Hey everyone and welcome to a very special nerdy of north episode today. It's episode today. Oh my god. I can't even talk I can't even talk today.

Sorry is a very special episode of the nerdy of north podcast the nerdy podcast hosted by to know the Notes, I'm one of your horse Sam and I'm the other horse Paul and we Guess with us today and one of the friends of the podcast Martin has returned to its engines and also making the podcast to be debut Of the New York North page and bob and babs which real name is Laura and Rob and three of the biggest and ghostbuster fans that are on the page And I think we can detect can all agree on and so yes, and we are doing this episode It's gonna be our first proper review type podcast on ghostbusters afterlife just simply because this film meant so much less And we have weird so fucking long So again as we always do when we've got new guests on so we'll give a lovely lower and rob a chance to tell us Their nerdy credentials a little bit about themselves so take it away Okay, well Rob's the main ghost was the fun. I'm so to Both but yeah, I'm so more Marvel So we make a custom final Fantastic as well I've seen the images you've shared the absolute brilliant Yeah, it was a little bit it was good but fun. It was something that we did as a thank-you gift for our one photographers Yeah, so we made a couple of them to they put one Facebook and everybody was like, oh, this is crazy Where do we get these from? We were like, okay, we went for a run as a it was like you need to make a It was about a year and a half later wasn't that we end at a competition at football host every year S TCC and at the fun days event and it's a custom competition We thought we'll end that for the hell because then we get named Amongst all these are you know, like cool customizers from around the world and we ended up winning us which we didn't expect at all John Favreau had like this and it was the chef truck with the Nine what's his name?

I was a little bit I'll have a truck and John Favreau had liked it now Still honestly, I think that might push you a little bit Because John Favreau so yeah, yeah I guess we're cool Yeah, I've always collected sort of what I would call it's just a general collection of fandom merch And from all the things I love so, you know, like a lot of things are really easy for me for Christmas because she always knows that when in doubt Fun it's not a much Anything from anything from the 80s for me as well. I know they exactly yeah I just find like being a nurse just there. It's a nice way to it keeps me feeling young Which you know is an old-ass really close news, but also made of dust. It's always nice to have something to try and keep this young, you know Yeah, it's just I enjoy fun and I enjoy like I actually said this to Robbie at the end of the car after I know nothing was on the way to sing with myself.

I said like I hate not being a nurse That's the way I can't put it. I was like I hate not have this passion or something because you know like you know I want to see like any game for example how like how should you are excited? Do I want to know what you're doing for you? Yeah, I can be nerdy for clapping.

You know when the latest my legs are like that Or Robert used to be a spot on with that. You're spot on with that because a lot of people do post on the group So this isn't nearly but when you look at the post it is like really a bit music you'd be nerdy about like to collect anything That's that's the whole thing. That's why I love anything. It's just what you're passionate about and But yeah, like I said, I've seen like to the customer to do like the mask So the shorting jay in the glasses Around you where I had a concept work out for Vigo Never got around with it's something I've still got to take off You don't have to customize a David Bowie It's a guy like you probably have to get like David Bowie, Dublin, King, and Customize I said I'm not the person that one now that one's expensive I'm genuinely only a certain person might not like what you do.

Do you kind of go by your You're a foil head don't you buy a juby a pre-existing pop-rock and you know sell you know like the template pops? Exactly. Yeah, so for instance like when we made the Lewis Tully pop I used the ghost was the body So I use the I use the spindle body because he's wearing the spindle that shoes in in course was And then I use rigmaramas head from because they've actually got a pop grip around us So I'm going to head off that and then I spoke with the EMO silver and change the link Then I'll just design all the packaging on photoshopped things But some of the times it can just be that I'll see a pop and I'll be like all that reminds me of that And I'll be some totally different so like slight spoiler alert But I was actually gonna use a fortnight pop for a v for the bass for Vigo Because there's a port night pop where the guy stood and he's armed out with these like knuckles on his hips and the pool Is just Vigo and I could do enough with that to then sculpt it They sort of put Vigo's costume on and things like that and that it was a head I think it was a guy It was bought from twin beaks and I was thinking like I'm gonna make my head work with Vigo Yeah, I've seen the ball point here Well we can say like oh would you say that head enough or do you think? Yeah, we are not gonna say people's football pops and it's a thing if we are the idea Rama, when you're doing your Vigo please put a kitten in the please Yes, please Yeah So yes, um, absolutely amazing Well, again, we normally have Martin introduced himself but he's got his like scenario of North t-shirt on as well I can say so he's representing Yeah What I was gonna say as well before we get started in the conversation some doing a disclaimer Me and Sam got some news today that absolutely blew our mind and back say for the next week The charity podcast we set ourselves a limit of 200 pound to raise from the kittens We smashed it and we're actually raised over 255 so far And it's still going up and we've got a week before it so Yeah, a little bit of an emotional morning shall we say about that Yeah, um, I was I was into years not gonna lie I haven't knew I was gonna put I was gonna contribute my money next week when we were doing it And because I was like, you know what if it gets to the point where I need to make it up I'll do it and I'll do it there and then we've like hit our target and I'm just I'm sort of blown away I really am and I'll just sat and bald me eyes out this morning and I like you But it's probably gonna cry quite a lot during this episode.

