But yes. So yes, this week, Sammy is on hold here. She's disappeared, sunning up with her sister and her mother. And let's just see her mother is quite fit.

We are on episode 61, which is crazy when you think about it. Like the podcast has come along in just over a year, 61 episodes of us talking and we're still still talking. And the lovely Charlotte is our co-host tonight. So she's the one that's going to keep us boys in charge.
It's like three hair, the hair, bare bunches and the beauty. So we're gonna have a sort of the white erasers here or something like that. But yes, we are talking about it's not like a top five this week. We're just going to do a general note on movies that were made from computer games or games in general.
We're going to talk about what we're likes and what we think worked, why we thought some didn't work and what we're excited for in the future as well. It is a North East Convention. That's going to be a bit of a fun one. Also, basically, it took me for some reason, don't know why, decided to sit in a bath of bubble tea for 24 hours and he basically died of trench shots. It was a horror show.

So yes, let's get this started. So video games that got made in the movies. So I don't know if anyone knows this, but well, Jake probably says because he's probably got these done. He's talking about what was the first game that was made into a movie.
I've just started the banner in the work, sir. As in the first movie that came out with the earliest game. And the earliest movie that was made from a game, I'll be a son of a game. Is it double drag?
Oh, I don't know. I mean, I always thought it was super Mario Brothers, but you might have a retro one. I mean, I've got the dates like 20 years. All I did was copy and paste it with a PDF.
Yeah, it's because a game like game has been around now for a lot longer than you're expected. It's not just like a 90s or 80s thing. Like a game and started like with Han and such like with that in like early early, early, early 80s and stuff. You'd be surprised that more games and stuff weren't ever converted.
I know they always did like a game version of the movie that game, because I remember being obsessed with the Batman game for the Armstrong 64. And like see, I actually start back to the future too, because I didn't have back to future one, able back to future two and Gremlins two, the new batch games. Then once we're like, yeah, actually I was obsessed with that. You would think, especially with the amount of storytelling or like things that went into the games, that the natural progression would have been movies by a kind of a little bit longer to transition than your thoughts.
I don't know if this counts, but it made a movie based on the Nintendo power glow. And I'm sure that was like late 80s. That was a wizard. Yes.
I couldn't even use it. Yeah, that was a big, could be even considered because there's a compute element in big where he's talking about defeating the wizard, like you know, has like text-based games. Like say that was always there quite years, but yeah, because I know I always wondered like talking about like Warhammer and stuff like that. It did actually make like old text-type games based on them type of things.
So it is a big surprise. I did, Tim, as I said, I thought it would have been early ones, but double dragon. I can't even remember that phone. I remember the trailer.
I think it was come out at the same time as the turtles, didn't even need a bell. But I do remember the Mario, but probably not as fun as Jake this. Hey, I've got good memories. I went to the pictures to see Mario, the Super Mario World movie in Sunderland, home to basically it was like a thing where me, my mum worked nights in like a call center.
So like me dad got left with me and the thing he decided to kill a few hours. I was going to see all of the great movies of the 90s, including like Stargate, Richie Rich. It was basically like trash, but yeah, I was there for the Mario Brothers movie, but I can't remember what I felt like at the time, because I would have been like about five or six. I can still remember the disappointment when I first saw Mario.
The biggest point next, I was always a Sega kid, but Mario was always the game that's a little and then turned on that was the one I was jealous of. And when you play on Mario Brothers 3, it is a brilliant game and the colors and it is always fantastic. That's always the thing I used to stand out with, the colors, how bright and how like energetic and like even the sound to Mario was fun. And then we got Mario, the Super Mario was in film, one of the darkest, weirdest, like the strangest movies that you've ever seen.
And as a kid, you're just like, what the fuck? I mean, it starts out well, it plays the Mario thing soon. Then there's like a weird, weird like computerized dinosaur cartoon, where he's like, oh, yeah, I got one of the dinosaurs in like a Brooklyn accent and all that. So yeah, I have no idea what they were thinking, making it like Steampunk.
