanted to kill everything and duck dodges. I think was as well.

I remember quite think I think the Dodgers in the 24th and a half century. Yes, yes He's a sidekick as well than this Mine was probably a little bit darker as well and when it done the dick tracey send up and Daffy duck was going through all the big crazy cuz get flat top Piano mouth and mitties always weird characters that was just getting scary and scarier But I love how scary these cartoons it because they were hilarious But they were quite dark and like took you the place as well Like if you think about who are you in roadrunner? All you want to do is have a big thing with the shitty put through? Oh bless him Stop finding at me because I need to skim all the shit Agni I am so basic like folks buddy.

It's just hilarious like I absolutely love that character So I'll do the impression sitting there you have to know you've mentioned Oh But I think the front tinytons something Spielberg kind of involved with it wasn't it? Got released because they had many cartoons in between cuz I was at where they got thinking the brain and the pigeons In the very not many acts I thought yeah, I'm trying to think cuz I need to do that the same dynamic for yeah Because the tiny teams used to be like a used to have their episode But used to have like little mini episodes of like cartoons in I'm sure thinking the brain was a short I could be wrong if someone's in the chat tell us I'm coming But I remember coming out as a short and then it don't it got like a massive hit and the brother calling for same With the three pigeons like the the mob boss and the two dumb dumb like henchmen And the captain like trying to guard the statue and stuff like that. I can't remember the premise of the car and just how ridiculous as was But I'm sure you're gonna be like who do you work for? I I I'm sorry literally bad on still I'm getting told off by Michael good will in the chat is in the end grants right about the enemy and he acts and I I The white noise until the car It was basically this kid trying to get to his dad but it was getting she's down by these Like this group of aliens, but they used to have plants as bagels that turned into and it was bizarre concept Well, I never they never found these dogs because I was a dad was like a and her biologist So I remember it that was like I was the first car and I started then it was like shorty and George I Tell you over and be like you Oh I I was always a big thundercat fan over he man.

I like him and with undercuts was my job Like that was where I have the video tips I start the costume address of us as I know I don't know But I didn't realize how many series the bean because in in Asia it took off bigger than it was over Massively we got the Monday video. They're absolutely quite a few of them And so you can still go you haven't still got you got it reborn for him because it's a childhood memory of him Kerry and you use a curry sold around them everywhere so few years ago for a Christmas. He's just about him The sort the plastic the kids plastic No It's the like The range of action figures back at the time pretty much the arms just went up and down I think the biggest sorry didn't the cat's Back and if you press the top That was like a ring thing you put on with a leg the pen The book I think the other cast figure range was a bit cold in the human as well Yeah, yeah, it was much bigger and there's a request being made in the shuttle right and Michael once you do cosplays line up How do we make this happen is what we should be seeing not I I'm getting for I The power sword what was mama's end goal was it just he wanted to you a domination Hmm Golden names as well as mine or Chittara panther. Yeah, yeah And snar Yeah, those have like a half this little pet character like female had all own Battle cat and snar Was an interesting one but what did mama have like them frog people as well as his little side kicks We're in you can't get a Wasn't even going that shop and I don't cuz the had the original under cat figures in But we couldn't get near them because they were like right in the back I had the five house in from Ghostbusters In box how much it's free Oh I think To the point where I jack which again was absolutely amazing.

I'm glad actually brought that back Yeah, so one for your Few other than Disney show we say To one of whom I won and made one Stitch one where I had to go around friend in all the different experiments And Network Processes It was a Disney channel and I I'm I think at the time there's a lot of competition back here and around about that time because when Disney and as you said with recess Was one of the best Disney the Disney Cartons I did come out but Nickelodeon went big at that time as well But some of the card and I'm Nickelodeon was a really good like our real monsters like the premise of life was just absolutely brilliant And what was what was the call because you have the one with the car these eyeballs any Obelina and chrome. Yes, that was it But like to that was just stupid hilarity But like it was kind of like off-the-wall animation as well It wasn't a clean lines and everything wasn't perfect which we were used to was like to the Hanavarra and And like say to a degree like P man and thundercats were amazing artwork, but then when the audience came out and see my car And where it was a bit sketchy. It was like odd shaped it was like different And trying to think of the other ones in the audience as well. I love like a dog Animated show of all time genuinely worship that series is amazing You just felt so sorry from us although like the whole premise of it But I think it was like renin stentley that's all because it wasn't Nickelodeon renin stentley wasn't MTV That's Nickelodeon did push the boundaries for a lot of things with especially the car then wise It wasn't trying to be a kid's TV channel Batman.

I think I wanted to be more teenager because with Like I said we're kind of network one for like more adult things and sort of Nickelodeon And what was it trouble as well? Wow Lordian came out it was at a time when I was like a tea I was a property major and I was watching the cartoons I was there for Clarissa This is just a Alex math like all the teenager read things So I never really got that even like I don't think I stuck around long enough on my kid I had the telly didn't know what she was watching because like we're here in Charlotte like almost same age So she would have been watching exactly what you were just adding his never in the house to do that I was just kind of on either netflix Yeah, I'll tell you what the world eats them all there's two shores that were absolutely brilliant One we ahead of the time if you find like not caught in peat and peat the ventures are Peter Pete With our either strongest man of the world there was this weak nerd but And my favorite and I asked at your door just for one reason tepanga boy needs well Yes, that was very grown up That was almost too grown up and I used to love us here high and Hang on mr. Cooper and California dreams and stuff Six weeks holiday is you would have on it the California dreams saved by the bell And then it would be like all of it like I say by the bell special whether in Hawaii or something And then I go out for the date and that was it out for the rest of the day In the college years as well. Yes watch them I told you man.

I wanted to live that American lifestyle. There was a closest thing. I was getting to it was them It was all about Sabrina for me Sabrina the original Sabrina teenage rich. Yeah My mom does that for A lot of them show us how the age well that Sabrina has And we still pull one of the jokes from there when he's when Salem's dressed up as a mafia boss and he goes around the table and he's like I want to introduce you to Dom And Dom I love that program so much.

Yeah, like the backstreet boys and roof wall were on it. Yeah And pen and tell her I think some of the cartoons as well like And maybe just me being all the stardry but I had some fun and And like when it's just a start like if you listen to podcast before we get work came live Like we had the gummy bears on that was one of my favorite just like gummy bears bouncing here and there and everywhere And that's beautiful thing online but like all the different What was the other one? I saw a chit chit chit chit chit chit chit chit chit chit You're right. Yeah, if I go in see you choose ducktails Um, can I just answer something with Laura Laura's just said anyone remember city guys.