I'm just gonna pre-warn you I have been I have been an emotional wreck since Thursday I went to go and see it again yesterday And which I'll get into because that was really special the second time around and but yeah, I've been an absolute emotional I can't thank And the person who made the large donation and you know, I know he doesn't want a big deal made out of it That was unreal. Like absolutely. I'm really so much to everyone really appreciate it. Sorry Oh, great.

Um, so yes, I will get the disclaimer out so it's time to eat it away I'm really sorry. I'm in the room. Um, everything that we talked about in this episode is our own opinions If you don't like it, fine Not a problem just come and talk to us on the Facebook page or on the comments we're more than happy to have a conversation with people What we will not each other is is any toxic behavior? Any any toxic behaviors surrounding not having it for one ticket, but we are more than happy to have discussions with people So that being said do you want to get the other way with how spoiler fills this is going to be?

Well before we start personally, uh, thank you everyone again, you know, I it's a week away the church barcast can't wait genuinely cannot wait and Also after the 12 after the 12, I was the other one so should we see? Um, also happy birthday Harold, you know Especially given this app you saw the little v-mount and um thinking of Danaparoid at this time as well. Um, you lost his brother last night That was pretty sad. So sad sad dear At a time in gorswist as well.

We should be all happy. What do you think of Danaparoid? Oh, man. No, it's all right.

No, no, you know, it is it's it's it's time to remember him and you know It's been an emotional week given like you say what's happened in the charity as well in the film and you know, yeah Don't just whatever you do do not I mean listen to the gorswist as goal the new one but it'll make you cry especially Let's rise Agree with you as well just about like talking like being harry's here because uh, I went to see um I went to see it again for the second time this morning just to like refreshment and memory again And it's weird how much I picked up the same time. Um, yes I was just emotional anyway, because we like to see gorswist as But it was just an interest hit as hard when you know, you just see those words, you know Yeah for Harold and it's just Yeah Oh, and the moment is a reassurance for everyone as well this podcast is not headed for a disaster of biblical proportions I'm wearing these old testament politics real rough of God's From the side There was these boiling four years of darkness would be important actually get a couple of all meetings you see Perfectly for candles again rising from the grave doom and sacrifice bobs and bugs living Well They've really hurt my wrist to cut but that was a well I don't know it as well if you haven't seen borswist's turn this off now Because we are going to soil some shit We are going in heavy. I am going in heavy. I all has not spoken to me about it since there's it would not even it just went No conversation because I've been doing the same amount I've been telling the shut up every day Laura's being messengers of Robert.

I don't know which one sorry I Even kev like the king kev was messengers yesterday. I said I really want to talk to you about this But I'm leaving it all to Sunday. He's not even on the podcast and I haven't spoke to him about it So I've not made any more of the page specifically because I want this to be the first like time to actually discuss this because as Rob said this film And I said being an 80s kid and I'm being like loving everything that is it is this film was everything And appearance and like sitting and I know it was a modern and modern and modernized I can't get any weather now and I'm excited. Um This was Christmas morning.

I know on Thursday was my birthday and I couldn't give a flying fork that it was We left here and like David the wife was laughing ahead of her because it's basically I was up at five o'clock in the morning bouncing off the walls in Right. It's all supposed to be it. It's all supposed to be a happy birthday. I was getting all know No, it's all supposed to give me presents.

I put them on a side make right. I even got the time as long I thought was saying I left the clock So I was going to realize that was 12 So to see how excited for this film was and understand just because of how the build up has been Um, we will let into something a little bit special. I think in the build up And because I know we've had we've done the podcast purely on ghostbusters, which Martin joined us and we talked about the other three films Again, I don't have a problem with the third film. It just wasn't what we wanted and this was what we wanted and what we needed Is that makes sense?

My dad described my dad described it perfectly last night He said that the female ghost was me for all the wrong reasons And I was like you are right Right Didn't have a connection with the ghostbusters. Yeah, I like rides mates when I like most of my coffee So it's like I kind of enjoy I like Paul He's style comedy. I like really um he that he's done a lot of with the office and obviously did bridesmaids Um, I have a lot of time for him So yeah, and I just went in there with just take my love and affection away from it Just watched it just watching it as a board of what it was But my dad was absolutely spot on with it last night He just said it was me for all the wrong reasons. It was really you see the love that Jason's going with this The two photos in the 16th.

I'm not gonna buy a movie But you know as a small or It's all you can definitely see like you'd have said, you know, it's been rush It was rush to you know, this is this this Otherwise was created before even 2016. Yeah, the dream Yeah I watched an interview within this morning because yes have some podcasts the lucky busters Got it. I'm a pastry on a there's now got to see the interview early. It's gonna be released for everybody on name Thanks given in a moment.

