Thank you Everyone and welcome to another episode of the nerdy of North Park House. It's the nerdy park house hosted by two Northern Nerds I'm one of your hosts Sam. I'm the other horse Paul That's right, so some of the classes already So we joined by a special guest this week lovely Martin from the Facebook page and it's been posting quite a lot and he's with the topic this week I thought would be quite interesting to get Martin involved because and it's one of our big favorites And also basically loves it so as we kill it keeps on is actually won't stop watching the film and we're talking all things Go sisters, so I haven't got some sting in the rush yet. So that's probably happening a little bit later on Who are you gonna call?

I've got a question for you. Do you believe in UFOs astro projections mental telepathy ESP clairvoyance fear photography telekinic movement bull trans medium the liveness mostly in the theory of Atlantis If it has a steady paycheck, I'll believe in anything Thank you for some nerd points there Sam Well done I know that film fact different inside out and around the back. Yeah, I know the life we caught in it. It's like every line Yeah, nobody will watch it with me anymore because Even before the line comes out So I think I probably said Martin's a little bit of a fishy hard or towards all things that go bomb in the night And shall we say I just tell us a little bit about yourself and give us your nearly credentials.

Shall we see it? Yeah, thank you. Yeah, well, I'm 39 from Charlie Lancashire. So something's a baby of the group She's finally the baby of the chat.

Oh my god. It's time. Yeah, you have the baby I'm an 82 I'm an 82 baby as well. I said on an 82 80 so that film will just go to place my heart.

Yeah from one kasha Border bread here And yeah generally just kind of having you trying to passion for things like goresbusters, gremlins, eight movies like cellpaul music I mean we kind of rock music, you know classic rock music Generally, yeah, just 80 music is yeah 80 movies and music and 90s as well You know like space jammies your hormones their classics as well and dress apart Yeah, like a whole but that does move a special place in that as well listen to your podcast again Just but yeah, goresbusters and mainly just like say yeah just the animation big Disney fan as well Stop most animation as I was talking to Charlotte the other day and earlier the month as well I'll play a queen Charlotte or a queen Charlotte So yeah, just generally kind of like I said love kind of massive a 90s guy And yeah, just mainly like goresbusters, gremlins A lot of British comedies as well brought up on that like Boston Phoenix nights Yeah, no it's interesting saying I've been with a fan of the podcast which again blows my head Because you weren't originally a member of the Facebook group you found the Facebook group through through the podcast Yeah, it was basically looking for you know I think it was a friend of recommended they were saying like they've been listening I'm sure it's on the group or not, but I was like I was looking obviously for I think he was talking about the The top five video games and like that I was saying listening and then it just picks up from there and obviously Plus I think it's also as well it recommended because I'm a big fan of Huge fan of Chris and Rosie Ramsey Because of things I listened to and then from then it was like I went to the Facebook page and yeah because they're jolly's I think it recommended that local area as well. Yes, and that's so I got in so it's all like Chris and Rosie Ramsey just being a Murdered general. Yeah, that's that is really I think because we're going watching him in December Honestly, you're in for an absolute tickle fest. It is just honestly start finished.

You'll not stop laughing like my insights were Book and the hoodie and stuff. Yeah, so A few months ago when the book came out Chris and Rosie got used to watch on in the local hours the next hours No actually All the books and Rosie was going to be doing that. It's graffiti is going to be Then can I watch you some friend of the podcast as well? You went and signed a copy didn't it?

So he went it's a one. Yeah, yes I've always found people that they've just moved into Northumberland into a mansion now so I'm It moved up in the world to have less than crazy. They are worth it. They are absolute you are in for an absolute tree See them the video It's really good.

Shall we get into the list? Yes, so Sam's the one I've keep us in track this week. It's a normal I'm going to quickly throw out we disclaimer just to get it out there because I always have to say that all these opinions are all I want to own if you don't like them well on this subject of shit if you don't like them Basically, no I'm only kidding if you don't if you don't agree with us Please come and catch us on Facebook or on the YouTube comments I'm more than happy to have a conversation with you because what we want to do is just keep the toxicity out of fandoms Consider it good in yes, you got it you nailed it But that's something I'm thinking of this system without song now Yeah, it's one of them great things the Facebook group again still keeps on growing It's just hit over 3,200 members this month Which again me starting this idea of just basically trying to talk about no Anything's just up as from being bored and not going to pub as much is growing up to this community Which is actually a just blows his way every day But yes, so we're gonna talk about my favorite subjects one of Sam's and I'm guessing one of Martin's with everything You know I'm gosh busters and the big part played on like say our lives and growing up and I know we've talked out in the past I think was in the top was in the top five eight movies My all-time I was First I Feel yes, but I've been interested in like say how you got introduced the Air course was not and how big a part of it when you grew up. I did a play a big part Yeah, I mean obviously being born in 82 it was kind of I wasn't a couple years old But I think it was actually the staple of my TV and I was just because he's so cute and cuddly I'm always a destructor but seeing him on the TV It was instantly kind of mesmerized by it And then we bought my mum bought me the VHS and the NHS got roll the kids over It's a tip you stuff to rewind when you take back to a video shop and yes, yeah But yeah, so I was seeing the state of North Carolina I'm used to watch it It was fun to cut my cousin's kind of really to watch it my cousin's she's the run out of the when the great lady transforms I get a scene it was like you start to use my night but it never goes always like a say the fascination of the tools and And just like the step off national on the ghosts, you know Slimer and the ghost John Belushi and all that kind of thing and it was just like and then the music I think the theme I remember going to like a disco and wore out the record because they played the rip I could do anything that much for me and a friend it was like so it was that the whole sounds on the sights and the Ghost I mean a lot of the jokes have only got as I got older, you know like segments to dinner where it's like I want you inside me and he says it's two we already I don't think it's a lot more and it's like things like that I think that was a layers of it what I love is you get all the kind of you see things you don't realize you as you're a kid but again it was it was seeing the ghost here in the theme which you know is iconic and just loving kind of and just appreciating it as I've got older and older and seen it at the cinema They're running life that in 2009 got to see the the original 84 print as a sports mold and funger scene It actually crackled and skipped a frame and then saw it again two years ago for the 35th anniversary So that's where I kind of going through just seeing the simple match metal on I'm sorry for waffling but I don't know if it's good to hear the theme Yeah, right It's a bit like adult jokes in it as well because I remember watching Lost Buses I think when it came out in Bluria that had the scene in that was caught out I think originally the with the Danapro get the blowjob off the ghost because I don't think that was in the original coach That came out in the UK was definitely wasn't on the team It was it was just as an extended yeah, they've released a 35th anniversary Blu-ray where they've got the bot Detner in scene and and and the scene where it's a bit more extended where it gets a blowjob He's kind of in the castle bot Detner in yeah yeah I we have that's weird and watching it as a kid seen him not realizing he was getting a gospel job I'm not getting it like this and I was you it's funny you mentioned about the Ghost with Kayla would not as a kid stay in the room when the lady screamed she would have to she knew it was coming She would just have to get up leave and then come back in later There's two things I used to scare me Kayla that was one of them and cycle is the second one I've already always said though if you take out the jokes and make the comedy aspect of a ghost But she would have a fucking scary or a phone when it comes to it I know like I know right when a record and said he's a big believer in Normal and Like I mean like paranormal community and you know good old Canada But yes, and I see that the elements in there It was especially because I remember you on it when I was a kid Yeah, it was I wasn't looking enough to say that I was when I went to see ghosts Was to work and we'll come to that one in a few moments, but and just all the elements like kind of worked and As I said the music is iconic Well, I think the soundtrack and whole but it's an 80s film So the soundtrack was always going to be quite pivotal and strong Everything kind of grab sure and even the characters in it or engaging like I know Bill Murray's Like I say comedy genius when it comes to certain roles, but Peter vegman felt like it was made for him Even though it kind of wasn't in a way Kind of was kind of wasn't but Harold Reimus for me is the comedy genius in that movie the time of the man The lines that he has did nothing like Bill Murray is a maze and Pete Bankman is one of if not my favorite characters But Harold Reimus just if you like I watched it yesterday, sorry, but I did watch it yesterday And I watched it.