Yes, Laura loved it would still watch it today if I could find it I can't remember it. It was It was it was it was on channel four and it was just two teenage eyes I know literally what it was from when I remember We are great about your grand point of view favorite thing tunes. Um, I'm gonna go back and be previous on something because it's a B52 Oh, I won't have to revisit what was my life as I remember instances and but I think I didn't hit as warm as much because I think it was a little bit too adults for me back then But I think I'll probably enjoy it more now. Yeah, then you have a little dog that was quite whiny and stuff as well Yeah, a little dog called spunky and then you had to frog next all neighbors and like the husband was always really really miserable And the wife was always just out for some cock Every time we found a way should be started on there and like hello raco Was this friend called heifer or something like that?

Oh god for me, I watch a lot of the intro was like I mentioned earlier and there's one that always if I think I can't do It's when the ear is it gets stuck in my head and it's in there right now and it's Ulysses Ulysses Ulysses Ulysses It's always gets stuck in my head I never liked Brave Star I don't like it. It's just be bold. No, but I really like it I think Brave Star missed me by but um what was the other one? The thing either city of gold Oh, oh, what's the song called like it's like Oh That used to be a channel for one the city of gold one.

I remember that It's probably it's oh, that's what I know years now. It is on one of the intros as well It's good to do It depends which version nor because there's been so many I like the older one without me too Yeah, but then I adore the the 13 ghosts of scooby do it when evinson price does the no Yes, that was one of my favorites And this movie do Batman cross orders I would have talked about the supernatural one for an hour sure But I'm breathing the balls the cross order scooby do That's cool If you talk about intros that's one of the best Such amazing guy That is probably one of the best intros that's in gem come to kill him He is it a lovely kind of counter killer dark wind duck That window You Is already being in the details That's right right I'm sort of awesome Class and I'll tell you what one of my obsession of me kids I've watched this TV show about carving Ridicously and I'm glad they actually finished it only if like not too long ago as well But it's got it was a fan made as well because they've done the script dungeons and dragons Yes, um, it's actually yeah, but actually because it never got home bless them But there was a script to me and it never got filmed But the fans made it so you go on youtube You can actually watch the final episode you find out the dungeon master and the evil one is he sun And that's like why the why the battle and stuff and then when they've become one or something like that They get the kids back home for the party do get home But yeah, don't do dragons with um makes it I've got the thing when I had to take the magician the warrior The the meage the meage and as well because that probably's got a lot of people into um Is it don't do dragons heavily back in the day? 100% 100% honestly, um I'm trying to think of other ones from that list And but you will say you will always come back a minute always I can't not get it out I'm watching this afternoon I want to watch this afternoon where I've forgotten how good the theme song was defenders of the earth Defenders I would say that that's I'm like that's got a proper amazing power Like uh Yes, defenders of the Yes One as well as kind of like that was mask as well It was kind of like a transformers rip off Yeah, but not um I think I think there's so many like different carians and carians I used to love as a kid Um, I say I'm sorry Remember visionaries visionaries Um Like a magic a light Yes, I do There's so many things I used to bring out just to get toys and you said always one of the toys and stuff Divisionaries always have the cool ones as well Centuryans as well Centuryans yes That's why the thing tunes are so good though because of the jingles of the abs as well Yeah, yeah Well, um They're not the same Yeah, it's just toys and carians like hand in hand but I mean it is I don't think it was so much in the 90s though I don't think the 90s and like carians made because of figures Yeah, I don't think it would be like a Dexter's lab like figure set out about this But if you could just properly Can anyone remember freakasoids? Yes Was it on an ATV or am I making that up?

It was on an ATV because it was part of the anime And after the anime and stuff We love that Yeah, it was really good Can you remember the nonaman? No, I'm not remember the nonaman come on It's going to be a bit of a nonaman I was pretty social I don't think I just had the idea to tell you It was the general that was the five guy wasn't it Yeah, I had a five guy that was a woman as well Orange Jesus sorry But uh I loved the owner for my nonaman because it wasn't like he's just a regular man until he's a banana And like they give you a dress and stuff Yeah, I'm a little bit of a k-shirt on you It was the premise is I've got his name with the yoghlaad he eats a banana He turns into a banana man Aaric Aaric, Eric, Eric, Eric, Eric, Eric, Eric Oh, I thought he was Steven Was that not a supporting him but you Sorry I'm never gonna live that one down You're just never gonna drop this I wish you'd watch some breaks out because breaks out sidekick and breaks out That's a big, odd, mostly horse weight I'm not a little bit honest Not a lot of it touching your fingers I wish you were in front of Bocquarie as well Never wanted to Never wanted to I don't want to be for Christmas now I'll be in Bocquarie, do not worry I'm not having a unicorn one day Yeah I'm sorry So yes, Sam is not the lover of horses I can't but not for the reasons that you use that Use me a thing Wait, well you didn't say the words that came out of your mouth there Sam We did not do this thing I can't wait to watch this mark Just me trying to justify abusing all the horses Oh my god, I should never have taken a week off I always seem to do this though when grandson always It's always blaming grand Yeah I need to say it's just being quiet He didn't tell you to say that you're pushing things in and pushing things up Can I show you what I mean? I don't think we can't see it show that on here Sam We'll get to it Oh my gosh Anyways, card rooms As I was going through certain ones I know we're talking about excellent but just as good as I think it was better It was the amazing Spiderman card room Because it was two versions It was one that was early Edis That wasn't great but I also love it It was like the best thing tune It was like Spiderman Spiderman I used to have the VHS for them ones I think that was one with the meme Whether Spiderman is all pointing to each other and stuff Yeah, the other one Lizzy plus now All the Spiderman ones I know Spiderman was just a Drew Spiderwoman on there Like the 70s Edis Yeah, and then all the ones where the were from the 80s when the artwork was Absolutely up there and makes the characters as well I think Kingpin was the main bar guy in most of the Spiderman episodes as well That was like my favorite I can't even I love like that aspect Kind of see it too quite close to the comics as well Yeah, I was quite happy with that What they did to Morbius in the 90s One that made him less scary That made him even more terrifying They didn't so they thought having the word vampire in the case of card room The b2 scary So they didn't call him a vampire Instead of him sucking your blood He absorbed your plasma You what? Yeah, you absorbed your plasma But instead of having funds You had suckers and tons Yes So like he flew towards you and just grabbed your face Yes I don't see his eyes in the face That's a sub in your blood Because it's your plasma in your blood So he's not drinking your blood, he's drinking the plasma Right Right Okay Okay We found around that time, like seeing the 90s They had smashed all the superhero card rooms over the park Well, it's a great takeaway Because we're killing one absolutely nackers If I didn't see it And Fantastic Four The Fantastic Four card room Now you used to be honest at the moment before Just before we went around swimming class And she wouldn't leave until it finished She always had to watch Fantastic Four Alright, I was gonna I can't recall it I'm gonna recall it a little bit But I don't think I was Once we found, I'm gonna guess I got for you I'm not the biggest Fantastic Four Oh gosh I was never a fan of the comics To be honest I'm not even I'm really not I am excited For the Fantastic Four to be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe I think it's exciting news For the first family to be there But if John Kaczinski's not playing them I'm not interested Only first Guys grand keep selling this It's just for all the back in there Yes Just for all the back Yeah, just for all the kids Getting back Because he's dead as captain Come back as a human torch I imagine he came back as a variant But that'd be amazing Ah That would be absolutely class I'm in for that But as long as John Kaczinski's Greetings, Greetings Well, but But the greatest I can say a card in of Superheroes That ever was was the bat on the anime TV Yes Is that?