It leaves We'll get that one day What he said to them in that interview was just honestly I cried from start to finish because that man has so much love And the way he said he pitched it he literally he obviously mentioned the girl in the field Um, but when he's and then he's dad read the script and just cried and I always heard him talk about that in interviews How he's died like like physically crying I understand why now What we get why now and totally can understand why everyone from the original had to be involved in it And oh, and rick maranis obviously was not there which I was slightly disheartened by but when you look at it I don't know where he would fit in I said the same I thought he might be in the end credit or something but uh, didn't away with it I think I was at the one that would have been plan service done to the degree where it might have been over the top But again, I wouldn't I wouldn't have complained I wouldn't have complained to it as well Yeah, I certainly I want to watch again. I was like this is like just the right level of answers Yes Not to the point where it's like um sort of like grotesque and where some fellows have just went like just flat out to the peace bonds and This is just that's so on the money and you can tell how much like jason right when it's just this is how integrity his life He's most most of days and you can see it all through the movie and like when I um, I was an emotional wreck when I came out And like we boss at work, which is like I was like, what's this one? Anybody good then? Like in the group chair for me team at work.

I end up putting this like coaching like emotional like response to it on the road like All right, uh It's a yeah, it's happening, you know, I put out yeah, I was just you can tell just how Lovely created this whole experience Yeah, I think to break it down as simply as I can um, we I thought I felt how it worked It was pretty much the original course was just cross with cross between stranger things and that wasn't just with And that wasn't just with the legacy the fin and wolf eyes pals and uh, whatever his name is I'm okay, his name is right. I don't care Both the terms wolf hurts parents that didn't Screams strange things. I just had that kind of failing to it like the whole vibe to the show Because it was modern it was like as I said, it wasn't shot like an 80s film Which I was kind of a good word but then that was just me because I loved it as well. I loved the look and the fail of it how it worked and but You'll be back I'm not saying Laura like I got a weird little share of Harry Potter from one particular scene Yes, yes This is a lot more bit More sound off.

I was like, this is like, yeah, I'm gonna pop a vibe from this and then the lights You know when when obviously he's communicating And you know you seen the lights went wrong enough and that just for me. I was like, okay. I feel like I'm in Yeah Sorry And before we start about the filming thing, I said what I wanted to try was a bit about the trailers as well Did you think they give a little bit too much away with the trailers? I can't answer the final ones, yeah.

Well, I didn't watch the final ones. We watched the one I watched was the one that we reacted to, so then I thought that was enough for me, so I didn't watch the last ones, so I can't really comment on that. Yeah, I would have... Where the C...

where the was was on the end. Yeah, but you said I'm going to... You don't want to say that, but you hear them, like you've seen the car. I don't like surprises, I'm not going to lie, I'm quite completely freaking out on the next one.

So I watch the whole... Plus, me too, the world makes us watch the whole, over and over again. Me as well, I say a million times. Yeah, I think I'm the other answer.

I think it's always been interesting as well, like coming back and the Terrodogs and things like that. I think we're expecting... I don't think I noticed it. When I watch it, as you can see, you know, the beginning where we've got the track when he's out, you can play him in the trailer, and I don't know what the point was that.

Yeah, I can't watch. Now, I'll see what was saying, but now that'll look back, I'm like, that was too much of a... ...it's like that definitely. Yeah, I was...

I was going to go all the pre-lines for a long way out to the point where I'd be buying this, like, Empire magazine and all the film magazines and I haven't even read them because I was like, I don't want to see it, don't want to know. So for me, I remember, like, way back in what was like, 2019 or so, when I got the teaser, which was like a long, slow shot into the barn. Yeah. I remember that.

And then the first trailer that dropped, and I hadn't really watched any... I made a real effort to not watch much past that first trailer. The new first trailer would be so limited. Well, I've got this major issue with films these days anyway where they...

I think we're like, films in general are so terrible because they're budgets are so huge on films. I think they're so terrified of not making a money back. They kind of like give you the whole film and trailer. I don't think they're completely...

I'll have this discussion on the Facebook group six, a few days ago. I was making the same point. Like, if you said there was going to be a ghost host in this film, you couldn't have just released a poster instead of date. People would have read the same as Spider-Man.

But I was a little bit... I was a little bit... I was a little bit... I called it, and...

And after saying the trailer, that I actually did say that Egon's ghost was going to be leading. You did the ghost host's podcast as well, yeah. Martin also called Mr. Grittison.

You also called that part as well. Yeah, you also called that part. So I think, and Sammy also called that there was no female star. There's no love.

Beam at the start. Oh, mate. Yeah, you had a feeling. You had a feeling they weren't going to play the beam at the start.

You know, it kind of gradually helped us. And it was all, you know, I liked it and did do that. But anyway, yeah. So the main thing, did you just enjoy the film?

I don't even have words. I mean, like, my reaction when somebody came... When me boss asked us, when I first came out of the film, what was it like I'm going to take a look and see the weekend? And I thought in their day, I'm just like, the one who called me a ghost host, who wrote a book and she asked her to go in April, I was like, I'll tell you, I'm like, read your song about this.

And I thought, I think, I'm just like sitting in the house for a while. I was like, I'm like, oh, I'm not going to say anything about the movie. I'm a raised by a man. And whenever we might need a childcare, I'd kind of just be packed up and sent off to life.

And I mean, me grandma, that, that, you know, relatives. And like the two consistency in my life, without under each arm, I would have a pack of microchips and a ghostbusters for you, you know, and that was just like, it was just like my entire care package right there. It's like, weirdly the ghostbusters and the ghostbusters, like both the ghostbusters are villains, like such a stable thing in my childhood and like in the album all through me life, you know, that it like, it hit me so hard when Harold passed away. Because I was like, it was like, it was almost like the first chick in the honor.