It's interesting to look back on now though, because now you just kind of think like, what was going on in these people's minds when they were just rushing around like a steampunk marketplace and then Mario and Luigi using metal like robot boots to jump around and stuff. But no, like looking back on it, I kind of love it because it's just so we, I think it was made for adults from what I can tell. There's nothing for kids in there at all. Oh no, there's like element of dinosaurs that they brought in, like say, that would probably be fun to put down as hot as Jesus Christ.
I know Dennis Hopper was playing some weak, wacky rolls out there, but as Cooper was just, wow, that's what we haven't described because I watched it a few years ago. I haven't done research this week. I haven't re-watched this movie because I couldn't bring myself to do it. I know Grant's looking very sternly at this, I know he's probably like loves this film as well.
I mean, it's definitely not for kids. I mean, I re-watched this afternoon and I think the kids bit goes out with the window where Yoshi gets stabbed. But like, honestly, though Bob Hoskins is good though, right? Like, Charlotte and Grant have both watched it recently as I did like last week or something.
Bob Hoskins is on like top comedic form like that entire movie. And apparently he was drunkly in tight time. I mean, you've got Bob Hoskins there and you've got Sid on the by-sage. I'm kind of pronounced it.
What John Leguizama. Yeah, he was a clown in spawn as well, wasn't he? Yeah. It's done quite a lot.
I'm pretty sure he was, oh, I'm going to kick myself. I'm pretty sure he was like in somebody again recently and everyone loved his character. He's definitely made a little return, but yeah, it's an interesting play on Luigi as a shy little brother who can't talk to girls. It's kind of roughly what they made Luigi, but not in 93.
So maybe Nintendo went back and took some inspiration. I don't know. Like I said, I've been, you know, he figures, I can't remember if Bob Hoskins attempted to do an Italian accent or was it just flop it out? Not giving a flop.
Yeah, it was just New York. But again, because like he's English, right? Yeah, yeah, it's a good accent. It's a London accent.
Believable. Yes. Sorry. I'd love to see them do the game, could you be in Luigi's haunted mansion?
Ah, yes. Well, in like the way they've done Sonic now. I love it. I love it.
I love it. But we're getting crisp. There's Sonic next, aren't we? Oh, there's not Sonic as Mario next.
Yeah. I don't have to do it in a car. You know, a CGI version. It's, yeah, it's the minions, people.
Oh, right. That's all CG from what I thought. I don't know. I've seen Luigi's mansion doing like Silent Hill.
Yeah. Yeah. I've probably seen the small confirm in there coming up in Luigi's haunted. But honestly, though, like if no one's seen this movie who's like listening, like, okay, so it's like they're in the real world.
It's Mario and Luigi. They've got a plumbing company that's going on. Do they have like a rivalry with like this other plumbing company called the Scappellies, which they're always shouting about the Scappellies throughout the entire movie. Daisy is a dinosaur egg that was brought to our world and accidentally left.
And she's the key to opening up like the Mushroom Kingdom world. And then yeah, they just end up going to the steampunk. There's like crap everywhere. Like literally like fungus.
It's gross. It looks horrible. There's weird like mutant Goombas, which Dennis Hopper does a great Goomba. But it's just it's absolutely nuts.
But like I say, like if you're watching it as an adult, like trying to laugh at this movie, it is funny. Like in that respect, I don't know if that's what they're going for. Yeah, but it was definitely an interesting dick. Because I know that they don't know like the end scene.
Hey, Mario, we need you to come back. So like, they definitely wanted to make a franchise out with this sequel. But yeah, it's like, oh, fuck, this is not going to happen. Yeah, like it was like, oh, we need to have like, what's open?
Do you see like you're not going to believe it? And then just like the credits. The whole premise as well, if they were using like a D of all three to make people back into the Big Three, sorry. And that's what the Goombas and like the dinosaur, or the big little juice heads.
Oh, Cooper Troopers, you mean? The very recognizable Cooper Troopers. But it's not that's gross. Lance Hendrickson is the king for some reason, but he's only in it right at the end to be like, I love those plumbers.