Is that? That was Harley Quinn Yeah, it was Harley Quinn Wouldn't have Harley Quinn If it wasn't for that TV Sure It was the first time I heard someone swearing a card in as well When one of the people Was telling the police off And they let that broadcast on I think I did have a card I did have a card I did have a card It was Sunday morning I think it was live in Kagan Yeah That was broadcast But I used to watch all the shit On live in Kagan Because it was a full of draws Just to watch Like Batman the anime It was used to it in two parts as well It was used to sort of It was first It was rekt didn't it Yeah, 15 minutes about in the morning Then just before the went off Off the show the second part of the TV Show was I think it was the key people Watching But yeah, I absolutely adored Like a rock animal As a drawer Yeah And it wasn't And Tara Strong as Harley Quinn It was the original vice actress And I can't Remember her name I was a carbon brand name for the life of this And I know Tara Strong came in later Because Harley wasn't meant to be A thing And we have the Monday video I can go back and watch them At any time And still be like Oh, that's amazing We got the Blu-ray voxel And it was your locker Because we needed to be able to watch Yeah Amazon becomes your friend, doesn't it? Yes No, actually Not gonna give any spoilers away Because I know some people haven't watched The Batman film out yet And we are gonna hopefully do Like I say a podcast on reviewing Batman Next week Just because it was so But if you like the animated TV show The new Batman film is very much along the lines Of this like tone, tone wise You Charlotte, you are going to love it Kev, I just couldn't Love it Like I can't like I've got a feeling that Kev will be It's like you lost the words a little bit And that is saying something I really do Yeah I'm quite a bit more now I think I think it's more for a lot of Big superhero films as well I know you're probably going off in tangent now There's not Any big surprises I'll just try and go out there It just tries to be a film And scores from ear to be But does it really well? And it gives you a brilliant story Like no bells It's all like Nothing to twist and turns It's just a decent story Something that has been completely lacking in DC movies And it is a decent story And it really gives you one more Leave it there We're not gonna go on I'm gonna go on I'm gonna go on I'm gonna go on I know I'm gonna go on I'm gonna go on I'm gonna go on I'm gonna go on I'm gonna go on I'm gonna go on I'm gonna continue I'm just getting Charlotte I'll have to choose Charlotte John I think I'll say it again tomorrow So it's fine I'm trying to think as well When we saw it get a bit older as well Because that's when I say a lot more The adults' cartoons Came in and the first big Probably born the asshole That was pure for adults And what then wasn't Like I said Wasn't unpolligenic I would probably say It was the spawn And I came out there I think it was only like one season I came out twice But if you've never seen If you've read the spawn comics Or never familiar with the spawn Don't go The film gets a lot here But it's not as bad as it As it's a thing But the card unit is absolutely brilliant It's got like Portrait and peter files in it And like It's just brutal and not nice But the artwork and everything is just fantastic Yeah, talking about the magazine There's a reason that comic is still going to do It's just like The French ones that really got off the ground Probably when it came to live action I don't know why Because the concept and the idea is brilliant It just It didn't really get there Because it's gonna have to be If you're gonna do it properly as well Yeah, sorry mate That's kind of a soundtrack Oh yeah The dance and metal cross all that thing There's some absolutely amazing tracks on that Go on, it does work For those Oh wow I remember spawning If you want to deal with Completely Like Fearful to the material It has to be hard, hard eating There's no flinching You can't do like even a 15 It has to be up there And I think that was why The film wise Didn't Well it wasn't that What it could be Because it should have It was kind of Spawn light But the card unit If you haven't watched it I think you still pick up the DVD And stuff like that I think it was only one-point season We used to be on I think Grandmention of the other day It was on Bravo The channel where we used to Do up and pretend to watch ACW just so we can get a 10 minute preview Automatically Yes It was the adult channel on TV TelevisionX that used to be on afterwards Yeah I only know that because WCW was on Bravo And then that would come on straight afterwards I was not Was ACW I used to have a few from there as well Was it?