And it's like, one day I'm going to be talking to the fact that these guys are going to be here. And like, I know like, well, I'm trying to sound like this like horrible hardface, but it's like, I'm going to mourn that loss more than I'm probably some of my family. You know what I mean? Like, it's like, yeah, no idea that.

Yeah. And super me, this was just everything. This was everything I needed because I forced me south as hard as I could to really like the 2016 movie because I thought that was me trans-self. We all did, we all didn't.

We thought this was the only thing we're going to get. Nothing else is going to come in there. I tried not to sort of be negative. I'm not something negative about it.

Now I just, now I kind of just looking at it as like, I'll just wish to call it like Bridesmaid's Chase Ghosts. Yeah. No, I agree. If they didn't use the ghost was the title in our film, you wouldn't have gotten as many shit as it did.

I think the platform was again, we'll talk about that one previously. So I'm not going to backstep into that. Really did. But just ask as well, like, some, I know you've mentioned like, you're watching the second time and all how much, like say how much this franchise needs here.

What was your ex-a even sex? Just without talking about just like what did you enjoy? Yeah. So we went on, I went with my best friend on Thursday.

We went to see a hard two screen and that ended up being shown a quarter past three because the projector brought. And I, I texted Paul in the middle while we were waiting and I was like, this is what I'm looking at. It hasn't even started yet. That we're generally, I didn't know if we were trying to ship us out.

I was like, Caroline, I'm not moving, we're not, we're not leaving. I am not leaving the cinematy without not saluting it. And when I got out, my sister straightaway Texas and just went, and then I went perfection, absolute perfection. I can't physically talk right now.

You'll have to give us a bit. And then I went to see it on Saturday night with the two people who, I can, who have contributed to my love of course was just by one, introducing it to me and to allowing me to continuously watch it for nearly 10 years straight without never questioning. Why? Never questioned as to why it was like, it was the only film apart from everyone who knows this part from trading places that I watched continuously.

And they allowed us to do that and I had to go and see it with them last night. It was so special. Like we dad is a very hard man to please. He loves, he loves movies and he loves TV, but he just doesn't get it.

They asked him on the matrix about it. He generally, he's seen it like 100 times. Couldn't tell you what it's about. But watching my dad, not only stay awake because he's got a 10-foot fall in his sleep chair in films, but he stayed awake.

He was alert. He was laughing. He was he got everything. Even me, man, like me, man jumped so many times like she was in it.

Like when the jump, there was a few little moments of jumping as my mum was like, whoo, she happens. But when we left, I just said, I just went. It was a gorse, must have fell. Like, I've just watched a gorse, must have fell in my eye.

It was honestly, last night was so special. And it's, you know how this franchise means to us. For the last few days, it's just me being an absolute emotional wreck. No, I'm glad you had that experience as well.

It does sound like really special. Like, so you got to find out with your mum and dad. So that's great. So it was a shame he says to couldn't join us, but she was just being incredibly busy with work.

And so it would have been lovely if the four of us were there together. Because she's just as much as part of it. Like she got dragged along with it. Yeah, but that's going to be the experience when you get the whole video.

So that'll always be the main role as well to sit in your own house with you. With me, yeah. That'll be the nice experience. And then you can watch all three of them back to back.

That's going to be the thing. But yeah, I would love to hear Martin's experience as well. Yeah, so we went to Thursday night. I went with my wife and sister.

The cinema wasn't packed at all. There was only like six of us in, but it was Thursday night. My wife, she's always preferred, answer the call, because she's more of a chick lit girl. She's kind of like, she looks like all these kind of films.

I think. Yeah, she looks all them kind of silly films. And she's got a good sense of movies, but then she came out and she was like, this blossom over water. Like when the scene, when her ego and her ego and her daughter held the new Toronto wand with Phoebe, like I cried.

Like I started crying. She looked over at me and she said, I can't look at you too. Because I started crying. But I literally, I was audibly crying.

You know when somebody died, it was like that. It was literally people behind us were thinking hell, but it was literally a loving like a baby. Just kept going. And then she was, and then she didn't know because we both just cry and cry and cry.

But the film itself, yeah, it was just a beautiful experience. It was like, we sat down and there was no, I'm surprised. It was no fiends. I kind of I've heard this before, you know, like even like the mini-puffs or anything like that.

That's one thing that surprised me, you know, because it usually kind of have some kind of sponsorship thing, but they had all the Merval trailers before it. But it was, yeah, it was a beautiful experience. It was just, you know, to experience people like me, who loves that franchise. And it just the movie itself was so wonderfully crafted.

You know, it was exciting. It was funny. We were walked through these jokes or dark jokes. It was just, yeah, oh, perfect.

It stands alongside, but I love that it had a different song, a different build up, a different pace to the first two. It's unglash, it had Jason Wright and Stump, but it had the feel of Jason because of his indie background. It had that feel of when his dad's, like his dad just right next to him. He managed to incorporate the indie side and the ghost was the side.