I just I didn't appreciate them at all because you saw And Bring is that you're not paying attention to how fucking hilarious Harold Reimus actually is These fears and what you see is that times as well these things like special things very dry delivery Yeah, I'm like a collect for more than fungus and it's just away. I think Rick Moran is a lot of credit Oh, yeah, I know I know there's like a lot of people coming back for the afterlife. I hope they've got me in a way That would be It's awful It's awful that he's come out of retirement and he's just signed up to a deal with Disney for honey I shrink the kids and he can't come back with just even just a small cameo to say Lewis is still still here Because he is such a huge part of that franchise I know I've probably never seen him right I think he will I think he is because he only come out the woodwork when this was getting me again I get that we Ryan Reynolds last year. Yeah, yeah, I think it's gonna be one of them See, but it's because they've showed a lot in the trailers like Janine's coming back as well And all probably skipping ahead with the conversation I put my ex out no, I'm not a series figures as well You know you've got like the older bankman older Winston and all the people yeah, that's all the great as well, yeah The court of the wife and court he has on his tattoo On his wrist at the end of after large realer like that's in really nice touch.

Yeah, and just a book books of Billy still running a Books Online not rumors but online theory about the house That's my be haunted by a Sunday of bones fellas I didn't mean to pull me head for no, so I couldn't hear anything at all You feel which I agree with you about I think Mr. Grieviston's gonna be he's gonna be the keymaster. Yeah Yeah, oh I think the house is gonna be haunted by you gone, you know when they believe When he shows you the trailer and it shows your little traps on open. I don't think that's traps I think that's him showing her you know I do think that the ghost of egon is very present in that house.

Let's go back just stay with the first one I used to have it on VHS as well, but I have one and two on a double beat To the girlfriend yes, oh my god God Music Everything like cuz it was one and two so if I was putting it on they were both going on I would say I'd even watch that man ever saw that was in the middle of it that separated the two and that I wore that video To out and then I think I've had it in DVD won't be quite a con-camp many times now You've got to Haven't bought just the 4k print on course was a job so we've got blue areas on steel boom, but I'm a seven isabi releases with the the 4k and But that's the ones I did get answer the call on steel building 4k it but I'll come back to that one as well, but yeah To myself I'm not standing on TV used to get stick on Used to sit there first thing you do you get caught up in the music that catchy tune and the colors they use as well It's the first time that type of special effects that you see even though and when you watch like shows like How the media movies have the near them and stuff like that and The special effects are a music for what we had to do on course We're gonna go and and hold my say John Balousie being slimer was a nice I believe So I don't think it was a big man, but I think he was in replace a bill Murray I don't think he's character was vinpen because it was Blue she and Dan Akroy there were the three main ones and then you had John Candy is Lewis Tully and He dropped out because of creative differences. He saw himself as a German with two Schnauzers Yeah, and I think Ivan Reitman was like no We've already done to the news there Smells and so yeah, he went for creative differences Obviously Eddie Murphy had commitment issues with another film Well the budget originally for the first one was insane as well Because like it was like lots of different bustling scenes and the ones different dimensions and yeah It was it was stupidly over budget so I've been right there already and so I was agreeing it in well I watched and I watched the big massive course was this day in America a couple years ago 2018 I think and I Wasn't it right with Ivan Reitman and what's this on called again Jason Jason? Yes? Yeah, and I watched the interview It was Jason interview when he's down and he was saying that um they literally just kept cutting the date of when it needed to be out by So it just kept either cutting the budget or increasing it slightly or cutting it's like it was the day just kept getting smaller and smaller Yeah, it was such a good if you have anyone has a chance to watch it on YouTube was so interesting They father and son like first and then the most recent one and then talking about their ideas and such and it was really fascinating very good watch So I say with that and all the came out And I think it came up not long after I think was only a few years after the the real ghost was just a car man And I checked this out the other day.

I didn't realize how many seasons this short Yeah, the box that now and you can buy it from Amazon It's like 50 quid it's like a German version place. You got English audio. Yeah, and then the real slide the slider in the real Ghostbusters which was terrible. Yeah, I was a friendly version.

Yeah What's your gorsbusters? No, it's it's quite frightening the real gorsbusters But you've got some on and the some man and the bogeyman and some of those characters are quite frightening for a character I got a little bit confused when I first watched the cartoons as well Just because the look of the characters that kind of switched them up a bit because they even kind of look like Danak Royce Danak Royce character kind of like Bill Murray and then like say I've given you gone Blake's blonde white hair which Yeah, it was a pilot originally kind of hard to build Mary looks a bit more like sorry I'm not so little like Bill Murray and then yeah, they kind of changed it to where he's got the kind of elvish style With I know I definitely watched it, but I generally can't remember watching it I had to have watched it because it's where my toy collection came from like I've been I've been a collector for many many moons But it right off the back of my older cousin who was you know in the Star Wars and Transformers and he man and whatever he was in I was into and then gorsbusters real gorsbusters came and then the my action figures came into play and that's where my collection started from the most devastating day of my life was the Day at my mom emptied my toy cupboard Yeah, the lot the day we moved house we moved from the street I'm in right now to the street where my mom and dad are in they Cleans my everything every inch of my gorsbusters figures and everything went I don't think I would feel so bad if she sold them because at least I know the window She chucked them. Oh When it comes to like say good moving on to that point I was going to bring up the action figures because the action figures for the real gorsbusters were the most interesting at the time There was like there was they were like the carton But different as well like they all came with a little like see through gors that you could put on the borsers head for some reason and a little Part-slide you're working with a project Compact all had like an actual attachment Because when I first came out the range there was a few gors stuff went with them that were in the record At the skeleton way, but the gorsbusters on and kind of the skeleton head went over them and the kid kind of caught them Yeah Yeah, he's pretty hooked into a face and there was the ones that went in the bathroom coming three pieces where it filled a wall and used to squirt Oh the eyeballs. I think it was the goo ones.

Yeah, then you had like the fright features and then they're like the monsters like the mail a demon Granny gross tombstone title. Oh, granny Jesus Yeah, that's why that's a question then you had the beetle which became marida mantis. Yeah, so when I got my tonsils out So when I was a bit of a dad, but was that one and I think I asked for one but I think I got one was too expensive That was the one item I never got was ector one I don't know why I remember my mom's best friend son having it and like the first thing I would go and grab when I was at this house I just take that Never worked I would have devastated and never Had the firehouse. Yeah, but what I also had which a lot of I don't think you guys might have had I had a course was the Wendy house Right.

Never you guys So when the house is just falls in a bit of plastic over the top mine was the actual fire station with ghosts on the side of it My sister can remember it and she has generally looked for her for us And but yeah, I had it I'm gonna have to say some images of this because I can't remember that. Yeah, it was a custom made Oh Anyone that's not in the north that's watching this podcast what's northern is all things and robbers just get out of it I'm just going to steal from Prince of coming. Um, just get that so you're gonna take a stereotype out of the way there But um, no, I had the ghost wasters. Um, like the firehouses as well I see remember the day we died brought in the box and putting it together once you put it together It was never come apart.

Oh, yeah, that was well. That was well. Mute. I have to put um, I'm just To the feet feet into the into the pool.