Some of us was on TNT, turn No, definitely on Bravo I have video tapes to prove it Actually I'm making that up Could be trouble No You might be right I don't know Cause WCW was the one I was on network until WWE reported out I'm sure that towards the end That's Bravo had it on Possibly But Bravo definitely had ACW Because that was like Paulia human And Taz Yeah And stuff like that Savoo That was the first time I was just a Savoo And now we're going into it Well actually good segue As well as well Can anyone remember the WWE Cartoon Baby like very begly That was on Saturday mornings as well We had a whole corgon Chugga J- Two-car-tame-hour-hour-hour But this was going around In the tour bus Just like almost like A-team style Like fixing Or wrongs and stuff like that And I think the other team Was always the bad guys and stuff Trying to revive the cartoon Thing when the network first came out And it was like a summer camp And everyone was a miniature kid Like John Cena And Bellas were all like Miniature children And it was weird It was really weird And they tried to do that And the network And it did not work Yeah Do you make some strange calls Sometimes They make some odd choices Let's put it that way Yeah Like so remember like WWE Power Hour That was hilarious But uh Sorry Are there any like Modern cartoons that are Supposed for kids for shows That you've found like A-falling in the list Um Can I go? Yeah Um Little bit dated And it's kind of on the edge of kids And adults Because apart from the edge of Nickelodeon But invaders in For me And I love Your hand baskets As I said like Result work and everything And it definitely um Kind of tools Alowing between adult themes and kids' themes And um I think we brought it up once Before when I've been On all the abbreviated Gravity Falls I don't know Gravity Falls I remember that Yeah And it was a big thing It's on um Disney Um and maybe little bits are like sort of Charmed and Buffy the Vampire Slayer Thrown in there as well It's on the first time Yeah yeah yeah So I mean it's on the next one Peaks Yeah I'm on there It is legit that messed up It's two kids that got to say With the Rongolina cabin in the woods And it's creepy as well And then they go out and have these Weird little adventures That are very reminiscent of a lot Of the older dark-day TV shows It's like Twin Peaks for kids It's class I don't know what to do No, it's cool Obviously not I've not probably got into it Like any of the kids was I think the first one was the last one Was probably Samurai Jack Which I think was More for the adults anyway How That totally bizarre it was But um I haven't I don't think Like I can't think of anything I think of And it's definitely not for kids We're talking about before We came on Was um I've just finished Vox Machina On Prime Absolutely unreal It is It's filthy It's um It's graphic It's um It's D&D Like it is literally a campaign Like it is If you like fantasy If you like the idea of D&D Um you are gonna Absolutely love it It is brilliant We cast is a real as well Oh yes it stars Oh 100% And it is As even as D&D As I even say it's D&D I'm actually finding the characters attractive Through their voices This is bizarre feeling But this is The surprises were the earlier on next Friday Probably stuff does happen now so But yes You can't mix the two together But um But yeah Obviously it's on Prime at the moment If you get a chance to watch it You will absolutely love it But it's definitely not for kids No What about you Charlotte? Would you bring Nova? Um we We watched um Old Emmett's side amount of Disney Plus Alright Um and it's the Drake from Josh and Drake It's Chris Blythe Um and it's really good Okay It's got Nova as a teenager It's got new Paige as a teenager It's got the Tater Um and it's got loads of like Little, lots of strangers in it Like there's a lot of like Outside Marvel Yeah characters In like Spide and Unz Universe And it crushes over With other It's a period as well now so I presume it was like Um but the Hulk smash Or something like that cartoon was out with the time So that crushes over with it Um So these are all the new documents in Dr Strange too as well So The Hooty Bends But yeah we we put it on not really thinking much of it It was a time where we kind of fallen out Was like Cartoon's a bit They were all in a scene And the animation wasn't as good And like all of a sudden we're just like Binging it I love when you get something like that So you just It just comes out left but you don't expect it We have some love for what we get in a program like that We did the same with Rickleberry as well Which is absolutely not a good cartoon Oh, Rickleberry Rickleberry Have you seen Paradise made on Netflix?

Yeah I've got to Just see it It's the same people Absolutely Not a kid's cartoon But very funny I know a lot of people Um SpongeBob But then I kind of Yeah I kind of never I must have passed me But I almost mean two Or like Two of these ones But um I don't think It's kind of networked Doing original content Kind of anymore Is it? Because I was It's being merged How are the girls are still going? Is this one the new one? Yeah The new one Is it more Joe?

More Joe is still the big bad guy Couldn't tell you I loved Mojo, Joe, Joe Was he lumpkins and She or her? The devil Oh the devil Yeah The devil was sinister as well The devil was sinister Definitely question things One of the fondest memories Of power puff girls I would have probably been about Twenty-two, Twenty-three Watching it really late In either one episode Where um All of the villains got together And like Decided to join forces And they called themselves The Beatles And then it cut into this Mad Little animation So they call uh villains From power puff girls Reenactment All of the Beatles album covers It's like them signing their Sergeant Pat the Ghetto And then they're walking across The Abbey Road And then they're crossing And sitting there Obviously path copy And that time of the night Just one of what happened here Is this really really really happened Ahh Ahh Can we um Can we talk about Charlotte's mum's favourite so far? Because I have a lot of I have a lot of love in that programme Like still to do It was a game changer Like it was a proper game changer When I came out Yeah like how grown up did you feel when you were watching that? I always felt like I was going to get in trouble for watching it though Because you kind of like look around and see if your parents walk Could you walk in there?

I couldn't even walk in the east I couldn't even walk in the east I couldn't even walk in there Okay Because it was on a Friday night Wasn't it when it first came out Because it was on I have a before or after Eurotrash I used to love Eurotrash I absolutely loved it Because Friday night was always like the danger zone You used to watch Eurotrash and hope your parents didn't walk into what the fuck you're watching And then So I parked in one I really didn't care I wasn't that bothered I gave the walk in and called us watching it I used to I loved Jean-Paul Gaudier So I used to love watching him on there The only one time I got freaked out And I tell you I was when I thought I was going to catch his watch and say real mum I don't know why It's not that bad But no one's low But no one's low What was better films? Hey There's nothing wrong with the dirty shame And no it's south path Like for all it came out What mid 90s? Yeah Still loving it just as much as I did up then I haven't lost any love for that program whatsoever I think because it's not It's like the one that shows where it's not scared And it doesn't It reinvents itself It knows when it's when the joke is is outdated And it'll move on to the next joke And it doesn't pull its punches And it doesn't say I can't touch on this element I can't touch on that Oh absolutely not in the Tom Cruise One was just brilliant Like they did not give a shit to their upset And so what's going to just say Nothing I just got a message from you man I'm saying me and dad watch Eurotrash Excellent Did they just like go off for our as well Come on around It was a me as interested piece Can't wait for your man to come on now I'll tell you what used to freak me out though Or south park Well not for it because I still love it to the state of the The Indiana Jones episode When they've got George Lucas and Spielberg replaying Indiana Jones And the idea is he's raping him He's raping Indiana Jones The Michael Jackson one with the airplane Oh Jesus Christ That was brilliant I don't know And member Member Member Member I can either Because I think he is Right after the top of his sort of Scientology as well Yeah yeah He was fine with everything else To be taken with his I've got But who would you dare Touch Scientology And he is out of there And the episodes where they are Doing the quests Which ends the point part of the game That was released Which is still to this day One of my favourite games to get true It is It's phenomenal The second one Not so great But the first one is just brilliant Who've you got? Who've you got?

Really man Oh he's hiding I've got putters Behind me picture frame Which was one's belong to me sister And she was going to check on that And I was like And I love the new episodes as well And the one that really didn't I wasn't too keen I was the whole series about the election That wasn't the best I know but that was for a reason though That had to happen as well But imagination and Like that three part was Fucking outrageously good So Russell getting ripped by Christmas Crit as one Absolutely so beautiful He's fucking my eye That's my eye They're waiting for you at it Horrors I think we should have been involved with the The stories I've just thought of Shaveling in the bad times I'm going to go there by stop yourself I'm going to be good Who showed it? I'm going to leave me I was looking at it No, I would have used to Which show was it grand? No I'd only show up in the house I'd have to do it Yeah Was it a tag team after that one? But I am I'd say all the episodes are great But I like to tell as well Because the Kenny jokes were getting a little boring So they got rid of that for a while But they were missing The broadened back It's like no one thing I know Like say the one big with tagli farms Like say the other season When Randy Marsh become a drug dealer Or the current That was just Yes Just recently watched them ones They haven't seen that audience go under That's how it is That's why they're even more interested Like it's not changed from the beginning But listen to the audience And you can hear the audience exactly what the ones Oh absolutely The fact that they're not scared Is even better And Grant I think you picked this one time The movie The side half movie I'm going to work on it all picks Honestly It's still hilarious to do Just even like the son who's saying Which is like We had so much worse after him It's still absolutely hilarious The music in that as well Like he's just brilliant The Kyle's Man-Zong Still stands up for me I think it's fantastic And Metallica Doing little while you're going to hell I love it But who's your favorite character And sell bathroom?