It didn't feel like a blockbuster, like one of these, even though it is a major release, we didn't feel like, like one of these blockbuster films, that's come out just because it's a summer, just because I see he got this type aspect. Yeah, but I see my experience getting similar to all you guys have talked about, I smiled literally from start to finish. Normally, as I'm watching the film, I was looking over to Nick and see her reaction. Didn't happen this time.

I was watching the screen. I see ghost bumps apart tears, as I said, are cried quite a lot. It's like the first time I went, I didn't expect it. Like, Fabie's character powering up the pack for the first time, you hear the noise.

The noise. And again, I know it sounds crazy just hearing it and sounding perfect, sounding like a date when they're in the elevator. And then, memories come back as well, and like, oh well, don't want to hear something. I don't want to hear something.

I just have a fucking noise. That's that's that's, yeah, pack of it. I even lost my shit and saw it when Finn's character slammed the hood down called Eggo 101, I was like, you fucking bastard. But I knew the joke, but like I said, it was pissed.

Well, it was a long film. It's not one of the things, again, I expected it to be a fail-out way. But I was always confused. We're not confused.

I was expecting it to be more action packed, but I was glad it wasn't at the same time. But yeah, I came out with it thinking, wow, that was something special. Then you don't really get that film when you go to the pictures anymore. And last time was probably saying, Finn, New War, Endgame.

And then, and then, kind of had a moment. Seeing, yeah, I didn't come out after Endgame and feel an infinite moment type of surprise. This one, you would want to be good, but it surprises a little bit as well of how good it was. Endgame was, no, you first one.

No, no, no, no, what were you guys saying? No, I was going to say, what can Kim surprise me? Going into the film, not absolutely, it was winning on Thursday. But I mean, before all the trailers, when he was announced, it was Ivy, I was kind of a bit sketching and I never heard of this kid.

He's never, you know, I don't know whether he was going to be a good fit in that film, but he's so next to one of the best things in it. One podcast, yeah, he's got the right feature as well. I think maybe just like, did it, like, the movie was the best thing I'd give on. Yeah, I think, I think one of the things, I can't, the last time, I remember walking out of the film, because I was blown away by McKenna Grace's job actually with Phoebe, I thought, just to rip it back up.

I think the last time I've genuinely walked out of the film and thought, like, what an amazing job. And I can't remember the actors, and they're now, I was going to noise, but it just buys. The guy that's on the voice, like being on the phone. I'm so annoyed now, I can't remember.

But yeah, the guy, he's like the agent, I get straighted in, in British. I don't know, I just like, what performance? And like, she's just like, yeah, well, I just, I love the fact that like, when you've got like such like heavyweights, like, like, Murray, to have that restraint, well, yeah, and Paul Rosewell, yeah, so to have the like, Paul Rose, like Murray, only to have those at your disposal, and to have the control and the restraint to not suffocate the film with them. Yeah.

I thought it was just phenomenal, and just to allow these young actors and actresses to just take it away. I was really, really chuffed with that, you know. I said to Carolyn as we left, I loved McKenna Grace so much, if they didn't come at the end, I generally don't think I had been upset. I got you, right?

Yeah, I was, yeah. So, she carried, not carried everyone, because Carrie Coom was a man, and Paul ran a man, and Logan kept the cast was brilliant. Lucky is the only one who I could see, I don't see where she could see him. It's almost like she'd black a bit of like, car of that development a bit in a way.

Yeah, she's never. She's just like, every single author. I don't know what to say. Just something, just something lacking there was lucky.

But not enough to where I like, I didn't like the character or anything. I just thought McKenna Grace carried everything, everything she was in, I didn't want it to end. I wanted to say, yeah, and I see it's a kind of thing. I could have gone that whole film and just with her, I just finished with her, and I would still feel in love with it.

I come similar as what mannerisms and we was to Egon as well. Like, I was really, I mean, I don't know if you follow her on their social media, but this girl's been a fan since she was a kid. There's a photograph of her when she's a little dot, standing in front of her, and it's like, yeah. For me, it was the one tiny little scene in there where I was not getting too much into the films.

It's that one little scene where they're all in actual one, and then we're slowly, but surely, like, coming to Grace with a little one. Yeah, I know. And then she's just about, give us a minute. She's just a pop-out side, don't shoot her.

And then, you know, I'm not fighting. Just like, where we are. Nothing. Do you know what I loved about this?

It's phenomenal. What I loved about her character, right, was that she was nerdy, right? But she was like, a competent nerd, if you know what I mean? Well, normally, I know you character would be like, picked on or they'd be like, not sure how to be.

And I'd be having a party quality of life. Yeah. It was just actually, you know what I'm saying? You know what you want to do?

Can you what you want to do? And I like that aspect of the nerdy element. It wasn't like me and I like to pick them. She was like, it wasn't making an awkward or...

Oh, she was spicy. She was spicy as well, yeah. Yeah, she was. So, yeah.

Like, the element as well. I kissed myself Luffin when she was in the PlayStation, and she realized that when she found out, like, who her grandfather was, and when he turned around and called him, and she went to get the plasma rifle, and he saw the anger image, I was like, oh, folks, it wouldn't have been pissing her off, but the passion she showed towards, like, find out how brilliant her grandfather was as well. Yeah. And realizing that she is also special.