That's all he says. That, as I said, like with that and Masters of the Universe, well, but my early childhoods have been disappointed. Like what a film that was and what could have been done. I tell you what, they did try to get a lot of character names in there, which would be the thing that would make the kids happy.
Because like, big birther, who was the fish from Mario 3, who eats you by jumping out the water is like that lady in the bar, like, you know, the red latex spiky bodison. And the other is like Iggy and Spike is like the two, like dumbass, like henchmen and stuff like that. But so yeah, the guy on the M drops in there. You mentioned Yoshi, who's like a like a Jurassic Park dinosaur.
And as Granny's getting attacked by a dinosaur as we speak. But yeah, it kind of set the tone. I know I mentioned another one, early ones. The double dragon for you.
I guess I was trying to think of what the user was like, Shadow Warriors or something like that, the double, the actual movie. Because I saw a double dragon again, I saw a laugh at the Mega Drive and stuff like that. That was a rival straight of rage for making sure they play a playability, especially the double team and stuff. But I can't remember too much about the film.
I don't know if you guys can think much about it. I'll watch it. I'll go first. I can't remember much of the film.
I remember the game. I know the movie pretty well as well. Like, nice one dude. So let's move it over to Jake.
I don't know if I can sell it, but it's basically like your standard like martial arts movie. They're trying to go for it. But again, it's all steampunk and stuff. I don't know what possessed them because like the kind of been working on it.
The Muslim working concurrently. So unless they like just had the same idea randomly. Again, like you know how like in double dragon was that huge guy like a Bobo or whatever. He's like the most boss.
For some reason they were like, oh, let's just put lots of prosthetics on like a wrestler. So he's got this like really big misshapen head. Yeah, it's just like you two brothers with a magic medallion kind of like a Mcguffany type story. But again, we had steampunk.
Yeah, I think it's got some good moments in it. Like especially the reason that they got steampunk is they've gone disjointed with it. You've got new angeles as opposed to Los Angeles and it's been hit by an earthquake. So Los Angeles landscape has changed.
And on the imagery side of things, I think they do it really, really well. It's changed the root of the river that runs through Los Angeles. You've got a lake next to the Hollywood site. And a lot of it was filmed in a really dilapidated part of Cleveland.
So we've got dilapidated docks and what have you for the backgrounds and the live shots and what have you. It's I always like to stalk and I like a good cheesy comfy movie. And it does both of them in abundance. And also Robert Patrick gets possibly the best line I've ever heard in a movie.
Is to have an instrument come back and one of them is the little Asian guy with a scholar who is always a henchman. He's like, you know, don't underestimate him because he's going to be really quick that one. Everyone knows what's on. Yeah, he's a henchman in every eighties and eighties.
Is it like he's in die hard as well? It's neither the crunch bar guy. Oh, I guess. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Those two henchmen come running in and Robert Patrick looks up and goes, Huey Lewis. Is there any use? Oh my god. Oh, damn me.
I think there's a part I think there's like a funny part as well where the trap is ponytail in like a suitcase when they're having a fight like when he gets knocked on the floor, the slam of suitcase down. No, no, no. Really good. I think, um, I'd say in games and stuff like that because you do have a lot of, well, with any fandoms you always get the complaint stuck to come out.
The two big ones which like say from talk to people and like say from in the past as well. It's either if this like straight too far out of the world, the game world, as I said with Mario, they went too far away from the game or with other games. It's near too close and it doesn't really move out that sandbox. It kind of gets kind of spoiled as bit.
So it's always trying to find that middle ground with a lot of the games as well. I know I am like, say, they're the early ones, but I actually one of my favorites, like, say it is probably going to be the same as yours, the Mortal Kombat films. I know Nylation has a problem, but when the first Mortal Kombat came out, that was just absolutely amazing. I wanted it to be as much like the game as possible.
And I'm glad they didn't change too many aspects. I'm the user characters well and like say they had little like Easter eggs for all the fans as well, which they did carry over in the most recent Mortal Kombat movie. But that was probably the most successful like turnaround from game to movie franchise just because they knew they would take the piss out themselves and they didn't take it too. So it was like a fun film to watch.