Because this is going to be a hard one So we'll go with Charlotte Because I'm having a very short time I'm probably shouting off the wrong one here I don't know Probably Carlton Carvin Why? Because he's a nasty piece of work Yes He really is There's no record about him No one you're kind of just on the camera And it is What you're laughing at before you did this? Yeah And after I'm going to go with your grand Or Randy Marshmick I actually have a parent with balls He really is I have to say when he's bald And he gets the answer of the bald And he doesn't have the bounce ball The bounce ball around Just absolutely this way Yeah Got a shit Randy Marsh gets up to What was the one with the poop With um With Bono Oh it was the biggest shit The biggest shit in the fucking world Yes Yes Yeah It's just got the bit at the end Where he does these muscles Don't just spiral Oh my god Oh my god I know that how many times I watch it It wasn't that It wasn't that Came up because of you two Making everyone who had an iPhone Have the album On the without them permission Yeah You put it on there I think I've still got it So there was that many people kicking off Of being given a free album from you Two who had a good pick of the choice to remove Because you couldn't have you removed At the time Oh yeah It was so funny What about yourself? Oh budders 100 cent budders Oh today Yeah Timmy just reminds of the eight Special yachio And everyone just got Showed it when I was trying to sleep So pissed his office and run Yeah And No but the budders Because jonese But is he's adorable But he's carried it in the game When he turns into He's big ass It's brilliant I love the professor chaos I said I'll probably say Butters as well Just Just because that's it That's a professor chaos But he's good to hear Hey carbon you can look Yeah I'm gonna hear Is it like going to look at cage And stuff like that but he's the key But uh My two favorite episodes I bought was episodes like Yeah The patch time everyone where they Are Defak she's on death No sorry that's not the patch time Everyone the patch time Everyone is the one where they find out That he's dad's gate And the mother's the She drives him off And then you rip it And um Carsel's more Just with Mr.

Slaves Oh But I like to say But is he just like The eternal optimist Like there can be a shitty Is there one room he's like Okay guys He's just low He's just absolutely low He's so cute He's the nicest one out of all four Of them like even Kenny's a dick one he wants to be Uh but I said Because it's Kyle Stan And uh Kind of the other ones But like all of them I love the episodes When um Cause Kyle's sister Or Stan's sister And grandpa's in When grandpa's is water Around the stream Kill me Stan And uh So try to get A bit Kind of murder Cause he's like sick of living and stuff I just saw on On the nose and saw Raw as well But there I've got a lot of time for South Park A lot of time If you get a chance to find the Um The mini little I will long document you That's on I mean like Stop on YouTube And essentially in the Megan of the South Park And how they do it Literally in episode takes a week From like Right this room to Megan And but they do talk about themselves And their relationship and Friend of all it is It's lovely lovely to watch Really is Talk about like the adult comedy As well I love just to move on from South Park Going to the other Like not as to the degree But it's me in a comeback as well Futureama That was I was just finished Very much in it Yeah because everyone loves the Simpsons And stuff I have a future on To me was always better than the Simpsons It was never my never my Coppity But my ex loved it So I had to fight out the watchers But it was never really my thing Yeah but no I love Futureama Like all the characters like They're premise like Welcome to the future Like tomorrow and stuff like that But they had like good episodes Where I was just straight out Humid like Cal Colon What you call Zach Brownigan Episode is just absolutely hilarious But then make the ones that break their heart as well When it's not so sorry The two of them Yeah, he's weird in there You waited for room Let's not We're gone It's all break I'll see more Hold on You can't hear the front room Yes Oh I didn't come back No The one The one where Fright thinks he's brilliant Like we've got really famous of his story It's actually his nephew who was named after him Yeah On his heart rate as well Oh my god Brilliant Also The episode where he finally gets a lay there And has his perfect life But then has to go back and change it So everything works And he may have sacrificed him when he came back Why did they do this? It's just good writing It's really good writing It's heartbreaking at the same time Yeah Yeah we've just finished re-watching it It's not about it How brilliant is it? Yes When he's on the moon He's on his way down I'm just gonna create the one Cosina with Blackjack and others Just like Just like a hulk It wasn't the dispute Cos it's coming back It wasn't the dispute with the voice actor He wasn't going to do it Now he is going to do it Yeah because he's okay He's okay Oh But The offered of very Very little Very little His Joe and John DeMaggio John DeMaggio That's it I was gonna say George and Mary Very different person Yeah Cos he's done John DeMaggio has just done There's some chunk with as well On Netflix Which is Mac Ronan Not as great The first season was funny Yeah Then after after after after But yeah But I still watch it Cos I like the whole demon casting I think That's always quite Yeah I think I'm going to give it a try Like The song is running He used to watch it And I just wasn't like In love with the big family Can anyone hear that pass? I thought that was a pass That was a pass That was a pass She sounds it My gosh Can anyone Oh what was I going to say Oh yeah Family Guy was my My thing Like I still To this day I could put Family Orange Just felt like too much It was me Go to sleep Like Come for the kind of thing But Also what about Spurgers?

