Hi everyone and welcome to the Naughty Puckass. It's a naughty pucker supposed to buy and Northern nerds. I am one of your most sound. And I am the other most bold.
And we are live. We are live. Promise. We are live.
We are live. Because this is Monday. Yeah. Tell us when we're not here.
Even though the recording Jess will probably be asleep on next Sunday. I'm the other way. End of the mortry and madness. Yes.
We are joined by the beautiful and the vibrations lovely and perfect. Jess. Bye. Bye.
Bye. Look at all beautiful and sultry and get all your love. Give me what to talk to them. Give me a lesson from Chris.
I would like to introduce yourself. All right. All right. How are you Jess?
How have you been? Oh good. Yeah. Next slide for the weekend.
The weekend of the UK. Sorry happened. It happened. All the well and after the biggest weekend of horror in the UK.
Look how fresh you look. Amazing. Tell you what you did well. My grandma is dead now because you annoyed Jess so much during the convention.
That Jess has basically got away with murder. So well done Jess. So yes. Yeah.
I feel like I want to stop thinking about five minutes ago. Which feels like it was. Yes. So tonight's episode.
If you haven't noticed with this. I don't know. I guess it's. I would love to say it wasn't my paper.
It was. And not for the most obvious reasons at all. I love golf girls and I love big boobs. But yes.
So Elvira was well. I'll let somebody do this before I get myself in any moment. Yeah. So everything discussed in today's episode.
Yes. Our opinions and our opinions alone. If you'd like to discuss anything from today's episode. I'm going to join us on our Facebook page.
I'm trying to see the discord. All the comments section. We can have an old discussion. We'll be born to have ears.
Anyone can't have anything wrong because we can all agree to disagree in fandom. So let's keep it fun. Keep kind and keep the toxic behavior. Out of a newtism.
Very well said. So, so this movie shall we see it. This movie is. Yeah.
Can I do the taglines before? I think that's such an icebreaker into this brilliant, brilliant movie. Yeah. Okay.
I'm going to need an icebreaker because I said I've got to keep me eyes straightforward. Straight forward. Yeah. Elvira busts out in her outrageously funny feature.
For some debut. Right. Okay. On the point on the list.
Here's the bust. Here's something you all want to pick up. Right. Elvira makes her big scream debut big scream in her hot new comedy.
Right. Okay. Here comes Elvira. There goes the neighborhood.
And the one that we all should know because it's the one that she says not only in this film, but everything that she does. And doesn't dream. I can't, I can't believe that we've been doing this podcast for three years. You do a monster podcast and we've done some weird shit.
Like we've done the monsters. We've never touched on the, like, Justin and the beauty that is Elvira. She's never came up in any of the conversations we've had. Well, well, maybe one, but it wasn't this podcast.
It was the women of nerd culture. She was one of my inspirational women. Right. And that's the only time I've ever spoke about her.
But yes, what type of league would you put like Elvira or Cassandra Peterson, shall we see it? Cause like there is icons of movie, there's icons of classics. I would put her on the same pedestal as I would put Dolly Gwan. Oh, yeah.
100%. But totally different. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. And the most perfect way. Cassandra Peterson is an absolute treasure. And I had the pleasure a couple of years ago of picking up her autobiography.
Nobody on audio was going to be able to see this beautiful cover of her. But it's an eye-obner. It's not like changing. It's certainly inspirational.
Especially for like, I was just starting monsters and you know, she's a horror horse and stuff like that. And very inspirational. A life lived is the best way I can describe Cassandra Peterson. Cause she's done it all from Las Vegas showgirl to stand up comedian to when she used to do improv, when she was the valley girl before she became Elvira, Mr.
Mr. Sir the dog, which she has then managed to keep going for how many a cell. Just okay. Just okay.
Just go on. Just doing, she's working for the horror TV channels doing promotions like the horror nights and stuff like that. And she does podcasts. I try to get to come on up here on one of my book.
And this is this is how much the class act like her the team are like I've emailed so many different tables like to try and get on the podcast or message out. 99% of them don't even respond. I think there's only been two big names that kind of responded friendly. Robert England's saying go back to it and said, Oh, we'll keep you in mind, which is a nice way to say no, but thank you for keeping us in mind.
And I think Cassandra Kate sustained didn't say a nor the went we will come on your podcast if you have such and such as many followers. And I was like, Oh, shit. That's a goal. There's a goal to try and reach.
I think it was 250,000 on YouTube that before the concert. So come on people. If you want to see Cassandra Peterson on this podcast, you need to get them numbers up. I just remembered.