So Mortal Kombat always stands there as like one of the strong ones especially like say and as one of my iconic, well not soundtracks, but it's the one song and it's like test your might and hear it like Mortal Kombat. Do do do do do do. Soon you hear it, you just want to clear the game. Yeah, Mortal Kombat's interesting as well because they didn't do what a lot of these have done and tried to get like, name actors that just went with like martial arts, but then what's fun, which is what you should do.
But yeah, it's just became legendary just because of like a lot of lines as well. They're like stupid action movie lines, but there's so many like good one-liners in there. That's like a real skill to write those in. But like you say, yes, it definitely like followed the game and took some stuff that was kind of like background information from the game.
Like every hundred years tournament wasn't really mentioned in the first game proper, but I think the writers like John Tobias and stuff, who's like part of the noob cybot name that's like his third embankments. He like had those like that law, like a law bible thing written out like kind of like a comic series would have where you've got like all your back story and stuff. But I think like what you were mentioning is an interesting one how some just stray like way off the path. Like I don't know if there is a thing where they can't actually just like rip off like another writer's idea.
Is that why like movie scripts always kind of straight because they're like, I can't just lift this entire comic book or this entire game story. I have to make my own and maybe that's where else in the waters get too muddy all the time. Yeah, it's an interesting but all like certain aspects that might not have rights to or they have to pay extra money if they do include like certain characters or certain worlds and stuff like that. So no, that's because if the base you probably spot on there as well because if they do base it on a game because it's probably had writers on that game.
So if you do use elements of it surely the writer of the game would have to get paid role at least. Yeah, or like become a screen actors guild unionized person. That mess. I suppose that would be especially if there's more than one game like with more combat and more like that's it'll be different writers for the different games.
Yeah, so it's like it's got guys and tasas. That's an interesting point I didn't even think about it in that aspect as well. But because I say I was just fans and we're just like watching movies which we don't want to go like know about the nuts and balls but we are the first ones to complain when things aren't what we like or what we wanted which is something that we are trying to move away from with like the whole nerdy up north community which I think we've done it all here with. It's still aspects that we need to work on but it's still like enjoyable to think outside the box with them two things but also my favorite part of those two things I loved about the original Mortal Kombat.
Johnny Cage, Triton Goro and he does a split and punches Goro in the nuts. It's just hilarious. That's a proud pleasing woman right there. It's from the games.
Yeah. And the perfect casting of Crystal Lambert is written and it's time to hit. He's a high-landist dialogue because he didn't have a clue what he was doing when he signed up for that movie. Let's be honest.
He doesn't actually like move much either if you watch it. He's not only like sat on something like for all of his scenes. He was definitely just having to like, I'm just enjoying this paycheck. This is funny.
Oh definitely. I don't know Charlotte have you watched it recently or did you watch it when you were a kid? I think I was sure I was a kid but watch the new one gave me the day. Yeah.
But just still really enjoyed it. I think they want to see more recently with Annihilation. I think we watched Annihilation. I think we watched the new one which was a really really big mistake because we were looking for ways.
African love Annihilation. It's just it's like honestly like I'm not the biggest like serious film fan. Let's face it. But what they did in that movie was what I wanted as a kid to put all of the characters in.
They put the robots in. They put like Sub-Zero's brother. They put like Matoro. The friggin' central man in.
Like Sindel. Rain was in there for a tiny bit. Baraka. Yeah.
You should watch the new animation because that all in it's fallen. Yeah. Everyone's here. I think maybe only personally I think Annihilation is an orchier movie.
Well, it's good until the really bad CGI when they go out on the mountains and start morphing into like them beasts. And it's like, oh, you've just spoke what could have been a good film. And I was one of these because I know I came out of the pictures but when Sky started doing movies on demand where you could be like a five quid and see a movie early before it was released. That was one one I paid for.
So when it got to love it, I was like, I want my fucking money back. Well, I was like some treasure in my video to cover you. Like the speculation. Yes, I did buy them both on DVD and I bought them on Amazon.