Yeah, yeah Yeah I was gonna say about the mantis though as well because once you pop the mantis out It was the biggest pain in the arse ever put back together and literally would once you popped it into the mantis You have it never went totally back fully into the into the car ship. It was that one was one of the All-rays to hit my Absolutely just find some good never ever getting back into place. Even if you got they saw far there'd be one piece that would just not We thought this might as well. You always use to lose a hand start with the thing I just every time you get a hands because You said always lose them but that was always me bug bears.

I used to get losing bits I stopped very very weird with toys all the bits had to stay in the right place. Otherwise used to drive us nuts I can't remember being that bad with me me toys, but I would be now like I'd be very I don't want to charge our own because I'm scared. I'm gonna lose e-shield So he says right there like I'm I get why people collecting boxes now if that makes sense Like I wouldn't I wouldn't have a few years ago. He would have been straight out and generally would be playing him But I understand the collector side of it now I got every releases last year.

I'll catch them in the box because the box is nostalgic as well Yes, it is. You know like the balloon packaging. Yeah It's always on me list of when does that be have like a seal and I always put it in the basket for summaries and they're always missing one All-collection like I'm not it's always it's either Ray or Egon I did not got one of the other and I'm like no I would rather way they're gonna be there Ghostbusters is having an absolute like revamp on their On their product like on their collection at the moment and all the hard Unbelievable when you say them coming out. Oh my god.

Yeah, it's a long battery release Yes, it has um Kenner will Kenner of re- it's another kind of re- release that has brought basically a release Yeah, they've brought out a lot of figures as well for um for the new film after life and I thought it features. Yeah That says thank you got that one done my You've got a monster you've got a monster one. You've got a slider and you've got a step up and uh It's on the course proper that they did as a kid as well We'll have the ghost proper with a little form things up by you. Yes.

I said that but um Yeah, yes, just this makes horrible sound about these little form pad things to fire up as well I think my favorite toy I ever had was a horse was a top out and like one of the podcasts earlier was the proton park like My best night ever was going out dressed as a course was having the bad around the arm Somebody screaming at you Yeah, but by the me run up by them even we're crying after a van by a pistol was um And then we that's the live with the infay now And the pk you needs to always read And then you want to put it for the trap. Yes, you did. Oh my god This is my little weird thing of childhood memories. I can still feel I can still remember how they feel and I remember that hard plastic Like I'm like because it was like kind of hollow inside but I can still remember how that plastic is so weird It's like I can still pick I can still feel felt Of some of the traffic the form the extreme And the way the little it was annoying though the kind of cable where you'd attack the part that you'd attach the The um new Toronto on to the proton park.

It always used to get a kink in it after a while Just a dude Yes, I think as well because I remember there was two traps there was one that actually opened and there was one that just played the music And I think one of your friends got the one that did the music and I just laughed at my mind That's not even a good trap. That was a bit mean They're not used to trigger used to make when you press it's not When you press the trigger they have Several times yeah It was then The actual ones in the bath like they're awesome Yeah, that's it's a lot of bones for and for what it does Hmm I Do When you watch this back you will notice how much that cabinet is just rocked yeah Yeah The light as well It's got the You just got as really nervous because every time you're moving your back cabinet kept shaking And I was like if they go I think I might cry yeah, cuz that's a regular one Yeah Was a Of the phone call score swasters for the original 4k amount it was about four or five years ago And you still get the others like the rear and and stuff but the one that's absolutely crazy in price was egon Exeter how rare so passed away the prices for that went absolutely Always the case mean the Lord of the Rings and figures that I got not long ago, which would no more than around 11 pound And now treading price because the bloody TV shows coming out when something is about to hit or somebody passes the price of it just Certainly but uh, it's one of them things like I'm always keeping an eye out. I know I'm tended with a new The new figures that I've been out the glow in the dark ones And got mentioned with like looks like they've got slime on but the bottom packs and stuff of the original four The house of the house. Yeah And it's actually like probably something or am I just making that up?

There was uh, there's been a spanglers one from the new film Uh, the ghost trap. Yeah, it's basically yeah, it's the one that um, Thingy finds phoeby finds it's got like a little bandage round it. Um, or the handle. Yeah Fantastic name So Because there's been that many and I know there was the crystal collection box.

I got the next day the dog the devil dog As part of that as well. I think about the the library course over there as well hiding in the corner Oh, it's one of those terrifying scenes in like say movie movie's going forward. It's one of the best jumpscares Is just gonna say that the best part about it's slimer as well. Yeah, I'm Mr.

The um, the levitation of dana is done with a bloody pool shoved in the back of my dress and she's like a Just being turned around From the other ten of their songs. I don't know how else to describe the way that she's being turned on i bloody Paul And but yes, practical effects and I love watching the making of the you know when they're showing you how it does Deaf in the he's just a tiny little bit. Yeah, he's just a tiny little he's been walked around it Just like I would have always played with it full scale like costume, but with it in the suit, but then like If you get the transwatch clean up, it's a great documentary um And it's spectrifying to get it on blue ray But it's such a great watch and talk about how they kind of had to get any telling and stuntmen into To play a step up when they burn the suit when he's climbing up speak central Because the suit is like basically that's soon as it melted. It was like it was in I'm sure I saw a clip for some reason because I don't know the film and stuff but it was a might have been just like a I don't know but the actual staple of hat floating down but it was like made up of material and like say it was the life size and stuff like that But if stay for was all made of marshmallow, I don't know why that would be thought that could be material I saw that clip there and they got a ball can as well about that as well because there's a bit where step off with exactly When they're like they're holding down With the proton streams you see his neck a tree's missing Right and they never and it's never been kind of edited back in Um, so the guys who were behind yeah, the guys who were behind step off basically we were creating and the um the team Um, they basically just got a ballicking because like they didn't put the neck a tree funny when he's getting blasted That's a bit harsh.

I say we never know what something points Yes, true. We'll be fine it out Can we move the second one because I don't think this film gets as much credit as what it deserves I absolutely love it just as much as I love the first one. I'm not gonna say more I just love it. It's just there's nothing to hate about that movie This one is one one things where a lot of the films in the 80s are We're ahead of the time.

I think this one's a similar type of in as you watch it when you get no That it does get a little bit better because when I remember when I watched it as a kid I didn't quite because it didn't have as many kid elements. It's more of an adults one for me because it's quite scary Like it is got a lot of scary I've got a lot of scary The Titanic just arrived like I still see himself now Like if you saw that you were just freezing terror of the gold that sequence I love when all the gold start and the first coach comes alive The main court I still scares me when it kind of starts reaching and the woman throws it off and it warms down the street Yeah, both I'm saying say once other be any cut goes nuts and zooms off that it's terrifying. Yeah Yes Absolutely terrifying. There was something about them to the terrifies and he is my morbid thing for this episode One of them passed away recently.

Very So I follow and I can't recommend this podcast enough. Yes have some they are my favorite Favorite podcast I talked to Abi on a regular well I found her on a regular basis and she talks about and she's a lovely lovely person I found them through a documentary on gossbusters fans called gossheads Yeah, and it's it's not it's not great. It's like it really makes Abi out to be a I don't want to say a few years, but they make it Don't get the fact that she she's not an alcoholic because of fandom the kind of focus in on the fact that she became She decided to stop drinking because of gossbusters. That's not the case at all And I follow oh yes, and she's I totally get where she's coming from It's just not put across that way and but the podcast is absolutely phenomenal Like those guys are not just I think I've mentioned them a few times on here actually they are collectors like hardcore collectors Like Abi and in New York comic con she just flew out today with the rest of them because there's a gossbuster panel there That's the only reason they're going New York comic on yep with the cast crew on for tomorrow They had the twin the surviving twin on the podcast not long after he's brother had passed Um first to a side of prevention prevention and such a good episode You such a good podcast.