I think it's 40 plus years because she did the 40th anniversary on shoulda, where she did her old setup, which I had the lounge chair and she did the movies and the last movie she did was hers. So, yeah, so I know Jess is a lot younger than us to. That's what was what was your introduction to the world of Elvirox and all you are. It's very green as well.
So this like this probably was a little bit relevant relevant relevant. I can say, relevant. You know, I got to get me to him. I know revelation.
Yes, there we go. That's why you're the brains and I'm just the chaos. Yeah. Yeah, I think.
It's like getting to like a lot like the horror movies and stuff like this. It used to watch a lot of carry on films. I'm a mum was just like, oh, this is a movie. Like she said, I'm much so I said, funny, it's great and kind of thing going on.
I think I was about eight nine year old watching Elvirox in the first time and every one of my parents thinking. We have a constant running joke about it. That it comes out in conversation of like, why did I turn out the way I turned out to press my siblings? It's like, you showed me this movie at the age of eight year old and you didn't expect to have an impact.
Yeah, that's like, as much as my parents didn't know that I'd watch this, I grew up from a very young age on rock y'horra. Yeah. What do they think was going to happen? This is a quite a smooth transition from like Robbie Horror to Elvirox.
It's quite a bit. But what I loved about this movie, and I watched it again today and again, you still get the woman fuzzy film because I know all people joke about being a baby. But this film does have heart. It is a lot of stuff going for it.
And this came out in 1980. It's on the same time as Beyal Juice, which is just crazy because if you look at the production value for the both, Beyal Juice obviously had money. This obviously didn't have as much of a budget, but what the budget had, the media, the most with it. And if you look at the type of the comedies that were coming out around about this time, like in the 80s, we just had like the porgies, I said, revenge on the nerds, like the proper sex comedy, like adolescent teens.
That's probably the wrong she type of thing. And this kind of sex comedy. The next thing was all tits and asses and like get jokes. Well, this had a little bit more class and all, like, you look at the picture, you see two fantastic assets that she had, and she used it for Elviro.
It was never like, was never just a sex symbol. She was a strong feisty and she knew her worth a lot of the time, like, fan off. She had goals and aspirations, especially in this movie. But she has never once a victim or made anyone that kind of like rescue her in this.
And I think for the 80s, I know we had like, riply, like, an alien and stuff out, but we had very few female women being as powerful as what Elviro was in this movie. Yeah, the message in her book is very clear. I am a woman. I know what I have, but that does not mean that I don't know what's going on up here.
And she's just, she's totally and ugly 100% if she's 100% confident with herself, but confident enough to know that she is more than that. She is more than what you see, because that woman is hilarious. Like, she started, she, as I said, she started as a big as your girl. Because she, oh, she, she loves a name dropping up.
She loves a good name drop. She wants a teenager, followed Jimmy Hendrix round for a bit, where she eventually got on the phone with them and it didn't go very well because she freaked out and panicked. As a Las Vegas showgirl, she got introduced to Elvis, where before he started, he's driving alcohol, he was like, you know, the, the true professional Elvis. And he won't, you say, get out of Vegas.
This, this place will show you up and spit your out and you won't, you won't have a leg to stand on. And then, she went on and she lost her virginity to a very, well famous Sam Singer, Mr. Tom Jones, who were put in the hospital. Oh, dear.
Yep. Because the rumors are very true when it comes to Tom Jones. As I said, I'm the woman of nerd culture podcast, he nearly split her in two. And she couldn't.
I didn't think I was going to that leg tonight. I guess so. The next, the thing is, though, she was saying in the next day, when she went after she'd come out of the hospital, she went to go and talk to him because he had a residency at Vegas and couldn't because his wife was there. Oh, shit.
But she saw, she saw good at telling her story because it moves on from Vegas and she goes into Brownlands where she meets Paul Rubens and she was very good friends with them. Oh, I think Phil Hartman. Really good friends with Phil Hartman. She has the whole thing of how devastated she was by Phil Hartman's death.
And then she gets the opportunity by chance to become a virus. And it's not, it's met with a lot of start with because she gets sued by famously sued by a vampire. Yeah, which went in her favor because the, the, the, the judges turned around and said, if you want to open that kind of worms, where does your character come from? Yeah.
Not just items. Do you want us to start going down that room to intellectual property because we can and vampire team back down. But I'm going to, I'm going to say this once if you really sure you want to know this woman, this book is everything. It is so good.