I'm made up for it now. I stream the shit out with them. I tell you, I really like as well. He's not really in movies anymore.
But like the guy that got to play a shower can't he's in like he's like six different Buffy villains. Yes. You got like a big big boom and voice. Like he's just frigging hilarious.
It's like the entire time. It's like skinny, Arnie. But like, you know, compared to us not skinny. No, no, no, no, I think that's one thing I did get the custom quite right because I in two as well because they've got a Dexter's dad out the TV short of play.
I can't remember the active period. But even he wasn't that like it was not Chris the Lambert, but at least he got got in the action as well. But the first model come up, I'm trying to pronounce it as enough because it wasn't she can't it was the what's the time? So your soul is mine.
That was just a meal. That was the game. I'm living for this now. Oh, he is excellent as well.
And like a true martial artist. So they didn't have to like cut around anything because he's been in like Sabrina Tinge, which and like Stargate and stuff is like, yo, it was nice fight somebody. But yeah, like cast and wise that they did pretty much hit it on the head. But like when you got to annihilation, you know, a lot of the actors just randomly changed because they obviously couldn't get them.
And the kill Johnny Cage right at the start because I guess he didn't want to come back. So like, all right, you get your next lap. No Johnny Cage. But it made sense.
So that's the thing because these characters when you played for the game, not many of them did survive. Like, so you used to kill them on each thing for you to pop up. But the new one, the remake back came out like during lockdown was mainly come to the cinemas, but with lockdown happening and here to be on Max being the godsend that I was, raising the cinema release each month on on demand. So it's got the snide copies quite quickly.
Thank you very much to that, Mariga. But the new one, I got a lot of hit, but I really enjoyed it. We actually made it so much. We watched it on streaming during lockdown.
And then it was the first film we saw at the pictures when it was still on the big screen. It really was. So got the second time on the big screen. I think I pulled down the projector for it because that's when we got the projector in and saw watching the big screens.
But it was so fun, it didn't take itself seriously. Like the guy who played Keanu, I can't remember the actor, he was in what was this, they showed the superstar. He was a day of the chemist. I was just absolutely like a pharmacist in the superstar, which he was a really annoying character.
But when he watched it more, yeah. I've seen a bunch of that and I did not make the connection. But it's only when you go back to the thing, because in the Mortal Kombat, the guy who plays Keanu is a star. He's got charisma, he stands out on screen.
It's everything he does, even though it's fantastic, but he stands out. He makes that as good as it is. So I looked at the other people, he's talking about it. He must be in good.
I got this stuff. I want to say more. And I realized that it was, I was like, shit, he's the most boring character and not funny character in the show. But it just could have been.
But I love the little nods in the new Mortal Kombat as well. They don't know who'll sweep the sweeping leg. How many people use that move all the time? I don't know who I'm a friend.
Yeah, you can do it in Street Fighter II as well. So yeah. In the first Mortal Kombat game, you could literally complete everybody up to go and just using that move. Oh, because Goro wouldn't follow over here.
Yeah, literally go all the way up the ladder and then all the way up the tag team ladder. And it wasn't until you got Goro that you actually had to do any fighting. We could never be Goro. I never saw a shank zone in real life until YouTube videos.
But yeah, the new one was awesome because it was like, it had like a bit of everything. I didn't have a tournament for the same, which I was a little bit disappointed in. But it was like a little like home-food adventure. You know, like, we've seen all these weird signs that the dragon logo keeps showing up in people who have these tattoos, all the greatest warriors of history and like, you had to follow that whole, you know, like crazy board with all the new stories.
I think they're snooking like a lot of like cameo names from like other characters into like that scene and stuff. It's interesting how you love Kano though, because like, Kano wasn't Australian until that first 95 movie when they just had that guy who was just again a scene ceiling piece of shit. It's definitely interesting. Then the main Australian in the games didn't they?
Yes, I saw it like, the last two were Australian. It was so popular though, just like, I guess Kano was Australian now, because it was just a bald guy in the first game in like a white outfit. It's the only thing that's true, he's like, hahaha. Yeah.