I can't recommend them enough if you like them as well because they did um They did they kind of cross all the podcasts with uh chris and troy you do the Instagram across rip And troy's um t-shirt design you did for um Oh, what was it after life? Did you see what the um How am I about design? I hate the fact you didn't hear here sometimes because And they also had um special for their five year anniversary They created their own little mini ghosts that you used to get with the figures. All right exclusive yhs mini gosses It's honestly Paul you can find them on youtube you can find them on iTunes I do think I follow them on instagram as well so I do think about this stuff It's just pry rot, but as well.

Yeah, but the X-mobile Yeah, such a such a hardcore gossbuster fan base that gets you excited About the franchise because it is a franchise that could be lost within fandom because it's there's no rhyme or reason for use for all of us To love it the way that we do the really isn't but for some reason it has that connection to like to the to the nerd in here That you can't not fall in love with it. Yeah Oh, yes It takes all the boxes in that again I know what to put in the first about the first one this one equally has one of the greatest soundtracks like as well Probably Yep, so does that and like It's actually a lippy starts walk and you can't help but your toes and start singing along with it as well Yeah, it's a funny thing about song you think of the roster as well. Yeah No The only thing Gems I know I was on about the other year. I was watching be watching the first two last two years Pete Vipman changes in courses too.

I don't know if he is not as And part of the team shall we say it doesn't it's like the course was in him. He's like He's got his TV show. He's got he's got the lights that I think he always wanted because I don't think he I think he likes the idea of science He just doesn't want to put the work in you rather have someone else do it for him And then he'll just take all the credit for it and that's what Ray was to him. Ray was his work guy Egon was he's like he's making sure all the theories were right and he just Took back and took credit for it.

Do you know what before we went further? We didn't mention from the first one the bestest bad guy ever water pick come on Matt has no oh William Madison fantastic and he's caught in his return the video game as well with excellence Yes, it's so good And I just absolutely love the fact that when he gets dumped with that marshmallow at the end it is fucking real He got dumped Fuzzles up like that. Yeah, actually ex always like They nearly broke his back with how much they put onto him But you know what he does not have a bad word He is still so heavily involved in this like franchise that he goes to the conventions He went to the fan festival years ago. I just love him.

I love him He's such a great bad guy. You just want to put his face in yeah When he came to one of the UK conventions a lot of mates UK gospel show so Simon and Luke and everyone and great guys where it calls plays They gave him a fruit basket Really? Yeah, yeah, I'll have to find the picture with the game That is awesome. Sorry.

I just completely forgot all about him And I just really deserve the mention also being the main villain, but no he is he's kind of It's the way he leans forward when he goes what is the magic word dr. Dachman and he's like please It's just the way he leans forward for years I always thought when I was a kid he was snaggle plus if you go back and watch the first boss Plus he sounds like snaggle plus that old guy too You're a bad guy, but yeah, you're so snammy I watch it easy as I like it because there's no doubt Pete is a complete ballet and he is a no way But he's a no way Oh, it's a sleaze ball Of course he is I think he's helpful But but he's way too soon to see We all that yeah, we all them needles He's got the two biggest tickets in the next day Universe fierce the fierce and the big it's almost like a double officially big type thing so he's really big as balance From the second one I think the second one just I love the second one It's got some great one miners, but it was a rehash of the first. Oh, he's still a great film He's a brilliant villain. I love that pizza.

Michael got to do like his own accent for you know He put it improvised the anno she's accent and it's got a great kind of it's a great story But he's so good. I mean I do feel sorry for the original accent, but yeah, sorry Oh, no, no, sorry. I was just I was just agreeing with him the The backstory of him as well like that is just so fascinating like I wanted to know more I was like, yeah, tell me more please what's going on That was involved with that like he was so heavily involved with like the backstories and using Like as much information as possible. But again, then elements were so interesting It wasn't just like a big ghost like it was like I said this wallock from the 15th century destroyed and killed so many people from from a exit of time, but again, it was so rich and well thought out and terrified And when he possesses rhea at the end that look them eyes They just it really freaked out.

Yeah, yeah Kind of rocky down his style makeup. Yeah, the prosthetics and and moving makeup like fascinated the life out of me So I just love the transformation because it's like even just it's eerie There's no other word describe how he looks at the ear and you know like Danapro has this beautifully soft cute face And then all of a sudden it just goes to that That is that is terrifying. Yeah, because that I've always Fruits Korea is being renowned for doing like prosthetics and stuff like corn heads as an example He always likes to get dressed up in as stuff as he can Was it creep shore or was it the twilight zone? I think it was a twilight zone where he did the wolf was at the wolf on it was like the Um, the pb Herman esque type Um, the van ride was that was that I don't know.

Oh my god don't come from his people But I'm sure it was I can't remember Was when there was It was Twilight zone it must be the end of twilight zone or the beginning of twilight zone and it's like almost a pb Herman kind of esque Can't like wrap riding in the end he changes it this way wolf and it's Danapro. So yes, he does like prosthetics He does like me. He's not scared to get in there I think when you talk about gosses is two words. It's less of a comedy As I said before it's more of a hard I'll say hard horror with some of those aspects like the abduction of Oscar from when the yanosh comes as a kind of a ghost as dressing like the book Money goss.

Yeah, that is fine as well and like There's probably a lot of kids from our age group that were scared to go in the bath after the bath scene as well When the bath come alive and try to eat the bb that was just horrific for like especially for a bit Lavelle which they're watching for the first time not seen Special effects anything like that before the only thing that freaked is out was the fact that it was sticky go Like I cannot stand the fact of my hands getting messy in that respect and having a No, that's not free to me. I'm not the fact that the bath was gonna come in attack us because of goomers in there Just about to watch me I'm watching and and also a very very young Jason rightman is a little shit of a kid from the birthday party who tells them that they are Yeah Believe it no my dad said you're full of crap and that's why you went out of business Well, that is the great Jason rightman who I think is gonna take us into such a wild ride with the next one the cuffron's a little girl with a I didn't know that I knew that Jason rightman. I didn't know that I didn't know that sister. Yeah, it's always sunny ash He's a little girly where they said it'll be away from Which one which one is he You know So who's that's that's jay's right and sister Catherine she's in it's always sunny.

Yeah, yeah She's um In a brother what they called Yeah, I can kind of see it now I Just I can't wait to see what he does I think he's there is there I think he's just the right man to do the job because let's be honest what we got in 2016 is not what we were expecting before we jump in the I'm just gonna go to gores was to visit. I do have one issue with the film again It's probably I didn't have an issue with it when I was a young guy But it's just too cheesy this element how the city's good will and positivity beats the ghost It's it's it's it's a nor to that the film didn't need and it wasn't in tune with the film either I didn't feel I thought it was trying to portray New York in a very different like you have to remember what New York was like back then It was not a great place to live like watch Paris is burning That's from the 80s and you're not that far away from the the timeline of what the gores was to the ring It's not a great place for at the time that people wanted to be it. I really generally believe it was a hey New York is actually a really good place to be That's how I always saw it It feels quite forced if that makes sense It feels like the film kind of laws but it just feels like it was forcing yeah They were disappointed Bill and Rick with a second one because it wasn't as in you couldn't they couldn't improvise like Yeah 90% of the script on the first one is mainly improvisation They really stuck to it on the second one because there was so much that they had the hit of storyline It just generally couldn't be missed and but if we can go into Answer the call just one more thing before we move on so yeah I don't mind it. I'm gonna say about the next one But I just remember as well and when I was a kid This was the first time I saw course was that the cinema was gores was to but the big thing after me as well And because I didn't notice this before was the Martin and campaign for courses to because the gadgets and things like you know I can't give weird cans apart but no I'm also a woman and steam comment when P as well.