It is left to mark on his. Sure. And it's good that I said, because it's role model, they got to kind of like change the way and I changed the way, sorry, I changed the way for a lot of different people, like alternative or might not feel like they're in like, like, fit in or have their place in the world. It kind of gives them an out and says, right, this can be me, I don't have to fit the norm.
I don't have to be the stereotypical what everyone expects. She's, she's all I ever wanted to be when I was on first. I'm at the same age as just did, obviously a little bit fast. But I met her at nine years old, and she was all I ever wanted to be.
And I have never been able to match up to that. But it's, she was always a tiny hair is 15 black because of her, like it's just little little nuances like that. But yeah, she's all she's all they ever wanted to. I was just saying about Elvira, like being her start point being the carry on films.
The carry on films is a very British body tongue in cheek. Who are Mrs. Like, kind of like Hindu and no jokes. And this was Elvira to the team because I think I know it's short cases as a sex sexual way, but there is very little new.
And it's always just like the little jokes and all those, but she never like kind of like goes full, full hug with them jokes as well. It's very much like an American carry on film but done with a little bit more class anyway. So what I'm going to do here is I'm going to start the movie. There's like the most hilarious like kind of comedy bit with her where she's got into like her dressing and she's kicking off.
She's going to leave the studio in Lord Vegas and she's chucking like about five pairs of stockins, it's about three pairs of walkers go all to the side of the bag. The guy who's just catching them all, which was she still wearing the same outfit, she hasn't actually taken a single thing off. It's just a joke. Is she gonna step out new and it's like she just never changes the outfit.
But after the entire movie, there is a reason why you'll never ever ever sing Cassandra Peterson nude, why she never did play a boy, why she'll never ever why her dress is shit the way that it is. because Cassandra Peterson is about 70% covered in burn marks. And you would never be able to see them. She hides them so well, but if you took a dress off, you can see all the way up our arms, all the way down our side.
You don't have actually was severely burned as a child. That's the reason why her dress is the way that it is. It hides every bit of thing that she needs in. Yeah, I think I'd see the court for real estate because she was exactly what I wanted to show.
All he needs to show everything else is. Yeah. I mean, yeah, I think she is just one of those people as far as, because there is the run of all the goth female icons and it's great to see artwork of all of them all together. But when you get the difference of like, you have to be very punk-esque version, but then you have a run of Morticia, Lily Munster.
It suddenly comes very cutesy, very deep in you, a very well-prepared mind-filled. Yeah, you've got this kind of ridiculous kind of slapstick in Abilat, herself kind of person. I think that's way more relatable. We can talk about that to me over all day.
The real drops are still long. Watching it today, the slapstick comedy, a lot of people like all of us are actually not all around the heart of the heart of the game. Those are the kings of like slapstick comedy. The slapstick in this movie, even though it is a B movie and there's a lot of B movie elements, the slapstick comedy is up there with some of the best.
Like, her which is going up the ladder and just helping them take the words out when she pulls off the E slips and puts all the words in, you see here. So it looks like it says, lessons to fuck. And it's like, and then you get like the, the, the, the, the, the, the talent people look at them and like, fear and go, oh my God, she's gonna be teaching on men how to fuck. But yeah.
But it's like, that type of little comedy, but like some of the lines, the lines are doing, like the one, the most famous line as well, is that's, it would be set up on Beagle's last night because reverberated like in pop culture and is one of the best best lines on RuPaul's Drag Race as well as How's Your Head and the viral with that with that, I've never had any complaints. And again, I don't know if that joke was ever said before or any other movies, but I think that was my first ever hearing that little joke, I'll hear in our comments, but it's done so naturally as well. It's just, as I said, it's kind of like a blink and you miss it type moment. Yeah.
I see she coined it. I'm just, I'm saying she, she, she called that. There's so many other ones I'm in the love mix when they mention about the, the old bitty that runs the town. He's like, yeah.
He's like, you've got to worry about it. It's just like, oh, I felt that cleared up. It's like, no, no, the old lady from down the road. It's like, it's just a novel.
Oh, but she certainly learned from the best, like, especially like coming up in the growlins. There was a lot of talent behind there. And her relationship with Paul Rubins, if Paul Rubins wasn't doing or had just done, it was riding on the back of PB's Herman Big Adventure, he would have been in this movie. Oh, interesting.
But when you look at this movie as well, because I know people laugh about when you talk about the story wise was actually quite entertaining. Like, it was quite a fun story. And they kind of played it out and they had decent B-movie Aedes actors in there, because it's like, when we were told of Aedes, there's a lot of actresses and actors that you'll see. I've seen him coming before.