That's true. Yeah. She comes from this. Yeah, it was almost like, when she realized who her grandfather was, it was almost like she then went through a little mini-grease phase for him as well, because she probably understood what connections she probably could have with that guy.

But then it was almost like, you registered the lost winner, like, at that point, if that made sense, that makes sense. No, it really does, yeah. I told you guys that. It's like, what could have been...

It's not an identity in her life, but when she finally realized, you know, it's almost like, it was, you know, bullseye things, but what you could have won. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah.

I felt the strong sense of that as well, when I was watching it. And that's song at the end. That is McEnegreus, and that is absolutely what we didn't lock down. Yeah.

Absolutely amazing. And then that's what I meant. And then that's your last action, it was about grief. Actually, it read that.

Well, it very, very fixed. It's the thing, the tone of the movie, it was phenomenal. Kind of stopped listening to it. Yeah.

The video was really good. Yeah. It's a typical pop for her as well, yeah. She's got this.

The first one here. Oh, yeah. It's really what we told her to do. Yeah.

She's 15. I found it at 15. Yeah. She's 15 years old.

A little bitch. She's 15 years old, and she now holds two places for me of favorite characters. I was in the movie and also Theodore Crane. I absolutely adore that girl.

That girl is Theodore Crane. I thought she was amazing. And so in she's 15, one more. We're going to make that one more.

We're going to get it back to fall in love with this girl. A good relationship with Chris Evans, which is in that movie with them. Gift this. Gift this.

And when I was talking about Instagram, she was like friends with Captain America, and you know when you like him. She's young. She's also, she's kind of them as two. The girl has many, many talents or many characters, like in such a short space of time, you're only a matter of time for she's in Star Wars.

Yeah. I trust her. I trust her. You've seen her.

She's on that as well. Apparently I haven't seen it that one. So I want to be a little bit controversial here and say, make a hard decision. What was your favorite part of the film?

Let's start with something. The end. The end. The end.

I want us to go through it properly, so I'm not going to go into it now, but just the end. Just the end. Yeah. My mum asked us is, is it anything that you would have changed?

No, not at all. Not at all. As is it was the one film that gave us so much fan service without actually fucking slatness in the face with it. And like, false away again.

It's a carbon copy of a new book, but it's like, have this, have this point, have this point, have this reference, take that reference, take that reference. And I didn't feel that throughout this one, but I still felt like as a fan, I was getting exactly what I wanted without it being false on us. Yeah. I think it was the only way I could describe it, but the end is, was everything without this, without I could have reached all a cry.

Yes. It was everything. It was hard to pick by actually. I'm going to do it again, Kev.

I'll take it again. I'm going to bend a little bit. I'm not going to go on. I'm not going to go on.

Or anything like that, two scenes, but equally, for me the ending, yeah, for emotional punch. You know? And not even just for the emotional punch. It was just a great little joke, we all call, we all called it everyone on the dirt.

That, and the Munch of chairs seen in some of those. Like, that was 10. Do you even think the car is going to hit the bridge when an outconfident podcast is with the R.t.b, and it's just right. so tense that scene, so action-packed, so then some scenes equally, I love them for different reasons, yeah.

Lauren Rob? Oh, New York, first. Okay, I'm gonna make conversations, yeah. And I'm not gonna say that, but I didn't join that.

I'm gonna say I love the BBC, but the BBC... Oh, the BBC, yeah. I'm gonna go to the show. And I thought it was really comical, the way that they're going, and then...

Yeah, same off time with Snores and things like that, but I'm sorry, we got to see. And I know that M, for me particularly loves the BBC, but I'm gonna have to keep showing them the trailer, so as much as they're probably not before everything, I'm just gonna give a shout out. And I think it was a really, really well- They're a little faces as well, on them as well, they're so expression. The effects they use as well, because they're putting quite like similar, but they need any little kind of having effect as well, so it's really, really, really well done.

The BBC post-reaction when Bill Murray says, I did you miss us. Yeah. The BBC is all like, well, I really do. So yeah, I enjoyed the BBC post-it.

I think for me, who, I mean, yeah, I mean, what I would say is, you know, it's easy to say the end and was clearly the most emotional part of the film. I think, I think for me, it's when, when a few people go down into the lab, and she pulls the crunch bar. And you know, she moves the flight, you know, the overall points with the weather. Yeah.

And you just see, obviously there'll be teas in that early trailer, but just for me. Confirmation. Yeah, it was that, at that point, I knew I was watching Go! Plus, I was putting the swag from together and all that.

Yeah, I was watching a great movie up until that point. I was watching a very solid and great movie. And then when that happened, it was like 35 years of like white noise and like turbulence and build up for me just sort of went top because I was sat and watching Go! Plus, and yeah.

We went to Cringes' bar and I go to the shop, I've run out of it. I went to the customs. The banks and the e-s are in Bigo, which was, yeah. I know, I was going to go and pop to the shop and go and get some Twinkies.

Because I got, you remember the promotional ones I did for those of us that I got the years ago? Green slime ones. Yeah. I was going to buy some Twinkies, I did not in the end.