I think they did something Yes, I don't remember that drink five alive Which was kind of right unbongo the not more high in kind of vitamin E and all that and they have the holographic torso I got rid of it with the holographic stickers you could get like the gold and the skull area brothers and Yeah, oh my god That is my favorite scene in gores was just to is the courtroom scene. I would literally just watch that scene And I draw that bit love it. It's amazing. It cuts into the brilliant rum de MC But some as well, you know was the best beautiful way back and it's like the skull It was a brilliant design as well and yeah I've told you forgot about that bit and it's like my favorite part of the whole film It's because so much actually goes on in it like there's the And with the go under the in the sewers and then there's the court case then there's the you know Baby getting kidnapped.

There's so much to it and they get sent the middlest Island as well Run by Bill Mary's brother. Yeah, Brian I'd come you always well The biggest was the world Peter more than he's in it as well, he's in the M restaurant you get signed chucked on him Got PTA he's yeah There's another frightening scene from the second one when when Janos goes to crying He's like who eats a dinner baby like today in the hallway when he's I like like dust frightening as well I look that kind of like yeah, God I think I think that was when the first time when I'd break was so when you see his eyes I don't think that he used to go to advert and used to sit there What's gonna happen? What's gonna happen? Well, yeah, I didn't I didn't want to leave off time I was still without talking about that kind of I was gonna come back and that was awesome I do remember that but now let's do answer the call because I really I don't want this to be excluded Oh, I'm not looking at ready to explode.

No, I do I do I do like answer the call I've got notes for it and all that I do like it. It blows hot and cold There's some brilliant lines brilliant moments. I will die on the hill for the soundtrack in the score like they were they are fantastic But yeah, it does some great jobs in there But then there's a job in there like the cleaved job, which is just terrible It should have been a passing of the torch movie. It should have been Remember this a while ago where it was gonna be a passing of the torch and it was gonna be Paul Oh, it's that Morgan like then guys then from that group of core friends was gonna be the ones that they passed it to and it just never Progressed it.

I always thought I was making it up. No, and then originally up cuz I'm and then they nearly got emissore But she returned it down because she didn't want to do another franchise after doing the amazing spider-man She'd have worked now with my sister Kathy. She's brilliant in bridesmaids brilliant in spy You know really good in my brilliant in my kimali, but she just wasn't right for this. No, she was steals a show and sort of some Leslie Jones I was worried about I'm worried about I'm worried because I've attitude is a little bit off sometimes and her attitude when they announced after life really put me off a Little bit but I thought a performance is pretty was absolutely brilliant kid.

We can all my Jesus. I saw a female you gone Yeah, but I want to be her soul badly I want a necklace screw you necklace I'm seeing where she breaks out her weapons at the end and the music is hidden in the background and all my God I'm thinking of it, but I could I could do without Kristen Bell and Melissa McCartney because their relationship means absolutely jack shit to me Yeah, Kristen Wiig was very like some of the lines he delivered was just terrible like what is it turns no more like Prince Tons of Domines and it's like yes, it was too. I get the awkward side of her I like that she's that kind of awkward Teenage like if you read goes from the past like a book and it's a really good book It explains kind of the why she's go scale But yeah the dance scenes were too many in that and we need to talk about for you know the God of thunder in there What would you thought some chrisms with and the villain as well? I thought Chris Hemingworth kind of saved it a little bit and his humor was like say the same and grace for a lot of things But and just before we start talking about like the individual characters My biggest problem with the film was as I said, it wasn't it was some said if it did a passenger torch film It would have made more sense and if it's the end of the way from the original course was to film like the beats where like Whether we're doing the work to find the own place.

Oh, yeah Even the scares they try to copy like they try to do the library course scene in their own way But was in essence the exact same course Like see at the end as well with the giant ghost was designed out the one that they keep secret that couple leaked Yeah, being the big thing again, it was just a giant marshmallow man Which I felt I felt lazy at times if they kept it like if they went we offer the truck and just went right we want to do a Female Egg Ghostbusters, which again, I'm all for it could work do a different story do a different take on it do things And then it would have worked it was too close to go suppose there's one but not different enough to make it interesting That was my big problem But again as a standalone film if I hadn't seen ghost was one or two, I would have enjoyed a more because it's fun There's aspects in it when it's entertaining again, some of the humans not for me, but again For like the judge on that aspect but and using the characters of the originals the way they did it's felt I missed miss People as a semi on Chris and work he serves the film in aspects Because he's probably just come off like he had been thought I hadn't done Thor Ragnarok yet So we didn't know it No, he's comedy It's a conversation though. He did the vacation movie the the kind of sequel with that helms just called vacation So we've done comedy and that and he was really good, but yeah, so we surely done some comedy like you say Ragnarok eventually as well But yeah, there's too many dance scenes and I think yeah He was he was awkward I like that about him in that in answer the call it was meant to be you know He's got the glasses where the lens is and he's dormant because I know it could have easily just been there was I can be as a Dumb icon before he did bring a lot of humor He was wasted at the end when he was possessed when he just got him all like doing that with a dance What was that about like this young man dancing there's too many dancing just don't watch the extended edition if you've not already seen it It's yeah Four dancing Sorry, I know no don't keep apologizing and I I generally don't understand where the heat came from though I really don't and it was a lot of it was a lot of hairs and I remember watching it and just going to know what The first one's like my love of course is completely intact this even though this is Take away from how I feel about it and to be honest if you watch it for what it is The job Yeah, when they four them together it wasn't as natural as which to get fair you're not gonna get that because the people who worked with I said it was back original courses. They have done films together Not just yeah, they've done Saturday night live and almost days are sat now but they're different generations different times That's they didn't have that kind of bond and you couldn't fall in love with it as much again No, you couldn't that's why I think the magic was you fell in love with the other two of course was this one You just thought oh it's entertaining and the use yeah I'm the use too much special effects that in bit where the ghosts the ghost weren't scary They were coming old and then look something like over the computer game at times Mrs. Slimer like I love Robin Shelby.

She's fantastic. She's played slimer. She's a two-ball. I love Robin But yeah, Mrs.

Slimer was just it was silly, but it was better That world in there because let's think like all the casts in their only hoodsons in there You know bill and bill Murray which I was shocked really shocked that Bill Murray actually went on board with it But and I heard it was just a case if he would do it if it had nothing to do with Pete Bankman That was the only only cause was it wouldn't have any to do a Pete Bankman I've only been trying to be the peer freeze divorce But that's why we're having that ghost was three before this is because he's been the one that put the blocks on for so many years He didn't want to paint anything that was because I know I've done I'd write did actually write a script for sports Was a very owned yeah, that was Post-beat coming up He's the one that's always put the stuff different happen So again I know it's just in that rumors and stuff but was things coming out that he was gonna do more in movie roles because he was Was getting that much alimony going out so that might have played a part of the I think the game is a third movie Yes, yes, it is now to won't tell me the end and because I played it right up until the right up to I think I was at the end My play station 4 cracked out to where we have to wipe it all so I am now starting it again on my play station 5 Which is what I was doing yesterday, so I'm happy to go through so while I'm doing everything that I've already done I put ghost was on in the background so I was I was being very met around was playing ghost was just while watching Was was just because I can only come to video My husband hates it absolutely despises I think we're trying to play them was it the one that was remastered came out? Yeah, that's what I'm saying is after I yes, no I did try to pass the first mouse model one So I kind of got pissed off. That's right. I'm up to right now.