That's probably more like I said more important now It is brilliant And I just keep them better And you don't think there's 12 seasons of it out there No and it's We're getting a movie Yeah The Bobsberg is a movie Have you ever sat and watched The Cast talk As the characters Which is as themselves No I don't want to do that Honestly it's so surreal Because obviously Linda's a man And the guy who plays the So it looks like him Like it's quite smooth It's brilliant though Like Bobsberg is just I remember someone caught in Linda And just go with Spits, Spits, Spits, Spits, Spits And that's why I watched it To see what we're talking about I think why Bobsberg Works so well The characters are so real Because it's not It's like it's set in a cartoon But the situation is That they find themselves in It's really like It's a struggling restaurant owner That's hardly pay as the rent So these kids are just absolutely money You can't have a store over the road I would punch him in the face If he was real like Oh definitely How Bob hasn't been arrested For putting him under his ridiculous Tina, that was it It was Tina who was sitting in the Lipschamp She's the best I was going on in the last And Tina was just It's fantastic But Tina's a brilliant Yeah, that's why you're looking at the watch Show me glasses and Put me fringe down I just love Louise though Like I want to be Honestly, I'm the bestie I want to be Louise I really do I think Johnna reminds us So much of Louise Oh, I'm a good concept She's like There's no fear in that girl What sort of weather? I think Johnna would actually Take Zebo When you think about I know it's just Quiet at times Bless her but she definitely has other ways element to her When she gets going If you ask her to do something She will do it Look at how he has what she does She's shaped her head She's shaped her head Charity The girl has no fear I love you Donna, I really do I don't know if you're off at all I can't be adore you It's honestly We've got an off shit on you now The last of the lifetime You can't say what you want So that's fine No, I just Honestly, I wish I had Some of that Some of that Was I'm not on the floor Courage Moxie Well, I'll also go on a show Yeah, definitely But yeah, Bob's Burgers It's just fine I think it's something to that I think Me and Charlotte's big fans of this Archer Never watched it If you like Bob's Burgers You're like Cross over the neck Because it's the same item Of both Yeah, same guy, voices But actually there's Bob So whenever Sorry, he does a Does a secret mission Why he pretends to be a burger Joint, Tony puts a tash on him And stuff like that And the device has from Bob's Burgers Or in a couple of scenes of fire So I think Yeah Oh, that's brilliant It's done really well But Oh, sorry No, I'm just saying Like there's a lot of cardrooms now I think We were spoilt as kids Back when we were gone Because we had such variety And stuff like that I don't think kids these days Again, again, I know I'm just like watching If we're roasting the glasses I don't think the artworks is good No, I'm saying that I don't like opposite Can't even take my nephews Went through Ben 10 In the night garden It was the three years Shit I have ever seen Nine nephews Got an eagle pigle Eagle pigle Yeah, eagle pigle Bloody teddy bear That had its hand Had a blunt and a touch It used to come like that Was it? Was that a thing? Was that a thing?

Yes Uh huh Oh, fibbiuson Uh fibbiuson Fibiuson It's a great boat Not too bad I mean by my say Right though Yeah I think Jacob used to watch them When he was a kid And another Disney Channel My youngest nephew was obsessed With the Mickey Mouse Cove Right Hey, I see Okay, you back Yeah, you didn't see Yeah, you used to be Absolutely obsessed With it Um Which I think is all about Port Patrol Port Patrol Which was a bunch of Square Panz was another Massive one for my nephews Probably did still watch it Do you even have the chance? But that's all about nostalgia That's the thing Because I was going to say He's been going back Watching all the cartoons Uh from his yesterday Probably If you watched them now For the first time They wouldn't probably have the same Effect It brings back them That memories that course That's when we were all Innocent except from Sam Who just abused everything There's so many cartons Yeah There is so many of them And that's largely what you're doing With the advancements in animation Because you've got like You still got some hand drawn ones But you've got like CGI ones And you can fit them out Just saw quickly Exactly where I was like He's named his They were all majority of the hand drawn In the top time they do So the winner is ready So the one is much trace No But we have to appreciate it a little bit more Yeah, the best choices I think a lot of them didn't get many Like Ah Like Think of them now Watching them all the time But they probably got like one season Not two seasons Yeah, you probably watch them You probably watch them Yeah, you probably just watch them Repeat over and over again Just not realizing it Because if you think about I don't know how many episodes of Catch the Pigeon actually was With Dick Daskin And so that Probably wasn't about 10 of them But I think they're all Wacky Races But Wacky Races I was just I don't even remember Wacky Races last in forever And it was mainly just the same episodes Yeah, it was absolutely Class we used to watch that on a morning Before we went to school Was Wacky Races I guess so annoying Like it's Daskin's Like if you just race like normal You would fuck and win You'd know then My laugh If I really like go into my full proper laugh I end up sounding like Motley Like really bad I'm not gonna deal with them I'm trying to think of it Because there was loads of different types And I was like Dick Daskin I'm only That's it I'm gonna kill more I'm gonna leave it So I'll leave it so And the monsters All the monsters All the what they call Creepy something The creepies The creeps Creepy the creeps Yeah, because the burgers weren't Yeah, because the burgers weren't Yeah, because the burgers weren't Yeah Yeah Trying to think of all the different ones There was all of them Capping Keith running as well Capping Keith running as well Yeah, a vague recollection of that So you're tripping Because I know they've got all these Model cars and stuff I got out by the set of Wacky Races See They do like a Skylactrix version Sorry, I just got a name Right Rockslag Rockslag Rockslag Yes It's the two guys It's Keith Men Right And they'll call it Rockslag They'll call it Rockslag I'm not even jaw-hopping It's right there I'm gonna go on Rockslag Wow That's the guy that you should always see If it's Rockslag and the Revelslag Sorry He calls up with these things She'll call to them on my exes Ooh Ooh My name is Matt It's gonna be It's gonna be Kevin Kevin Koehman The Angel Morb The Greatly Crawlers Can help you pitstop Any con permit Rockslag And Robslag were a thing Because it's one day Google And Brock Oh, is this just your Google Air search? Is this really always a word? Is it Jimmy?

What are you gonna say? Is Jimmy? What are you gonna say? You're gonna get some very tickle Air Marlin 3-4 Now we're gonna search I hope you're using Condigued or mobile I can't hide shit these days Oh, that's...

Yeah, like say a catch the pigeon As well I used to love that What's a catch the pigeon? Catch him At least come up with like the most convoluted weirds that just catch a pigeon Like cleanser I used to like slap at them And stuff like what come off with this Just shoot it? Yeah Shoot the fuck right in them I hit them I hit them Oh, yeah That was cool And top cats? Top cats?

Top cats He was a corrupti He was a corrupti cat Oh my gosh, I'm trying to think of a bunch Inspector Gajet Inspector Gajet I can't think of that much in that fish, yeah That was a Yogi Bear in Google I loved Yogi Bear Hey, little boo boo boo That's one of his first friends I've had a number of jokes That was really good It was so good And I'm like a pink rayon G-crayon You're not Charlotte's time I'm a crayon Yeah, I'm a crayon Because I was at I used to have love doobie I kind of even mentioned The Peanuts Cart in Charlie Brown Like, uh, See Charlie Brown I hate that Fuck you Fuck you He's awful I can make Snoopy But I hate it Charlie Brown I used to love the Christmas episodes Like the big specials And they have the grand high popcorn I think I'm gonna have to Yeah The Snoopy of Jessup is the red bar whenever The other sort of buying up is the rare The Snoopy was a little shit really wasn't he? Oh, it was a really good one You really were Charlie Brown's a dick who deserved it But I just don't like it He was already double-basted by his love of The wild film raised, Tinkory Yes That was a movie Because I was a movie Wasn't it? The cross-all power The real grass was that I would love to do it like a If the If the The real grass now had them growing up Just to see what happened to them It did one Um, I was in like in college It was called All grown up Really? Cause it was only like I think it may have been one maybe two seasons That has been called not-so-rogress They don't have been a bed any I'm like not-so-rogress No, they didn't want it was called All grown up Cause I think Tommy had a Purple hair wasn't it?