I recognized that person. And Aedes was quite famous for that. If this money, I don't see if this had a little bit of a bigger budget, I think we would have had more things coming from this movie. What was that?
Sorry, the reason I was looking down to be foreign and I do apologize, there's one woman who I was thinking, you've just done it there, you've just said, or I recognize this person from there. And it's being sitting in the back of my head. Howdy. She's in Betelgeuse.
I didn't know that. I've just seen it there. She's one of the guests. I can see it.
But that's the thing, I think one of them, I could be wrong, looked like Maine March. But no, I don't think it was, I think I just, maybe, but she looks like she. You might be right. I don't think I'm right on that one.
I can't clear that one. I just thought she looked a little bit like a good. Yeah, and even one of the people. The two most recognizable people are Chasti Pariah and the real over guys in Wayne's world.
He's in like scary movies and everything. Oh, even Gold was his two, a curfiller. But also the late Jeff Conway is in there from Greece. But the one that's just really blooming my eyes and I've just, I can't, I've kind of pictured where she is in the film, but I know she's part of the grounds and I know she's part of Cassandra Peterson's click.
It's Charlie Diasmam in Always Sunny. She's in it. Oh, gosh. Yeah, look at how fresh she is in the movie.
I can't have one of the little kinky boys as well. He's in one of the greatest sequels to horror movie ever made. He was in like, I'm straight three dream warriors. He was the wizard mustaches.
Worst scene in the movie ever. A killer movie stopped dead. I'm like, you can do anything in your dreams. I'm now a D&D wizard.
I'm like, I'm just a wotterly. Oh, go on. Number three was one of the best ones. I think I went like number four and five were in watchable in my eyes.
I'll be honest with you. That's a different franchise for a different conversation. We've already done it. I'm not doing it again.
No, no, no, no, no, no. Two of your friends is going to pull you. Yeah. We got to talk down off YouTube that night.
Yeah, because I was trying to make lips of dream warriors. I think it was, I think it was, I think it was a welcome to primetime, bitch. That's what was down YouTube was like, that's enough. Yeah, that's what we stopped using clips, I was sure.
Sorry guys. But again, a lot of people like to hear the piss out of her by the way she looks. In this movie as well, she has a pretty decent moral contest as well. She stands up for herself, as you said, at the start, when the sleazy Harvey Weinstein movie exec was, so you know, like, prerogative and...
Let's see. She lets you towards us. She stands the ground and busy. In today's, well, probably some of the 80s on 90s, she would have got herself black oop, black...
Blacklisted from any different movie or the way she acted. But no, she couldn't give a fuck. She knew what she wanted to do and she knew what it went. And even when, throughout the movie, she is, like, sexualized, but she's in control of it, but you get all these leche-perly men that can't control themselves or handle, like, say, a powerful, strong, beautiful woman.
The instalment of the guy who's trying to sell a house, and he's, like, giving it all innuendos, and it's just horrible. It's the guy who plays one of the angels in Supernatural, as well as he is. He's one of the arching. But yeah, that's an uncomfortable say now.
But I remember back then, especially after watching like the Carrion movies, men or women would have been laughing, like, their heads off and, like, not thinking about the way we probably would now, like, oh, no. Very, very, very different time. Very of its time, as well, especially. And, you know what I've just drawn comparisons to with this movie?
And the story, and I'm guessing Elvira comes first, is A2Wung Fu. The story is quite similar. Honestly, it's just come to a set and I was thinking, like, you know, because he was talking about the plot, and I was like, oh, yeah, it's just really good. Like, it's quite wholesome in a way.
And I was like, oh, God, it's A2Wung Fu. Oh, my God, they go to a town and they redo it over. And then they leave it better than it was. And that's what she does.
And then, I was like, oh, it's just being a weekend revolution. With any baby, though, that does have some fantastical and weird elements. Like, which element was just hilariously done where she was left her, Andy's cookbook. Yeah.
But one bit that had me floored to the end. Honestly, I never needed a laugh so much to the end. It actually brought me. Is when you see Elvira being left at an orphanage by a rockweiler.
Oh. And it's like baby Elvira. And it's like little bit of the cough. And it's like little baby with Elvira.
It's not a bit of a little bit of it. It's the little spiked bracelets she has on it. It's just adorable but sore wrong at the time. It's like they went in the makeup department.
How come we make this baby look as trashy? Because Elvira's makeup is perfect. Like there's nothing trashy or horrible about Elvira's makeup. But that poor child, it looked like someone has just gotten a big old bag of blood on their face.