He's really hard. It's really hard to beat him And it was written by Danaparoid and Harold Remus and the vice's are all genuine You know, there's nothing in there that's fake is such a good game if you were a ghost was the son Yes, even the bill's back at Williams back and saw that Yes, you may as an anti-pot to I just love I hate a transformation in the second one even though I own her court I've got a different court and I just it's just not the gene you remember from the first one and it's not gonna be the gene you see In afterlife either. It's like I was a confusion part to me as well when I got older because in the first one There was the chemistry between Janine and a gone you thought there was me there and then the second one It was her and Lewis which again didn't quite make sense which she's quite a baltzy like if any face character and he saw me can like I But I always wanted to make say in my head I also her and a gun which again depend on actually what happens enough to like with the thing because she's gonna be Grandmother or like again is that just me just getting too excited? I mean it has easy sleeping with Kelly, you know, you know, did he sleep with Kelly to feed him and Trevor You know what I mean, like who's created because you can see you know as you mentioned in the trailer video I love you exciting with that so I'm gonna watch that again over there like just just get passion It's like you really crying, but yeah, it's like The Kenagriff is the Kenagriff looks is a spit that Harold even down to the glasses.

Yeah She's how she's got me in a team. Yes, but she's 15 she's all dampers She's and she's in afterlife. She's in one of my favorite Netflix series at Horton and Hill House Where she plays the door right who she's phenomenal She is just a role. She is just such an incredible actress so versatile as well.

She's also in bloody the Conjuring one of the Annabelle films She plays them their daughter terrible film, but she's really good And so that's what I've got right for the next one. I think the cast and everything has been down to the tea So before moving on to the next next day afterlife and you had a question you want to ask us? Yeah, what did you reckon to Rowan? And answer the call.

Yeah, I think that was the best way to start this board Too much of a I Yes, it's very good to cartoony for me, but I didn't really but very cartoony sure as I was a bit Slap in the face to like people like us like nerds and stuff like that because it caught reading like a little bit of a loner and giddy So and was then going to that was just my take again I might be just like taking to to look on to find him Then get an offended by his geekness being Because there was all of them quite like I said the fact that the tip I made a nerd of it I'm not that pissed off. Yes, so I Trick I was getting bad back too much And I just I just he's not he's just not in the same league as what you had with Goza and obviously looking at the turn and and Vigor in the second one He's just not in their league and and I really hear the fact that at the end you hear him say who's goza? Yeah, no, yeah You didn't want to be included in the universe then don't include stuff from that universe that you wanted it to be separate and keep it separate Yeah, I think as well I couldn't quite understand the technology behind it as well like ghost bombs or ghost things I've Creating that element of the try to make it either too complicated or not make for the ghost reader I hate that when on time square and it's evaporating all the ghosts like that was collable Yeah Packing they using all these liddy I just don't know and with you're on that one Yeah, but it's okay, but that's what the old two of course was where they were something get possessed which again you can understand There was a magic painting which again, it's not out there. It's not But it's easy thing but these ghost machines are ghost clocks and where he had a die to be a sea operator And I was like, oh, this is getting too far, but I think that was my Yeah, right on this yeah Oh Do you know what the my talk about the more I'm like I can pick apart is but if I sat and watched it I would actually I don't mind it.

I just watch it But when you talk about it you do you don't have to get into the nitty gritty of what you really don't like about it That's the thing because when you think about it goes what's one again, it might be just we've lost in the process I can't see any problems or bad things about that You actually Was no doing the trailer top but you mentioned there was something you don't like about the first film possibly When did you say oh my god? With the watching recently I did enjoy it more than Every ask everyone's perfect everyone brings away again That's one second one again. There's a few little sloppy bits again As I mentioned the feel good factor fails for stuff like that's me nitpicking the third one If I'm calling it third film or like an extended version Um, it kind of just there's too many elements left in work. There's not but again if you sit down and watch it It's just your brain awesome.

It's a fun film. It's what it's going to be Well, it doesn't take out of the like it doesn't put you in that fantasy land like you want to be part of that world I mean some of the designs was good right yet. What was a really nice mo version of it? Some of the ghosts yeah like Lady Aldridge the ghost that was a nod to the sclery brothers in the sewer the almost course You know even slimer and lady slimer walks for them and the mr.

Steppe'll message them parade balloon that got killed And yeah, I didn't roll one source was cute. You know the version of the the logo. Yeah I think it was like what I said before it's kind of like a misstep. It could have been something that was great But it just was met Yeah, I think we were right we were writing a lot on it because Paul Feager's a you know, bridesmaid was one of the funniest films I've seen for a very long time and Melissa McCartney inspired his hands down Yes, it honestly I I wet my pants laughing at that film because Jason statham is a genius in it I don't particularly go out and watch a jason statham movie But honestly just perfect in that and I think we were right and a lot on the fact that Paul V was gonna bring the funny but the delivery of the funny just didn't quite learn with the people you expected it to I think it's a different type of humor because we're ghost bosses.

It wasn't very slapstick No, and bright makes as good as it is quite a slapstick type of human is like fartic jokes That's not what goes before the scene in the bridal store is genius. Yeah, like I think this day. Yeah I read off so funny. She should have been She should have been to answer the call because I honestly I think that her delivery is just spot on and it was just and it's such a shame Because I really do I love it Melissa McCartney, but I do get what you're saying It just didn't quite hit and her relationship with christen wig you would expect them to be on fire because of bridesmaids and it's not And it's not even a story.

It's just something missing I would probably say it's like a mark out of ten. It would always be a five Oh, yeah, I'd agree with that. Yeah, I would agree with that. Maybe a 4.5 Maybe I don't want to see I hear this because I don't hear this Um, but when you do talk about it, you do start to remember the the the nitty gritty of it and I don't Yeah, I think what you're saying when you're saying here.

I don't think I think it's a strong word I think it's a point in this obviously Is it I was really I was really whole I had high hopes say come on sure the motherfuck is that we you know that this can be pulled off I don't know just didn't quite know that I mean one of the truth the trailer was one of the worst And dislike trailers on youtube ever ever Yeah, it's like yeah, but the hit we got through it was awful like let's not be compared to around day and paul feet getting deaf Press was not in for that massager That's from a fun and these days the thing that won the property and the two it's to lengths where It's not for just you. It's fair on the show and something might have seen big without again Not to get any soapbox, but there's probably a lot of girls seeing Ghostbusters and to the goal I've seen the players. Yeah, and go to the Ghostbusters because that was they could relate more which that's what people don't understand and that's where the hit comes from That's why I get like quite quite angry about We wouldn't even do a podcast on the on the movies we hate because we didn't want to use the word hit in the sentence That's how much we don't want to bring here into the into the community I we've seen it in the star wars community very badly with um Oh gosh what's on him who played roars? Oh roars teacle.

Yeah, kelly mary tran. Yeah, kelly mary tran. That's it We saw what happened to her dazy Ridley then you go into marvel the dcdc fans are Oh, they are something to be reckoned with The start but the thing is when star wars when all that kicked off that was the level of toxicity I never wanted to see in the original prequel trilogy as well. Yeah.

Yeah, I was probably I was at the age where I was probably one of them because when I went to see the pictures to see uh Fund a minute or if we had a net back then let's just put it one down I don't think it would have been a nasty. That's the problem. Oh, Paul Everyone will get nasty and personal and that's the difference between not liking something and Being an absolute have been a decade about and this is why we're very conscious on keeping that out of this We don't know one no one's right or wrong. We are we are the new we are the new deal of podcasts the power of positive Because on that cheery note, let's say let's go into afterlife and actually I'm gonna go I haven't even watched the second series yet I know i'm disgraceful and I just wanted Leslie Jones now I will never Understand what that woman went through when she was doing and called because jesus It was horrible to watch and must have been horrible for her experience But what she said she stepped a real.