Amazing I got a shot at me like when I found out who did Tommy's voice Massive shot And I found out when she was on Friends The other sort of Friends where she's Me and his friend And she had a cat Yes, and she feels really kind of from her And I can hear him And I'm like Oh my god that's Tommy Pickett's Um, I love it I respect my rats No, my rat is good Um, I think as well I still have moppet babies as well I'm a bit babies Poor, can you not remember when it came to the Empire? No I would have seen them at the Empire They did like a live show of Moved Babies Oh yeah I was a cartoon It's still a puppet Moved Babies was a cartoon It was drawn Was that what I was doing? Was that what I was doing? I was having you a cute sort of thing like The book I'm talking about Oh yeah I mean I was very young I just had big memories But I did definitely want to see Moved Babies at the Empire I didn't tell Donna that she'll freak out with the Movedies She'll freak out She'll just get them Oh she's just like who's the- Who's the- who's the answer statement?

I don't want to get it No, she- She- she- when I talk about Als as well Oh my god No, don't like Als, ee-kats No, don't like Als, ee-kats Ee-the kitty cats I was only a pussy joke I thought, nah, I thought- I thought Grant was smiling Thinking about it I thought- I thought they were bigger and bigger I thought they were bigger and bigger I thought they were bigger and bigger Um, they're not messing- Well- Nessy, they're all- I'm sorry Sorry Sorry, I'm sorry, I'm gonna say Grant Oh, yeah, okay Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Just go on mate, that's one of the- No, go for it No, go for it Just because we're going like about loads of different, uh, animation styles and what- have you- did anybody ever watch a drone together? Yes! Oh! Yes, I got it, I got it, I got it Nick and Ian from Drone Together Yes, what's the drone?

I don't like these- I don't like them. I'm the name of the Nickelodeon character Who's that one? The Pikachu type one Oh no, I was thinking about the- What was it supposed to be SpongeBob? No, it was the- it was the Pikachu type one Er, yeah, I got that Nick and Ian from- What's the name?

Ling Ling- Ling Oh, bless you guys Oh, sure, no. It was- it was- it was- it was pretty good It was- it was pretty good, it was hard hard I think But yeah, because we were all- we were all, um, we were drunk and it was a game size and that came on and we all had a pick who would be which character So, er, there was one who got the game out I got that one Please, I was scared No, it wasn't I got that one Erm, my friend who has it a bit of a temper I got the little angry pig thing No, it's not- I sort of got that one Yeah I mean, if you have seen- I have not I've never heard of it There was the Betty Boop who was like slightly older and a bit It was a bit wrong as well, wasn't it? Like, it was a bit- Yeah, what's it called? Do you want it together?

Or one together If like basically the premise of it was like the big brother house But we've got one character from each major animation style So there's like a DC superhero There's like an exploitation detective from the 70s A Disney princess, an Italian character An online meme So I think the guy that's supposed to be Link at a port a month And it gets repulsive Well I'm sorry There's a character called- And they wasn't it? They wasn't it? No, it was a parment A parment? A parment channel Er, whether it's not all the comedy things it was done Er, on after a certain time Because I don't- I can see Link Adorable Erm, would Would or Stock that?

Erm, Captain Hero And Spanky Ham Spanky Ham? Yeah, he's a really angry little bit That we use on everything I guess all the time Too-tooted Bronstein It's actually very good Yeah And Hoxie Lerv Oh, Hoxie And there's one on me I don't want to see Because it's really P.C. I can't see I'll tell you after I'm caught up I don't want to see it Like, for no, like I said there's so many things that It's just going to be out trying to remember them now But there's a thing when you do this kind of thing You start listening to Hox That you completely forgot about Mm-hmm Do you want to get that was really good Because it was all the different types of animation Like each character was a different style I've never heard of it Never heard of it It wasn't mainstream It wasn't quite- it wasn't like It was on like Ah So in that If you caught it, you would watch It was never like talk to out or like Shared and civil society, shall we say it? But not with our names Yeah But I saw all the rumors and stuff like that Like back in the day with Captain Pugwash as well Erm, we used to make all the jokes So everything was made in like Or like lots of like gear references Or like Jorks were supposed to be like Fitting into the car They were just to get away with them back in the day Half of them were just bullshitting Just wasn't true But it was always got like The urban legends around it as well Yeah I don't know what I mean Yeah Two winners and two busy clean work horn That's all it was I really saw If we've learnt anything from tonight's podcast Yes It's weird because I think I remember the American cartoon board I remember I knew the massive British ones See me the way around Yeah I don't know if that's because it's like A group of me it is And we had no choice but to watch a lot of you gear Out of your own I think at the time it was like The Well Because before Sky came out We only had like the four channels And what was this?

I know And like I said I think Rubar and Custard We used to be like one of the cartoons and stuff One moon What's that? And And What's that? What moon? Fly I'm going off to but a moon Fly with Mr.

Soon Were you going to mention family nest before? I mean nest that was the one I was going to ask But they're only like five Minicart moons and stuff The ones that were On your own Jim Bo as well Jim Bo Yeah Yeah That's like Brave Star though If we're talking animation It was Star animation I think Will it all be with us? Will it all be with us? That was terrifying Was it And then Yes That evil telly Kelly Yeah Let's see what's on there Oh my god What about Air Watership Down?

Fuck off I'm not talking about it Oh And I was a father in Wood Oh Father Wood Oh my father was traumatized us After What was your dad? Brilliant I can handle and heart see I cannot remember it I can't see I can't see I can't see I can't see any guys I'm not remember it But Animal's a father in Wood I used to have to be in the house to watch that Even though it rubbed my heart Still had a lot of stuff See if they got across that road That's the thing I know it was a father What did Sim just saw the road you went Oh who's gonna die this week? Because Mr. and Mrs.

Pheasant died I cried for like a week Yeah That's great I've been scried for a week I can't talk about Watch it down I can't talk to a member of But I know I will have seen it But one of the best ones As well And Michael's just mentioned It's in the chat Trapped or Don't go down But to what the net Trapped Don't know We died like that one of us It's all of you dead Dead My dad loves that kind of Animation and morph Remember more? More? What was it? What was it?