That's what happened. That's what I'll do. And it just looked so confused looking at you as well. It's like, what's happening?
It's a pink blusher. I know she wears a lot of blush. But my goodness. It's already pink to start with.
It doesn't make any more. I absolutely adore a dog. Yes. Can we say the few minutes about how gong click is just amazing.
I saw one that dog. It's just a transformation as well. It's all little personality and how it runs around. It's been adorable.
How can the story go along as well? That's the incredible part. I've got him there. He's in the cover.
It is. I thought you had dog all full to work with. Apparently it was an absolute nightmare and the bane of the movie set was dealing with this dog. It's only like the handler.
It bit the guy from Wainsworld. He entered an actually injury on his ankle. He was like this. But it was a piece he called it.
He went for him. Like Benny or something like that. The actual name of the dog. He had the illusion of being shattered.
If you wear that dog. How pissed off would you be if you're being dressed out like that? It lost all self respect. It didn't just kind of like like how you think they actually modeled it.
And did all the different effects. That was actually on him. And the whole thing had a more vegan. We always jerk when I was a kid to see watched maybe all the time.
We had a Westie. It was like I never wrote, she was like, like if there was an ethical way to do it, which I think there is now. It's kind of cool. Yeah.
It always used to worry me when I was like, what are they actually, like, not as a child, obviously, I'm not thinking about that. I'm just like, Oh my God, that dog is so cool. But as an adult, I'm like, what are they actually using on that animal? Cause I know it's only just improved in the last few years where you can get like powdered coloring, where it's not, you know, permanent and fucking die.
But yeah, how did they do that? But as the story goes on, it does get ridiculous. I love the fantastical and the paranormal element to this movie. What they're being speaking of this is right off the stage like the B movie.
From the start when you get the spooky horrible uncle guy who wants all the powers and he gets more and more desperate and he's got a little henchmen. That's just hilarious. Why don't you just have to go viral? But when she uses the koopoo for the first time, the effects of that, I know all the practical effects of it.
This was done so well. You think it's done shit. Honestly, when you're watching back, I would love to know how they did it properly. Cause it's basically the koopoo's like hot pot and he just put cheese wiz and kettle chips in just as it made it to the soup.
And it opens it up and this monster comes out which is clearly someone's hand underneath the table. But then they pick up the pot and they move in and they drop it out with the pot and it's almost like, you know them? This is how I'm really rude. You know them bags of slime used to get that used to like, sway them, used to change the chips.
Yes, yes, yes, yes. I don't know what you mean. It was almost like that in a blender. Just running out of the sink one.
I guess it was like, I was like, it's only motorized. It looked so fucking funny though. I was a little laugh at me. I'm not that's as much watching a movie to get in a watch.
Oh, I'm so pleased. Do you know, I think the reminder of the goo from Ghostbusters too. Do you know when it comes out the bath it ends in his apartment and it just like, blears up. It reminds us of that song.
Just without the CGI and the millions bullet. Yeah. But that's it. That's it.
I was telling before we came up before we started recording. This movie is like completely financed by her. Her and her husband got the finance for this. This is about like, when you think about the budget and then which I don't know and I'm very sorry.
I'm very unprepared to do. Seven million. So that's not a great deal, especially for what we're dealing with. Yeah.
Especially when you look at what the shots like, they had a massive house. I'm actually painted the house as well. They have some big shots for this movie as well. It's not where everything was enclosed in one room.
It's not like a clerk's for everything. This films in single shots. I mean, this feels like a quite a big movie set would have been involved with this and all. And the probably touched on our like, like had homage.
So we say to all the classics like there was monsters, lives, there was an album's family vibes. Like all the classics were kind of touched on in elements in the look in the field of this movie. And it was never like kind of like done it in a mocking wheel as well. That was why one thing I thought was this could have been a big joke.
If you think of like revenge and the nerds and stuff like that, I was just laughing jokes and just a piece of on a different culture. This never kind of took the place. Like almost like it was like everyone was kind of in on the joke and, and the flash dance moment. Oh my God.
And that was the big one. When you had sort of like a professional dancer and there were cutting in scenes where. It's the smits when she's turning around and it's like, Oh my gosh. Oh, you totally thrown in and you were going to say it and then you're thrown in with the bloody flash dance.
Oh, but that this whole moment and saying was just absolutely like done so well because you've got her in the cinema. Again, this made me want to go to the cinema because they have like a shit movie. I would love to have someone like a viral designer because to sit on the side, sleep in the movie on a microphone just like it's such a, it's such a well, an old idea. Like I know you've got like mystery, science data, 2000s back to it.