Yeah. Oh my gosh. It's just awful. Um, but what she said about the new film really Curled my tours Go on because she put on she got an actual she got an adult platform and she turned around and said it's oh shit Can't believe he's not including us.

Ladi Blah. We do not and I thought I got a minute You didn't want to be a part. This is nothing to do with the universe that your that your movie is set in This is from the original. This is where it all stems from it's coming from the son of the director of the first one How dare you get on your high horse about not being included in something that you are not Personally a part of that might just be my opinion, but it is You can't know It's like the sequel, you know, we've answered the call so we can't say you can't have like mass hysteria And the law goal and little nods to that and like the hooking by the firehouse include all that and then it not be a passenger Tatch and not have it be that kind of you know trying just be another movie You know and then say why don't you in like why do you include us?

I mean yet? Dan Shornig and the rest of the amazing IDW team did the crossover comic books which were amazing book Yeah, it works in the movie what you know if I wasn't gonna do a passenger Tatch movie Yeah, why why would we include them? They're not part of that universe Like he's not he's not counting them this the video game either the video game isn't canon in the new movie No, that's why I like the idea of this one because it um from what I've seen I don't know if it's taken into effect course buses too I know it's definitely leaning from course buses one But are we getting like a Halloween situation where anything that came after the first horse was just didn't happen? No other include in the second one.

Yeah, yeah Because from what I've seen in the trailers in what it's been read The clips that short the golf buses are from New York with them Steve off Well think about it as well as we mentioned earlier, it does include the sequel. I mean where he's reworking at the end of the trailer It has to be because What would I don't think they would think that way to exclude it. It's not a bad movie It's you know, it's not they might have been slightly disappointed with the outcome, but it's still there How much do you think we're going to find out about what's went on since then as well? I know it's going to be a new I hope so because I'm interested nor what Ray has been up to what what Peter's been up to and what Egon did as well.

That would be like interesting to me Like the kids find out that information and I say we're not going to something in Zulu or Zulu There's again is that why Egon's being building that I'm here and scary looking spooky house Because he knew something that I want to live in yeah, but I still want to live in Will Old Eventman be settled with Dana I don't know if I've heard that she's meant to be in it's a gory way But she's not not going to be in it if she could be an answer the call She is definitely and she had no qualms of being in that she would definitely be in this. I cannot not see anyone She is I'll include Will Duchindoff as well a little cameo with Trevor just chatting to Oscar Yeah, that would be you know what that would be such a tribute as well to be like for his brother as well I think that would be lovely and never even that everyone crossed me mind because why would he not? We've never seen him like out of a being a baby And there was a lot of years ago a few years back of Sigourney saying that we're doing it where Oscar was going to be a gospel Why would he not like I just I like that that's really good. That's that's gonna be good Because as I said before we know one of the gatekeepers potentially Paul wrote but don't know how they'll be able to have a little bit of one I think how they'll be able to have one because you see him on the day on the trailer So I think she'll be the I think she'll be the gatekeeper in part of the keymaster Oh my god, it's so exciting This is the Well, hopefully fingers crossed.

Let's talk to everyone because it is but this is third time lucky That this is gonna be released but the best part about it is when When he had the opportunity to delay it He did and he went in there with a fine tooth comb and even the sound he went in quality check the sound And make sure everything is crisp perfect because you know why he had the fucking time to do it Why didn't dc following that line with Wonder Woman? But um, it's interesting because I normally get worried when films do get delayed This one I'm not for something It was unexpected like this isn't this isn't how it was meant to go down was that we weren't meant to have the year that we had And to be honest, I don't think it would have made much difference. I just think because he had the time He could he could he could just make little changes. You know, there is some things where you probably thinking oh, I wish I did that Or I wish I did this and he had the opportunity to go oh, I can do this and that They're devils.

I feel as well if it did came out when it was meant We'll probably be talking about course was this for probably getting here right That's not even delayed though. It kind of works out really well because my kind of grace and been well fat and walking came and so They're gonna be older so that gives it not know that extra time to kind of do another one Pretty soon. I just finished doing the things as well. So um, there's no conflict and interest conflict and Actually scheduling things because there's no way this film is not gonna do well Yeah, definitely Definitely.

I would be I would be shocked if we didn't see another incarnation even if we didn't get the original guys back I think we are gonna fall so madly in love with that new cast. We are not gonna get it Now this is gonna come back. Yeah Two big films exam so looking forward to this year. Goersisters and Spider-man Then it's gonna be the two big ones that blow and all your As well as these two Yeah, I totally forgot about Spider-man because all I'm writing on is the course was this is gonna be the film of the earth It's I don't actually care if it's It's gonna have it'll have that walk of Jason right means previous moodies that kind of feel bought You also have the heart of the originals.

Yeah Yeah, that's what I get from it. Yeah, that's what I get from it's like the Martin campaign Thought this film has been done perfectly from the initial teas where you say the lightning hitting and the orthon and a little Blender con opening store. Oh, oh That was Good teas Score In his score is phenomenal for the first And then the first trailer we got when you heard the voice of as well Carlid feet Carlid car Beats as well like then ghost ones just think about as well the only thing again Not but I know it's gonna be the biggest toy corn out. I am a little bit worried about tiny mini marshmallow one Again, but again, it's Paul Road so I can't I can't be at Paul Road.

It's this year's girl. Do you like something said? Yeah? Yeah Honestly, I'm I'm not ashamed.

I am nearly 40 years old unless you have a Christmas. I got a girl Build a bit I was not looking at the trunnit one and the cuddly one. Yeah, that's not wrong yet I've seen there There's a few people in the fierzberg group that do 3d printing and they've actually 3d printed a few of the gorespots There's a smart one in so you might want to go on and message if you need Oh see I've seen it because I'm not in a position to buy anything at the moment because I have nowhere to put it And I have felt this room is and I see it every week. It's gonna become a theme this room will eventually be done out That's it'll be gone.

Them shells will be off. It's coming up running theme now Paul I feel like I'm just having to find my bedroom Every time you appear on the camera It'll just be all those other details something to like you again Your rooms are not like Jason Fitzsimmons from Goldspooners News. Have you seen his room? I have seen yeah I love the fact that he knows these people like it's so much free stuff.

Yeah, it's like yeah I'm Just a little spoiler for next week's podcast. I have heard rumors that I would next guest I'm gonna get dressed up for the occasion Okay I I I'm sorry I I know you probably want to come back again now because it sounds a bit like that. Thank you. Honestly, if we honestly do the afterlife and podcast, I would love to have you back on.

They're gonna do the next one There's a few films that we see what we'll do like I said, some likes to call them mini sorts They'll be going to the podcast right there Paul Yeah One of them questions I remember when you watch fanboys and at the end of fanboys I did makes it when I sit down and sit and see him and see him in the fundamentals and go turn each other Well, I'm supposed to be bad. I'm not ready for it to be bad One thing I'm really excited for is like, you know, you know, we're the first one we've got the librarian in the second one We've got the courage. I'm really excited. You never mind the rest of the film.

I'm really excited to see how we set up the theme How the theme kicks in at the start what's gonna happen? Is it just gonna be something in the farm? How is it? I get that but I'm also ready for I'm ready for change in a way and I'm ready for something new and different We've got new people new characters coming into it.

So I am I'm already for the nostalgia of it But I'm also ready for the the new because this is what we wanted We wanted a passion of the torch and we're getting it in in so I'm really excited I generally don't think that I am going to hear this but my god. I will not become another podcast if I do Just him. It will feel different. They'll have different forms to it Yeah, I would love it.

I know it sounds a bit strange if if of course on zoom wins What would happen? Bloody hell what is wrong with you? You believe seeing G and G dying in the next one and then I'll give a I said it's a passion of the torch. The old guys No, the kids aren't gonna be strong enough at the end for girls as temple, you know, so you know when they fight somebody like Shandor So they're gonna have that's where you see you know bill and you know Peter He gonna rate so repeat a way of rain winds to watch.