But you got one quality yours. Probably the same as Martin, the Munster Chair, saying when they're getting used to all the gadgets and I say when the gunner seat popped out and then they found the trap with the like the wheels, which again was just hilarious. They said that these are low grades that were kind of seen in like the real ghost was just typing and all that stuff. But actually saying them come to life and the excitement, I know it sounds strange, but saying how excited the kids were and like saying, like Vin driving the car and podcast was just like in the world of this is the best experience of your life.

Just saying that and saying the destruction and saying, yeah, like say if you're going on with a pro on pat and firing off in Main Street, this is the type of shit that would go down. Yeah. Yeah. So, you know, that was like...

It was just like having a bit, it wasn't a pain, it was like exciting as the kids do, because obviously the kids are just got level like they don't say any danger, kids do. They're just doing it too. So I think like having the kids do that, like it was probably like... I just want to say that.

Yeah. Sorry, I'll come back to that moment. Because I think that reminders a lot of those, the first time we saw like the ghost was just in the ballroom saying when Bill Murray and everything started firing and stuff and the KRC echoes and like you could tell they were having fun like Bill Murray doing like the magic stuff I didn't work and stuff like that. That was just again, hitting back to that type of element.

That's why I think again it probably wasn't meant to, but that's what reminders of so much when I watch it. Yeah. Yeah, it would be great with that thing. Go on, man.

No, no. Yeah, I think lunch was this film's line. That's why she wasn't in it. Well, Simon wasn't in it because Simon lives in New York, not Oklahoma.

Oh, yeah. That's why Simon's not in it. There was no mention. Like even at the party, it's turned up in the, you know, like, so not within at the end was like a mask.

But yeah, but yeah, he was voiced by all that. Long shot. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

That's what it is. So yeah, yeah. Yeah, they've been diesel momentary. Who was it?

Josh, Josh, Josh. Right. Right. And you were with somebody.

I just, I wasn't too sure who it was. Did anyone else recognize JK Simmons? Yes. That didn't...

Shando. Yeah. Hang on a minute. I did not get that at all.

And what fantastic big job. It was like he did in, I can't say it or somebody saw it. Can't say it or somebody saw it. But he did look like he's, he's appearing in, I'm not saying.

Right. You're now and you see it. Yeah. Yeah.

There was lots of different, like, kind of elements and stuff like that. Carp back to different points. Like there was a ghost that was in, that was one of the toys where the eye popping out. Yes.

You bought a beautiful button. No, I bought the Granny one. That one was cool. That was okay.

I was okay. I'm 40 quid. No, you sent us this. Yeah, you sent us that.

I didn't notice that. And also this is another film, just like the first one, Practical Effects. If they could do it, they did it. And also the scene where JK Simmons gets watched.

Practical effects. Done by a puppet. Splitting. Ah.

Ah. I'm going to ask you. Yeah. Because the only thing I kind of got the impression of, but again, I might be completely wrong.

Because I feel this one was a bit a little bit like Halloween 2018. Because there was references to the original Ghostbusters. Was not a single reference to Ghostbusters II? Yes, it didn't follow that story.

Yes, yes and no. I mean, yeah, they have razical books. And if you recognise the torso from what was in the kitchen, Jason Raimen, how's it going to be? He said the film is canon.

Right. So there is that. Yeah. And all you mean, like when they're showing the videos, you might disagree with some people like after the, you know, on the laptop.

And the going on, there's not been a ghost sighting for 30 years. It's like, there was a fucking giant statue. There was a walking thing in the car. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. No, but you know what? Yeah.

Yeah. There was actually a couple of groups in there. That being one of them. And when Ray said at the end that I had a house that he had, and it was Star Wars.

Yeah. Because I didn't. I'm the correct amateur. I'm glad Jason's correct.

I'm the facts as well. Revelations in the original Ghostbusters. Ray said it was Revelation 712. It was a name of Revelation 612.

And if you remember at the end of the first Ghostbusters, it says until we were still there, you know, you're the biggest participant. And you're a participant of the biggest international cross-roading. So it was the last of 1909. It's actually 1908.

Because I was like, I was thinking, because when they go into doors of the temple and they're showing all the days, he's like, he's 1908. And I was like, so yeah, Ray Stamps was actually wrong in the first film. Yeah. Well, it can be perfect and everything.

No, it can't. He's done it right. Yeah. He's crazy.

He's done it quite a bit. He's amazing. Oh, yeah. Well, I think the one who's to be honest, he's the one who's kept the franchise.

Like, look, it's far. Because every few years he comes out and says, there's a script. You're working on it. We're developing it.

And then nothing comes of it. And then, but then it did actually come. It was always down. I'm going to go on.

It was bringing it. It was a war to go. It was a war to go. It was a war to go.

It was a war to go. And then just say nothing more about it. And you're just like, what are you doing this to us? I feel merry.

Come on. Like, with that Bill Murray, the awards ceremony. Three of the awards. Yeah.

It was not one I think. It was not one I think. It was not one I have to have a famous time when he did that. And that was easy not to have a famous.

And can we are we going to get into the actual meat of the film? Yeah. I just wanted to just because I just by talking courses too, just for a second. And because I know Laura said it was, let us know in the group brilliantly that there was two after credit scenes, which we're going to have.

Thank you for that. I would have missed us. Thank you so much. My friends.

Oh, by the way. I'm sorry. That's all. When I watched it this morning, there was probably about 20 people overall in the theatre.