That was what that was after he just done that. He does his fatality in the new movie because the heart rip was like Kano's first fatality and he does it on like the reptile lizard, doesn't he? He's like, yeah. It's interesting that the front-triders evolved like that though, because like the first Mortal Kombat movie is just essentially an end of the dragon.
Yeah. That's right. So that's why they get it still right because the cast fighters and the goal is end of the dragon with some funky costumes. And as Mortal Kombat progressed, obviously, we started to get story modes happening in it.
So it became less than just beating the crap out of each other. The second movie started trying to pull in so much lore that the later games, the 3D1s and what have you, where you've got to properly walk around. It's more than just shout out to gamers, shout out to the writers that have made Mortal Kombat more than just people hitting each other. Yeah.
Who really, really loves playing the Mortal Kombat story modes. Not the most recent ones, I know I did. The Mortal Kombat X one was nominally written. The movie's just kind of extended out from that and I loved that it's almost like they're going to occupy the same universe.
Multiverse? I was waiting for the Multiverse comment. Yeah. I don't know if anyone's seen it.
It was a few years ago, I'm trying to think, because it was rumors that they want to do a web series. So they've done a few little episodes where I was like showing them around the world and like the assassins were going around the world to take out the fighters. What was like probably bloody proper violence. It was going to be, I'm sure by the same makers who started call Bekai, because called Bekai started as a web series.
Because Mortal Kombat was going to be the same type of thing that they're going to do like 15 minute episodes. I think they're still online now. So then check them out. They're all really, really well done.
But I think I got canceled from the near these movies. But I'm sure they're going to make a second one because they've left it open now. And they've developed the characters now. It's going to be interesting to see how Sub-Zero and stuff like comes out.
I know they're going to be like the hell around and stuff. Well, he's noob cyber in the Mortal Kombat law. The original evil Sub-Zero comes back as like the Black Ninja noob cyber. So yeah, he's coming back.
I think that was kind of him. Because he did the last part. He kind of like he did slightly like that. Like all this color goes away.

But yeah, like the Mortal Kombat 11 actually reset the timeline at the end. Sorry, spoilers, but the basically they did a thing where like time got erased. So like if they do more games, that will just be completely new technically Luke Hanks and you've got a time. Yeah, definitely.
I think I'd say with the Mortal Kombat one's been such a success and probably and all the being like, I think they're probably one of the best fighting games. We'll move on the ones that probably wasn't so successful. So we see the John, John, John, Richard. I've got a good segue for this because the original Mortal Kombat was supposed to be John Claude Van Dam was supposed to be like, Luke Hanks technically, but he dropped out last night.

But yes, Street Fighter, the movie is a true fight. That was that's that's freaking amazing. Choices were made with this movie. Yeah, like I know quite a lot about this movie because there's like an amazing like oral history article on polygon.com.
You can probably still find it. But yeah, like Van Dam was on cochlea entire time. He was just going off party and it was filmed on location in Thailand. So he was just disappearing for days on end like coming back.
But I don't know what was going on with that. Raljulia sadly was like very, very ill and took it as like a paycheck plus his children really liked the games. So he had to like suffer through that in like this giant like bison costume, which had like, you know, like to bulk him up a bit. But he knocks out one of like an amazing with that script, like an absolute top class performance.
Like his like his monologues are like the highlights. You can pass on it. It was the best thing in it. Like say, but the made some choices were characters that you thought was just absolutely mental.
Like what the did with Blanger and Darla Sim was just just ludicrously crazy. Oh yeah, Dr. Darla Sim and Carmel Splanker. But I'll tell you what was popular in the 90s.

And like, Zangi goes like, quick change the channel. I'm like, oh, no, I remember that. Oh, the 200s. Yeah.
Yeah. Was it was an 800 like a camera or something like that for the Hawaiian camera man. Yeah. Yeah.
It's just crazy. Yeah. But as I said, choices with me over that movie. I went the cinema to say it's and like, say, I was like, all excited.

Did that come out about the same time as the legend of Chunli one? Would they ever end the same time? I don't know. I think Tekken was first.