Hi. Bye I think they'll you they'll strap on you the drum suits again in the packs and they'll help I'm gonna be there for a good period. I don't think we're gonna get like a five-minute career I think we'll record on the phone with them helping Virgo by because the two-old to do it now, so they'll just maybe have one last part of it and that's it Absolutely, and I think we're gonna get a lot of fan service in this because it is a long time coming You know, I think that but I don't feel that that's a bad thing because if we do get another one Then we've had that moment and we can then move on to something different and phoebe and you see the kids seem to kind of be comfortable with a Tech already, you know phoebe and they're gonna see where she's kind of using the pro sunscreen to catch muncher And then you've got the artsy which Trevor releases the little trap Why was that never thought about truck on wheels come on that just doesn't as a toy. I want that man.

Mm It comes out of the back of the leg all one. It's mint. It's literally yeah, it's got like you press button It's a cool little construction that you've been working on gadgets over the years and that's cool You can tell he's kind of working on new like like the RTC and the gunner's seat because I'm gonna see like you mentioned in the After that is a dog to the real ghost was this yeah First of all, I'm going to go suppose this is amazing Because what was the one that came out after the real ghost is I know didn't touch on extreme Talk again as well. Yeah, but again you mentioned as well some of the comics that came out It's been quite interesting There's been so many cross-overs I was in cross-overs train courses and the teeny of the ninja turtles Yeah, I remember saying I'm sure there's a Batman cross-all Not only making that up on with that Yeah, but the mini-puffs and the big one that's an April So they're not gonna be just this year's world They are going to be introduced to step off what you're what wheel step of that again How can you introduce them again?

You know there's all of that mural on the wall if you're not it seems kind of when they're going around the corner of the XL one of the trillies kind of like the step of mesh metalers So they'll be a den and month they're not gonna wheel slimmer it again So that's why they brought months you know if you look at the merchandise It is very much this is you've got the kids you've got all the toys like the fright features What's that that some you mentioned and you know and there's a lot of like the ghost popper and there's a new proton pack out And things like that because to bring it in a new generation of kids, you know I want slime. I know munch is gonna go but I want to come you up on slime I'll see that might be a little bit of a little nod to slime I think that wouldn't be a quite good aspect. It would be nice. It would be nice thing to bring into it It's been so much fun.

I really enjoyed it. That was always big I love the law for it. It's child like and it is you know Both of you just it is child like and that's what it's about it bought from any reason Oh, you see the fiend tune and you see the fiend tune You see the logo and the logo for me like it reminds me of having the lunchbox It reminds me of eating the crisps as a kid the and the ghost jellies and buying the toothpaste and all that I mean, let's go look at the logo and it's like yeah the slime or toothpaste and and it you look the logo It's like yeah, like something said about it's not the fact it's not as big as the sister was the still was about the biggest movie franchise But gosh was there's answer the call it was a shame because a fandom kind of read it's ugly head Which we've never had the years always been a peaceful franchise. It's not the biggest franchise of zest I was on my board You see but I just the fiend song you hear those first few chords and it makes you feel like a child every time You know, I didn't see that intro.

So we go. Oh, no, I'm I keep doing that here. I'm so sorry I don't want to just be about it. Oh, you know, it's all fucking I was gonna get in about the the the fandom and how they did, you know The read the ugly head at a time when we've not been You know the community have not been heard from before and then this is how people get to meet them But for all you got that side you really got big the good guys like the good guys of the fandom coming out and this was at a time when that Ghosthead's documentary came out and for all it has its flaws.

It's still a very positive message of Real course was to fans. Yeah, and what they do for that community is especially in America Like it's not over here. We cause I mean, I don't know because I've never I've never joined or getting involved with a gosh Busted genuine community before and but over there they do a lot of charity work No, we do small re as well You must if you take a vision You know and a lot of the great guys and yeah, maybe don't do as much for charity as in say I mean, you know, they just turn up at conventions and you've got like New York's your gosh was there's you've got your Manchester Gores was there's you Welsh gores was there's etc. So this division is all around Britain as well But yeah, I know ghostheads kind of showed that you know, we're the do stuff of charity.

Yeah, and we've got Tom Burke out Who's kind of like I think he's like the main He's the one who gets invited to everything. Yeah, even when it's like a couple years ago I'm sorry, so he messaged me Tom's manager thing what he is the guy who who who who he was to these grandfather. He's like the me and for this isn't he Yeah, yeah She had any got the merchandise. Yeah, yeah, then you've got me in a Mars as well She had a cameo in there.

She's like a female like a kind of What's called like a scar gores post as fun and she had a cameo in answer the call She's pretty cool and yeah, like you say like what's he's facing the first movie and yeah Did you watch the party the part as well last year with Yeah So I bold my eyes like a little baby throw the whole thing more than just a name guys Yeah, you know you have like this this is jealous. Yeah, even you know, you can keep the five bucks mr I'm Jenny as well, and yeah, it was so special and it was lovely to see To see Bill Murray address Really? I'm gonna call him Ria Dan Akoroid is like Danny and like the head like such Oh, he's telling me when friends and I'm so glad he got a you got to make these peace with Harold Remus before he passed really yeah, I was such great Was that I'm really glad he got that because it you did an award show if you remember the scream awards The horror was we got the award for best movie for Zumbieland. Yeah, it was very emotional throughout that because I don't think it was long after he passed and Very very emotional, but god bless Bill Murray Yeah, but it's actually I always love his films Stripes me balls.

I can't exactly always top bill Murray films as well, but some things is an underrated. Yes, I love that film And we're gonna miss Melissa McCarthy as well It was probably the first film I ever saw her in you did a really good dramatic Well, I mean she needs to because she's always cleared that female Kevin James, you know Kevin James is always that like but that's friend and it's like Kevin James was brilliant in King of Queens when he was doing straight comedy But then like when he's just doing that stuff you know the fuck best friend It's like for when all of them listen to carefully goes and I'm like that's old no mistake Actually, I like going off so we're gonna wrap this up kills. Yeah, like it's been a good talk I hope you enjoyed it man. Thank you very much.

Oh, thank you. Thank you for listening as well It means the world to me and some and that message upon Facebook video. You did actually make some cry so just Some of the passion is what we do what we do both years well, you know, it is generally not You know just to see that passion even just like with just little things like tears, you know It's what it's about, you know, it evokes feelings. That's what being passionate about something is about This is what bro Paul to this and the minute honestly the minute he put on the internet that he was gonna start I was straight on messaging and need to be a part of this like I've been this line of work before I loved it I was working with a bunch of Americans which is no offense to Americans but we are very different in culture and It was just a breath of fresh air that someone who I've known since I was 16 was Wanting to do something I wanted to do anyway Yes You are the next week asylum you are you're the next week asylum like you see you know Kerry King Neil and Yeah, she's a Jody, but yeah, Kerry over the geek asylum a massive group and you guys are growing to that You know, I'm getting bigger up by the day So yeah, like I said before Thank you for listening and joining and even getting involved with the group as well Like it's been a big notice that how much you have been getting involved really It does mean a lot like to say to me personally when people do take a little bit of a fight shoulders And I know I'm like say there's others like I don't know it's absolutely huge with her Health group as well.

She's been a massive part which is always been like she's amazing And she is actually next week's guest as well So I will so she's been a return to talk about that She wanted to do some more Halloween each area and I'm in the next couple weeks as well. We've got a few guests coming up We've got the amazing Kelly Longholm coming back from the comedy He's coming back and joined by one of the regular forces Kelly Moon who is the queen of Halloween.