And I know a lot of the horror films in the past, but still still doing it here. Yeah, Bill, Bill breaks. I hope I said that right. He was on sugar with their Darcy the male girl who I am friends with on TikTok.
And however, she her knowledge on horror is ridiculous. She, she's an ex porn star and you can, and you can, you can tell. But she went, you're going to look at Darcy the male girl and tell me the don't. And, and.
I'm not going to tell my wife. No, no, no, no, no. Don't, because I need time you always. Don't.
And, but no, she's, they got her on the, the last podcast on the left podcast. And they were like, you don't know. You don't know. And she was like, that's me.
So they did this huge test. No, no, just like boom, boom, boom. She knew everything. Yeah.
Elvira. She did the, like I said, she did the 40th anniversary one, but there is, you can go back and watch her. The very, like, if she's anything to think recently, it's, it's her popping up now. And it's a, it's a really good time to run for people to watch her.
And she's like, you know, she's like, you're like, you don't know what she's doing in a little bubble and just seeing a one liner. But then at the end of the movie, she sits and talk about it. You would love. Jove on breaks.
Absolutely. He's a man. That man was more about horror than anyone and he's been doing it for so long and should have given him such a platform because he was like he was very much on the, like, of, like not really people knew about him. And the same sort of thing that Elvira had originally was doing at the TV show is that for some people it was the gateway of being able to watch and maybe you couldn't get hold of.
You have to watch it cut into segments because it could wait to her talk or go back to the movie. Job up does the same thing so it's like it's been great for a few movies that have not been on prime but he's covered them. So I haven't thought of watching the movie segment it through him. But Darcy yet Darcy is almost the modern day Elvira in a sense.
She really is. For a look 100 centuries after a look. She's the one keeping him right sometimes what the actual facts are. Yeah.
And she always cause but we're not always but she's 19 times out of 10 she'll be in a cosplay of something random. It might not even have anything to do with the movies that they're talking about. And but he's been doing it since 1986. Yeah.
It's one of those things I am interested but since joining these kids and these tips that's on the ticket talks to quickly tick and being all down with it. I have noticed as well and again this is not a shot or this is not a shoot at anyone to see anything. The abundance of movie experts that are flying about that's one thing we've never claimed to be or wanted to be. God no.
It's just it's crazy. I'm not saying it's a bad thing. It's great that they say that these platforms that give people the voice and say, but a lot of them. Again, this might sound like a digger.
I do apologize. I'm not making me know anyone, but a lot of them are just reading our facts like it's Wikipedia or it's like this person directed this movie and such and such and just all the other good of that and that is basically the content they are going out. And again, it's not again if that's what we want to do and that's that's fine. All power to to you and stuff like that.
There seems to be anyone in the dog seems to be doing it. But it's a universal shared and love of movies that previously you would nerdy kids who stayed at home too much to constantly watch in every film. I was getting lots in a field. I did both.
So. But now it's also this is this complete shared universal logic of everybody loves this stuff. I think it's a lot of people trying to prove that like say they're not, you know, kind of what if you watch this? Do you know about this?
They think now people can really prove their point and back themselves up so they're not accused of being another one. Yeah, I'm not going to lie. Like since doing this, I have worried about people trying to catch me out and then I just think we saw. There's no reason for me to be worried.
We all know I haven't seen anything. So it's not like I have anything to prove. I've already made that point very clear. But monsters has kind of the same, not the same format is what you see in online.
It obviously comes with a lot of facts and stuff like that. But it's in the do they do come offline. There's, you know, there's no other way to find shit out. But it's not reading the bit.
I only ever read anything for me. If I don't fully understand it. So like if it's a convoluted story that I don't particularly want to mess up. It's the only time I'll read something for me.
And the rest of it is just, you can see it. It's just when you do monsters you talk about swing and if something generally does touch you like troll to do that was hilarious just to see your reactions and stuff from it. That's not again. I'm not saying people who go out and do this because we do similar things like we do different things.
But it's just to me and to see how many people do do that type of thing as well. And that's why I was so often get as many views and I don't want more views. Because we kind of go into it in some more episodes like what we're trying to get them down to about now a 20 now and a half. But when they go over that because it's like a passion.
But you see all the other ones that they've tried to condense everything down into 10, 15 minutes. It's like even less than that. It's like I wanted like this is why I look given these by the podcast because seeing how Jess gets excited to see you get excited by your character. Talk about a certain point that might throw you but then we go off into a different point.