Heart attack Yeah I mean He loved that kind of animation So he loved it He just thought it was just so clever Like because at the time it wasn't You know There wasn't a talk around how Stuff was made And when you were getting sure in it You thought it was absolutely So fascinating Can anyone remember Tony Robinson doing tune time? No but I remember me and Mariam Yeah I remember that It was a Saturday afternoon Short where he would do Clippets of cardings I'm sure I've talked about this before Here as well That is no stay tuned It was called Tummed Oh I used it It was just clippets of old cardings Like from the 50s or 60s And now at that time It was really good It was not like a Saturday tea time Not a moment I'll tell you what the one I found out later on Because I actually enjoyed it But I think it was a little bit strange But I used to like that was strange And I found out the reason Why a few years ago And it blew me mind As up The live comic book It was basically all silent No talk I'm through but it was for many Deaf people to enjoy So they didn't feel like they were Like ostracized or anything like that But I some love Zapp Just like say which episode was it going to be? Was it going to be the The creepy guy with the hats He's like already slow across the thing Yeah I remember that And he's the PPS So that was the one that I was standing But when I found out the reason Why it was like that And made it so much more special for us I think No that's really it Because You should apart from subtitles Which weren't really like The one part about Telly On how like you couldn't Program the telly To put on the other one Put on Safox And put the idea Yes Yeah he had to put chords in and stuff like that Oh my god Safox I was a DnS Safox if he just went on the journey And just thought about going into the mirror Exjesus Oh my god Didn't he used to have like an Abigne hand column on there and all? Yes I like it It wasn't all sort of And then Sky had something quite similar to it My god I'm going to do a few more of the internet Yes Yes But like I said to round it up What would you say is All-time favourites Cardroom I know this is going to be really hard there Um So we'll start with Grant Uh Sange's already mentioned it as far as All-time rollers concerned You'll see So you'll see You'll see Oh my god I can't get it up here My Charlotte Erm Probably X-Men or Baikonos from Oz Sammy Oh Records Records Records Records I was probably the Me and me as a Spiderman Because I was like Even though I loved Batman I think I enjoyed the Spiderman Cardroom more I took it a long time now To get to appreciate what we're hard for the Batman now That would be either the two But probably the Spiderman I mean as Spiderman back in the day Because I could not miss an episode Spiderman Spiderman I'm going to post in a group Erm I'm going to find it still The Marvel Intros From the Oh I want to say it's 50s to now And it's all the Marvel Cardroom Intros Listen to the first few year when it introduces the Avengers It is something special It is absolutely brilliant I'm going to have to find it It's quite lengthy So you can literally just watch the beginning of it But look at how it is funny Really funny Oh I've really enjoyed it I didn't expect it to go too far down the rabbit hole I didn't expect it to go down the far fall Yeah I think it was a horsie hole not a rabbit hole there I think we're going to be looking at it at the same end of the future You're all as filthy as me So you as Colonel Schrupp I don't know how my day I breathe off the lot of years I mean Charlotte I can understand She's innocent but you too Me fair If I should have cared for someone you would have been fought Oh I don't know what you would agree with this But you're getting chinther shot as well By Martin to not mention the real horse was to something Uh Charlotte And you didn't know Yes you did Because that's how you saw the real horse was We had two videos of real horses I don't know what I'm from We used to play them on repeat And the one I always remember was the chicken shot man Who lived above the chicken shot man And the chicken shot man So you got rid of all chickens in the world I mean why not?

Um again I don't know what's wrong Actually I can't believe what I'm talking about was the turtles The turtles was a big one for me I've got a funny story that is a bit sad But I laugh about it now Because I love the turtles and I wanted to be a turtle for some reason So I wanted to be a tree dara No not a tree dara I know Lionel I've got to be a man outfit as well So don't worry I've got all the cosplays when I was a kid But I never thought anything I put it away So it's okay Or you just wait Well no I was getting bullied when I was about I think when I was watching it And these kids and me straight to every time I left the house You're always picking this off or not I know I've been watching the turtles and I'll come through now So I'll be able to stick off on myself So I'll pop me back, pack me back like a shell And I put a bandana around me head thing I was going to fight them So I went outside and said I'm a turtle You're not going to pick up anything off? Guess what happened? They kicked the living shit out of this They put my line on the floor kicking it in the face And I was like oh that was a mistake So yes just by watching cartoons doesn't mean that's fine No that is adorable though But just for that little brief second You were a turtle by your face kicking That is so sweet So I need to be brothers with this one Yeah that was the problem If this watching cartoons So they're wrong about in more rats If you're reading comic books it does mean you can't fight to be a silly Oh yeah Oh that's better Does the woman know it doesn't mean I can't swing with you? Yeah that didn't go down well so yeah Oh that is too cute Unless yeah So you live in your learn You never fight as a turtle You get in the back when you're older when you're a big effing Well yes Well that was fun I really enjoyed it and I thank you guys Thank you for being on as well Grunt Charlotte it's always a pleasure Next I said I think next week we're going to try and do a Batman review Which as many people who want to come on Just to talk about how brilliant Batman is Yeah I mean we get on the only making you can make that skin right now But Charlotte absolutely hit us Which is not coming on the podcast Ever again Because your chest levels will be short on the question I love Charlotte I will always have you on the podcast You will This might have to dress up as a pony one time Does the other person say something?

Basically anybody you forget your podcast from You'll find us Yes and Charlotte's now in full swing with the boo club People are still watching the reviews and sharing the stories Which is great We are still hoping to launch the Twitch channel Where we'll be playing a few games Hopefully in the near future Yes So again I think the next few episodes as well We've got planned See we've got the Batman one we're hoping to do We're going to do We're going to talk about it I think the next one is because it's International Women's Women's Week Is that right Charlotte? It is Yes On the 13 So we're doing that on the Sunday is that right?

Yes Yeah Because did we move Podcast or something? Yes Yes We are going to do Sunday's now moving forward Just because I think it's a bit easier for everyone It's a bit of a day It's like you know I'm going to get ground on a bit more on a Sunday everly Exactly Section two for me That I'm going to do something But the thing about it You know you've the end of the week Start of the work and make Why don't you just end it with us On a smile Listen to the abuse and make sure the carefree attitude Of how the night is gone down Yes That's the main word Gone down Yes That's how I'm going to take it there Well yes So thank you everyone Thank you everyone for listening And see you in back time See you in back channel See you later everyone Bye Bye Bye So I'm there Sorry