Did you ever. Shown. I literally did. Everybody got up.

And I went, there's a mid credit. And there's an end credit. And then literally everybody then got up again after the mid credit. I'm like, there's an end credit.

But the point where I divided a family. Surely a father looked at us and just went, yeah, definitely not. And the mother went, he's where it goes, supposed to t-shirt. He's screaming out like this.

And credit. So I'm supposed to sit here. So then they walked all the way down the stairs. They had loads of people walked out.

This father and son walked out. And they were kind of like, what were they looking at the mother? What were they looking at the screen? And then they decided to sit back in the front row.

And then afterwards, they went out and said, they were all like, wait for the toilet. The mother was like, thanks so much for that. And I was like, I know it's fine. I appreciate it.

My friends were in the screen last night. And there wasn't very many people in the village. On the other side of us. And they were just putting their clothes on.

And I just ran over and went to sit down. I went, there's a mid credit scene. There's an end credit scene. She was like, all right, OK.

So I walked away. And so yes, I thank you for pointing that out. Because we do normally, like, I think as Marvel fans, regardless of being a Marvel film, just any I always check to make just to see. And me and Carole always thank everyone.

We go through the list of credits and we actually, you know, we send names and we found them for the work that they do. It just passes the time. Well, I was going to say as well with the credits, I was half-explanning, like I said, with the film number cards. I was expecting to see a game.

That's one of the credits I was hoping for, which I didn't get. So you watch the end of the year. Oh, all right. Nah, that would have been too much for me.

That would have been like, was that necessary? What we got was what's my character. Yeah, they were like, I was playing it was brilliant. The last one.

Yeah, the last one. Yeah, like all those gonna be a side-end equals. Yeah. The last one.

Yeah, I really like this well. Like, obviously, you know, I'll wait until we get there naturally through the podcast, but I love the story arc that they've gave that particular character. Yeah. Yeah.

I've been like, he was done in the first two films. Yeah, so Jason Rachman said, you know Jason Rachman said exactly the same thing. He said that man is being pushed out of publications. He's being pushed out of them.

Anything to do with it. And this was his way of saying, I'm sorry. You know what I'm saying? I'm not having to be here.

We were supposed to need to do it and I've succeeded. Yeah. Obviously, he canceled out of C for next year. And we weren't going to win.

They were like, it's a bit too early for compiles and stuff. I really felt anyways for us. So I'll take a second. Next July.

Yes, we still have a couple of walks on the next year. So I'm just going to ask him to sign a football pop. And when he says, do you want to write them right now? I'm just going to write that.

He's a sexist. No. Yeah. He said he was done so badly.

Yeah. This is the way I'm saying. I'm really sorry because you know what? For all he was done.

Really bad. No. He was done by the press by any publications on them. It was always centered on the three of them.

He was just an afterthought. But he still fucking turned up for every conventional. Yeah. He turned up for every event.

He is a head. I know Dan Aykroyd has always been the spark that's kept the play of going for us to get a little bit of a concert. Just when it comes to actual heart in the community that the government has. Yes.

Is it all the con? The fans. Yeah. He does come in his jumpsuit as well.

He's a real. I absolutely adore him in this film. Yeah. He's a lot more compact as well because I think it's got a few interesting points on where what happens next and where it's going to go because I say that's going to be the interesting thing because there's no chance that we're not going to get a sequel in order to double negative.

Sorry. But I'm impossible that this isn't going to be a funny. I think it was already a beaten projection. I had more for you.

40 million. Sorry. 40. 40.

40. 40 million. And the critics, the critics, I'm giving very good reviews. I don't get it.

Yeah. The critics are now 22 year old kids who didn't. It's all supposed to be the first time. Exactly.

They'll have a big win 30 year for this to come about. They won't have a game of fucking born. Yeah. I'm not even going to get angry.

So let's get the made of the story and stuff. Like I, obviously, again, it wasn't the most I would say difficult of plots that was done. It was done, it was done simply but don't. Well, you've got to, you've got to have a peer detention.

In the first one to get the actual story because I had explained it to me, Mum. Because I mean, she got it. She got it. But I had to explain like, obviously, this town here is where these and they're still from you.

Yeah, the from New York would come from the mind them from here. The minute I saw that the temple, I was like, oh my god, this is where they came to. Create like because it was a cold wasn't there a cold goes to and they used to go on the roof of New York. And I was like, this is where it's been started from.

It was all originated from here. Yeah. And I love that. Yeah.

I was going to say, I love that the expanded on that as well. I give you a little bit more, not too much though. Yeah. Like again, we'll come to it.

But like the whole backstories of the key master and the gatekeeper, that was done when I gave us more words. But yeah, you're right. It's in the open scene. I wasn't expecting it.

It hit me like a choder bricks. Yeah. I cried from how far into the Christ. I cried about the second in probably the minute I could make out the silhouette.

Yeah. I was that was it. I was gone. I was like, I know they're doing it.

Like, I was like, the fucking doing it. Like, I was going to be in it. Yeah. And that's after the guy who obviously is his silhouette.

Yeah. That was unreal. But that open in sequence, it was, I didn't think it was going to get as the way it did. Yeah.