That's where the tangents. That's why it always comes to me more interested. That was a meat and a shot. I was just being very careful.
No, no, no, no. I talked about what you mean because I've seen them yourself where they sit in there and you can tell they're just reading off something that they've literally ripped off Wikipedia to almost prove apart like I love this. If you really are genuinely passionate about it. Just tell them to say why the only reason the format that we have certain shows that we do is just to be more informative is to be a bit different.
I'm just repeating how nerdy up north stone and stuff like that. But I just thought of another book one. I was just back in point with that three episodes and beaters in the last month and evolving. Totally different.
Completely and only 100% different. Every single one of them. I just thought of another horror host who is still performing today and he is probably older than Elvira. Maybe.
I'll say that some voices. I'll say that some voices. Still are still raw. No, it's not going to be.
He still is doing a show he's now added new custom members to it. He's made a whole production. We don't get to see them because it's a special access to them again. They know what job out brings us to more of a reach now because he's on and should they.
headset. Well, I've got jealous over Michael when Trek first came out and Michael perfected his intro and I was like, uh, no, no, I'm not having this. I went out and now went and looked to be horror movie and this is how I found the one that they're all still there. I've been watching Joe Bob brings for years.
And they also went honestly Paul, if you had like just a day of doing nothing, I would recommend just one of these stories I'm going to do nothing with you. I'm going to be coming up with the shit. I'm trying to take a try even quicker two weeks off. I've been working.
No, you landed a big fucking job. You said. 21 million they made 21 million. And I felt guilty that they appeared for our train tickets.
I don't know. You got that much out of it. The con and way put up for that as well. There was quality con and way.
I was still part of it. I was still kind of there in spirit. We're coming back to Elvira. We just went on massive changes.
You know, we just had a few weekends. Can I just say, you know, have a bit of sympathy? It's been a moment. Well, yeah, one of the things that I just, again, it shouldn't have worked, but it was done so well because a lot of these moments in this film shouldn't have worked.
It's not the record. It's not the record, it's more regard. The chess. History pick the car.
Basically the shelf is the most horny. You'll have a scene and you'll see. Not a certain nonDival. Sorry that bit's the funniest bit is really, like she seals the ball and like she wants anyone else have it and then she just casually walks up the guy.
And if this guy just sits there. No. No. She's just trying to keep.
That's an ice buffet. Yeah. I think that's the thing with me. Like, consider when I watched it by age.
I know my dad was on the same age now. But no, I will not show my children it now. Because I don't want to get I don't want to have to answer any of those questions. That's why I started.
When we go to the trastly picnic mall? But isn't that such a huge problem now? because our parents, they didn't give a shit. Like, the generally didn't give a shit.
But because you've been there for me, young age, you've now got to take the responsibility of not just questions, but the nightmares that come along with it. I tell you what... I would not like that. There's the questions, there's the...
I'm on tonight, once I make them stay up late. I'm the night time, and there's the life choices afterwards when you watch this stuff so young. Like, why am I not watching these things? Jess is...
Jess is... Jess is the new albirus coming through, the albirus wins, yeah. Oh my gosh. But, you know what, it was quite funny, like, so it actually fully happened to me today, after watching this movie.
Go on. Literally, about half an hour after watching this movie, I was like, oh, I'm getting... Championship with all the nerds. I got a knock on the door.
So I was like, oh, then someone's not the door by the delivery. So, all the door, and there's this little old man, you look at this, and he goes, oh, how are you? Did he? Oh, no, I'm fine.
How are you? You were like, can I tell you about... I'm with Lord in Syria, I'm a Jehovah's Witness. I went, no, I'm going to shut the door.
Yeah, so, so, peace to me, the Jehovah's Witnesses is out there. Listen and watch me. I said, he's watching Elvira, he's sitting, he's watching the naughty films. This man needs to watch.
This man needs Jayden. This man needs Jayden. So, this man needs Jayden. So after watching Elvira, brought the Jehovah Witnesses to the door, that's how I thought this movie is.
Am I just not watching the right films? Because I never get them knocking on the door. I always have been back again. I'm like, come to my house.
I mean, I know I live in China, but it's a murder couple of things. But, you know, I think I would have to turn up once, and all the ever once, and then everyone to return back. I turn up to some, it's like, the town from Lost Boys, me, Graham's not working. Oh, and, oh gosh, my, no, either.
Santa Clara. Santa Clara. Yeah. Santa Clara, but all things, it's full of unspiced.