I think like no air shaw that you kind of write Tekken came out like a few months after legend of Chunli. So yeah, they were kind of like writing together. I don't know what to say. But on scene, man Tekken would be just so friggin easy to do something fun.
But I think like we make it scared of tournaments for some reason, but like who doesn't love a tournament? Who doesn't love a fight tournament? But if you do well, like say, did it well with Hugh Japan and what was it, what one? I know it's not a game, but real, real, real, real, real, fun movie.
Just like say it's true that shouldn't have worked. But like again, a lot of things, but yeah. Remember in Shang Chi, like in the, like the fight pit? Yes.
And it had like Wong and like a combination. Like that's like, like just do that. Like that's fine. I don't care if there's a story.
See all the room, do like probably any style film, or like all the good, like, private world fighting games. Like what was the one with Clint Eastwood where he used to fight? None of the fighting games, it wasn't every which able to lose what he used to. Like I was doing the fight, fight bits and stuff.
Like I've not had a, a, a rungatan. That might be the reason why these ones don't have no rungatan. That could be the reason why they're not working. You want to be able to do it on street fight.
Obviously the big problem that you've got to navigate is all of the stages are city to city all around the world. At least in what will come back. They're all in the same damn island. So you're next to the fight like a little store ball.
So they've got to cry you. And then again, he walks off and comes to talk to him in the next time he walks up with the Tokyo and he beats the crap out of Honda. And he walks up and he gets up and he beats up like Aaron's sword and so far. I mean, you're joking, but like there's tons of art of rear with a little like hobo bindle.
Like, you know, he literally is like the travel in warrior, like travel in the world. So it can be the best. So yeah, like you say, grab friggin easy, just do it. We don't need stupid story.

So Charlotte, when I come to fighting games, studios think we want to see more than we actually do. We literally want to see people beating each other. And we just want all the characters named after like how stupid they are. Like, we just want to see it.
It's different from a reason I fight. Like, say they're gonna take a farmer way. They're gonna like, he's gonna lose his children, gonna lose his wife. It doesn't even have to be that in depth.
Like, oh, we call him a dick. Right? Yeah. Yeah.
Oh, the high actually threw his son into a volcano. Therefore, tournament. Who doesn't want to be called the king of iron fist though? Like, that title alone is too worth fighting to a tournament of death.
But I am actually remembered like the Tom Hardy one. I cannot say warrior as well. It was like a ton of UFC style done well. Look at him just pit brother again.
But this one like tagging just be father against them. Same type of like essence. But yeah, no good idea. And I think a lot lately with a certain a lot of the modern one, modern computer adaptations, they are getting it right more.
And like say, for example, Sonic being the big one. Like he's now a big image where a stupid idea, but like it shouldn't work in any way where like a future like a CGI hedgehog run round at full speed. Like and Jim Kerry is Dr. Robabic.
Perfect casting as I hear Jim Kerry. But he was absolutely amazing in this film. And it's just so much fun and so entertaining. Yeah, because when this first like got started talking about it, it sounded awful like I was starting to hang around with Cyclops from X-Men.

The original Sonic when the film given proper eyes and like given like really weird features. But then. Like a real hedgehog, which is like that's not what we want. And then same guy that did that is the one that put the bottles on the cats in the cats movie.

But yeah, but Sonic is really fun. I agree. But yeah, like as a film, it had a bit of like Roger Rabbit time feel like not using the same type of effects. But crossing over from the world of fantasy up until like modern world as well.
And as I said, you can imagine Jim Kerry going up ship crazy trying to go after this blue hedgehog. And I didn't expect to like it as much as I did, but I absolutely love this one. And I know Charlotte, you've recently seen number two as well. I haven't seen that one yet.
So how does the single fit fair as well? The secret good is I think when we went, we were very aware that we were watching the movie tickets. I think they made it. They made it to it.
They didn't appreciate it as much. But there are loads of like little throwbacks to the original son of games and some actually brilliant one like that. Only the older kid, well, the older kid, but only like the older people going well get. Knuckles voice was confusing.