Just that's something. Sorry, just a quick one on the Lost Boys. Have you seen the Lost Boys poster on Amazon Prime? Because it's on Prime to watch for free.
Have you seen the poster? No, no. Yeah, it's a bit crudgesome, isn't it? Instead of being in a completely different language.
Yeah, I see the day, I was like, why? Is there like a dope version? Like, it's the full American version, but not the right version. I'm so sick of binding links to things that are turning out to be Spanish and Italian, and then I was like, are you telling me now Prime's doing it to us?
It's just an algorithm that I've got. I'm doing this on a still bit blurry as well, so that was one of my new buyer products. Oh, a buyer? I've got a collection of a virus of all around.
Yeah, no. I don't need to talk about that. I found it was on YouTube. You can watch it on YouTube for free.
Yeah. So I was waiting for the upload of the movie. Bad quality for it. You can still watch it.
I only have a little neon over. My fault got mine, I'm waiting for it. I was looking to do it. I was just like, have it here.
Yes, they've still got it. I'm excited. Every time she comes up, any version, and especially if she's being reduced in price, he always tells us I never buy her. The only one I didn't get, and I'm good at it, I didn't, because I didn't realize at the time, if you pre-order the DFTM out on the Lego website, you got her all rough inside, and I missed out on the pre-order, and it was like, but the only thing was, it was kind of, I don't know, I think it was the Pride dress.
So it was really cool. But the problem with it, Elvira figures, the last one I got, it's the exact same model, exactly how it heads, and it's just the different dress, because I've got the Black dress there, but the Red dress there, that's the only different one, the Santa Claus one, where you get the little gremlin, and stuff like that as well. But I didn't get the Pride one, because I was like, oh, I don't need another Elvira, but then I realized I was like, shit, I pre-ordered that from the Lego website. I would have got a signature of a sword out by the final one back, but it was only, I think, 40 quid.
Oh, that's, oh no. No, he does. He always tells us whenever she's come up, like, oh, she's been reduced in price, and I just, I literally have no room. I don't know what I'm going to do with all these purchases that I've made all the way again, and the way I'm going to put them all, I think I can convince some people.
Oh, it's all in the other room. That's it. Oh, yeah. So there is something that always makes us get going.
It's the, come on, even call him the guy that he ends up with in the end, Brad. Bob, I think it was on the phone. Bob, that's it. Bob, Brad, he's such a generic.
He's the most chanera guy. He was born in Feudbir. Yeah, it's pretty good, because it's like, this is certainly, it's so kind of true, even now, it's like, if you, but I was hurt at a girl, you try to date, and you go on these dates, and you're like, you end up being Alvar, what you said, and so have you ever seen this movie? Like, no.
Have you seen this movie? No. You've got to have seen this one. No.
Right. Just say that, I'll turn the girls. You would never have had that problem with you. No, you just say that.
Just say that. Just say that. Just say that. But don't you say that, it'll be this kind of Himble-esque guy who will be chasing alternative women.
It has no business being in this situation. But he is just such a blank sort of, yeah, almost like kind of oddly too dumb. Like he's really not aware of anything. Like there is just more behind, there's nothing behind there.
I have not failed. I do fail that. If you had anyone with any, like, because Elvira's personality is so big, you needed something to kind of counterbalance that, because if you had someone with an equal personality to Elvira, it would have been a shit show. If you had a Michael Keaton type of performance, like, up to Elvira, it would have been too much.
It would have been drowned. She would have been absolutely drowned in it. I have a funny feeling that Bulba might be based on Mark, who is her ex-husband. Like I said, doesn't talk about great in a book sometimes.
However, the Elvira's theme from the soundtrack, he wrote that. Bear in mind, Mark, what's the name of Mark Eason has a lot to do with this movie. Like it doesn't happen without him, because they did have a really strong relationship until they didn't. But yeah, I have a feeling that Bob might be, might be centred on somebody ever so slightly.
I think it's a little bit better than me, because that whole like, it's just the gender roles that now is being like a dumb, kind of blonde woman, like, oh, I don't know what's happening to say it's the guy. It's looking at the situation. And the women are far more aware of what's going on. But I think it does set this amazing tone throughout the movie of, it is very wholesome.
You've got all these teenagers that literally can't have a life, they're not actually anything, because it's all run by old people. Yeah. When she puts the movie, the thing on for them, the cutest thing is when they're all getting themselves ready to see how it's the last, you get to sort of like, you put a tiny bit of makeup on. And that little perfect white shoes that she takes out the box, because like, that's her like, kind of step into feeling a bit like a grown up girl.
